Alejandro A. from MINNEAPOLIS, MN:
Great for the unbearably cold Minnesota winters. If these puppies keep my hands warm here, they sure can keep your hands warm anywhere else where there is a true winter. The storage sleeves are a huge add-on surprise. ID and cards fit perfectly in them. Many guys are asking me about them. Thank you!

Nathaniel B. from ATCHISON, KS:
First, the fit: I normally wear size Large work gloves. I purchased these in XL. I should've purchased 2XL. Seriously: though the finger holes are not constrictive, they're not roomy, either. Also, the ends of my fingers bottom out well before the web of my fingers hits the crotch of the glove fingers. The good: For the price, you can't beat these gloves. They are well insulated. They have a plastic over-glove in the zippered pocket on each glove. These will do well for my back-up gloves or for a passenger. Now, for the not-great: They don't have the greatest flexibility; they're molded straight, rather than with pre-bent fingers. The leather is thin and will not last long. I accidentally pressed 5-star on durability; I only meant to give it 3-stars for durability, but this will not let me go back. Again, these will make great gloves for back-up or for a passenger. Summary: I wouldn't purchase these for my primary gloves. However, two different passengers have used them and they've been very happy with how warm they keep their fingers. My primary cold-weather gloves are Leatherup #XG815-Gloves, which are more flexible, more durable, but cost more.

Larry L. from ROLAND, AR:
Good value but not the best insulation. My fingers froze in about 45 degree wind. I purchased more expensive gloves which insulated much better. I keep these in my saddle bags in case of rain. Still good gloves for the price.

I purchased these for my boyfriend because these were the only ones that said waterproof. I was so embarrassed when he unzipped the zipper on the back of the glove to reveal the vinal mitten inside . I guess thats what made them waterproof . I wish I had read the description more closlely. Leason learned to read all reviews and the small print

James G. from Rusk, TX:
These gloves are very nice. They are what I was looking for in the way of hand protection. My only issue (not complaint) with the gloves is that they are not quite large enough. (2XL) I can get my hand in after some time and effort. I have large hands, and a 10 inch wrist. A 3XL would be nice. I will be using these and see if they might stretch some over time. They feel pretty good after I get them on. I recommend them to anyone. Size is the issue for me.

Frederic L. from FT WALTON BCH, FL:
Gloves fit fine and seem like they would be warm, however I returned prior to using. I ordered gloves that would be warm and provide protection. The leather is very soft and did not look like it would hold up to any abuse and the padding, while thick, is very soft. They were comfortable, but not what I was looking for.

Michael C. from LEESBURG, VA:
Good glove for keeping me warm as this is the reason for the need. He ither day I used it to travel to a B.A.C.A.® meet and the temporaries in W,Virginia and NOVA. Was low 40. It was about 30 minutes I or the ride before my hands felt the cold. It was about 30 miles into the ride and most of the ride spends ranged from 40 -75 MPH. I am usually an L but dcided to buy an L and XL knowing I can return the one I cannot use (still waiting the refund). The l was too small but the XL fit good. I would recommend these glove just consider ordering one size up.

Laurianne S. from VIRGINIA BCH, VA:
I bought these gloves for my son, as his hands get cold and wet while riding his cycle. While he says they are very comfortable and keeps his hands warm, he has large hands and I ordered extra large and fit perfect. They didn't keep them dry at all. The gloves were soaked clean through.. big disappointment. So I purchased a light weight plastic glove to put over his hands and now even though they gets soaked his hands are dry yet the gloves keep his hands warm. Have not tried his in 30 decrees I'm sure they won't be warn in wet/cold conditions. Again they are NOT waterproof.

Good gloves seem like they are going to hold up well. Nice that they absorb some of the vibration from a old shovelhead. nice soft leather that fit well and block the wind well. When riding at 28 f the tips of my fingers got a little cold once i hat about 50 mph but hey if your riding at 28 you have to expect something to get at least a little cold

I got them for a 4-hour snowmobiling trip. At 30 deg, my hands stayed warm, comfirtable and dry the entire time. And the extra mitten hidden in the zipper is a bonus ! They did rip however, probably while dragging the snowmobile out of the ditch. The material is very soft, not too durable. But if you use them carefully, they work great !

Very comfortable mild weather gloves, you will want something warmer for cold weather but these will do the trick otherwise. They do run according to the sizing chart and the cuffs are fairly snug over the jacket sleeve, I find this to be a benefit as I like to have a good seal between my glove and jacket. For this price, you can't beat 'em.

John B. from ROCHESTER, NH:
Gloves: Nice gauntlet style gloves. They are a bit tight to get over my leather jacket, ( as other mention in reviews, but it is not a big deal. They hold up well on the early morning New England rides. They have a small zipper lining for the water proof mittens that came with them. And they DO work! I used them last week in pouring rain and stayed dry. Great price!

Stuart H. from MONTAGUE, MI:
I rated these gloves 3/5 because I was disappointed in the warmth they provided. It seems to me that the "meat" of the gloves is in the gauntlets, and that there was a lack of effort in the fingers. Yes, the leather is great. Yes, the price is fantastic. Yes, my leather jacket (X-B7210, X-Large) sleeves fit under the gauntlet, keeping out the wind and water. The sizing chart is true, I am please with my X-Large and it fits just like every other X-Large. Overall I am happy with this purchase, but I feel like gloves that advertise "premium" gloves that will keep you "warm for the long rides" should be warmer than this pair. Overall happy, but slightly disappointed. I'll still shop at LeatherUp.

Nathan H. from WAIANAE, HI:
Got these gloves for a planned coast to coast trip. I live in Hawaii, so I haven't yet used them. They are much thicker than I expected. So, they might be great on cold mornings. Only thing I didn't like was they were STUCK together, so when I separated them the color dye came off of one glove. They seem like they should do the job if I get stuck in a day or two of soggy rain.

First pair I got had a jammed zipped and the waterproof mitten was missing. The second pair is ok but the Velcro strap on the right glove is too short and doesn't stay attached so it is flopping in the breeze all the time. Ok other than that.

I haven't rode with these on yet but they are comfortable and the cover in the zipper pouch is an added bonus even if I don't use it. My hand measured at 3 5/8 so I ordered a large and was glad I did because they fit great so if you are borderline I would order up a size!

Ordered these gloves back in January and just started using them this month. I love them. Very soft and fit great. Went out one day in 35 degree weather and my hands stayed warm. The cuffs are a little tight pulling over my leather jacket but still fit. For the price I wasn't expecting much but to my surprise they are quality gloves.

George G. from SALEM, AL:
Needed a pair of gloves to keep my hands warm for the two months that it gets cold down south. These gloves did their purpose. Also was surprised to see the rain mittens that go over them when you open the zipper. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I noticed after about the second day of using them, the leather where i pull them on is starting to fade. Nothing huge that would keep me from wearing them. And a fifth of the price of the HD ones.

Timothy K. from Royersford, PA:
Overall these gloves were just OK. I liked that these came with rain covers and long cuffs. However, I returned them as the quality was questionable. The wrist straps looked like they weren't stitched all the way around in some parts, and the parts that were stitched looked like they were already starting to unravel - and these were new? The top and bottom of the wrist straps didn't look like they were lined up well before being sewn too. Also, the way these are padded make them feel puffy and tighter around the hand than they should be for the size. On a side note, these are not gauntlet gloves so they are not designed to go over your leather jacket sleeves. They are more so designed to fit under your rain jacket sleeves. A friend of mine bought the Xelement Padded Insulated Leather Motorcycle Gloves (Item: #XG1222-Gloves) and they look and feel great. I will be buying a pair of these and making my own rain covers.

Even though, I'm not sure which Steppes Tribe is divying up my $, these gloves, for the price point - are excellent!
