Donna F. from Fort Pierce, FL:
These boots are very well made and a comfortable! My only comment is they were a little big, but nothing that an extra pair/ or thick socks won't cure. They break in very quickly and the thick sole gives me that extra little bit I need to be able to flat foot my bike. Great bargain all around.

My wife really likes the boots. A bit stiff at first, but breaking in. However, one of the male snaps on the boot where the flap snaps over the zipper was missing.

Waverly E J. from HUNTLEY, MT:
I read reviews prior to ordering these boots and am overall satisfied with them. I normally have to order wide width or go up a size in most footwear but not with these. I ordered my true size and they fit well and allow for a heavy boot sock without being too snug nor sloppy on my feet. They appear to be well made. As for comfort I cant say as yet as Im still breaking them in. The only complaint I have about this boot is with the tongue and where it rubs into my ankle when my foot is flexed while riding. Hopefully time will soften this part of the boot and if not will trim away to suit. Shipping was fast and ordering process was painless.

John E. from Lafayette, OR:
Personally I don't know how they fit, they were a gift. But she says they are great, both fit and comfort, of course I think the price is a pretty good fit. In a couple days I'll tell ya how they fit for her but from experience if they fit like my riding boots do or my leather pants or jacket or etc. they will be just fine. Yep, I buy a lot from Leather Up, the quality is primo and the prices can't be beat. Even if the prices weren't so good I'd still buy here my style mostly. Granted there are some fruity looking items but I don't buy or want those but the rest are exactly what we all wear. I've sent many guys here to buy and now they don't go back to their custom shop anymore.

Peggy A. R. from HAWTHORNE, NY:
Have only worn the boots once so far since the riding season is about to end soon. Wanted a boot to wear a heavier sock since I do ride when it's a bit colder. I usually take and 8 1/2 - 9 (closer to a 9) and ordered a size 9. They were roomy enough to wear a heavy sock without squashing my toes. The leather was a good quality, not too soft or too hard, and the sole had a good grip. Didn't feel like I needed to break them in. I never lace them to the very top since ankle high boots usually dig in. Only dislike was that once I tied the laces to have a secure fit, I couldn't use the zipper and snaps on the sides, unlike other boots that I've worn. Once you're in the boot you're in. O didn't want to have to use the laces every time but a small price to pay for the fit. I'd definitely order another boot in a different style for the spring riding season. Not too sure about the durability yet but will give it a 5 anyway.

Barbara W. from CICERO, NY:
I love this boot! I read many reviews and did as suggested ordering 1/2 size smaller that what I normally wear. They are plenty roomy for a mid-heavy weight boot sock. Another reviewer mentioned the snap being hard to snap closed. I found this to be true as well, but what I like is that I don't have to unzip/snap the boot to get my foot in. I just loosen the laces and slid my foot inside. They are comfortable to walk in and I love the tread and oil resistent sole. I am thrilled with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more of this brand of boot.

Jan P. from NASHUA, NH:
Theses boots seem to run a little large. I normally wear an 8, with a wide toe box and small heel. These were about as large as I could handle with a big pair of socks on. The boots themselves are very well made, nice looking, and seem like they will be very durable. They are heavy to wear but I liked the idea of the heavy soles and oil resistance. Great value.

Really good looking boo - nice finish, not "girly" , nice zip, just good overall.. WIsh they came in a Wide Width. I had to return mine...81/2 seemed a bit small///no 9 nor 91/2 in stock. I rated durability 5 stars because I had to for a review..but I really have no idea since I returned them.

This is my second pair of these boots. This is an excellent boot... rivals Harley boots. I get compliments ALL THE TIME! Love the zipper and the laces help keep them stiff on my ankel. I ride all year long, and put "Snow Seal" to condition them. Rain/cold is never an issue. Only Negatives are: They run slightly wide, the black will bleed on your socks for a while; My jeans will get snagged on the "X". I am going to order another pair to have ready. I wear a 6 and had to wait a while for the stock to return.

Tamai F. from MT PLEASANT, IA:
As the other reviews have stated they do run larger for the size that you purchase. The boots do bleed on the socks. I have wore them only one time and did not like the fit. In fact I wore a sore on the outside of my right ankle. I couldn't walk far in them and switched into my tennis shoes when we would stop and walk any distance. Maybe wearing two pairs of socks would help. The snaps are hard to close. If I could return them I would.

Michele P. from FORT WORTH, TX:
I ordered a size 7 and I am a true size 7 and I HAVE to wear two pair of socks. My feet are wide and these boots are wide even though they are noted as a M width. They are heavy and you will get a work out in your calves if you plan to walk around in them, but I felt they were comfortable from the beginning, I did buy gel inserts for them because sometimes I am on my feet for several hours when I wear them. I thought I might send them back when I first got them because I laced them all the way up and the top was not comfortable as there is no padding. READ the RETURN instructions before removing ANY tags. Since I was unable to return them because I broke to or three of the "rules", I found an alternate way to wear them; I use only the bottom hook and then wrap the laces around my ankle and tie them off. With my high socks on the top does not bother my calf or rub. I will get plenty of use and wear from these, but they are NOT my favorite pair of motorcycle boots I've ever owned. Don't wear socks you don't want stained, even after several wears of these boots they black dye is still bleeding onto my white socks.

The boots are great! The only negative would be that the snaps are really tough to snap. I leave them snapped and then just use the laces. I also had to start wearing 2 pair of socks because the snaps dug into my ankle....small things though. I love the boots and Leather Up!

I bought these for my daughter and of course I ordered the wrong size! LeatherUp took them back and shipped the right size immediately. They fit my daughter very well. She took her riders safety course in them the day after she got them. Good fit, soft leather, great non-slip soles. Good boot, as are all the boots I have gotten from LeaterUp! Thanks again, Ros

Shelly S. from MESA, AZ:
After reading others reviews I decided to order a size 7 (I normally wear a 7-8) and I had to return them for an 8. I am still breaking them in A LITTLE. The leather is very soft, but the shaft feels a bit stiff and sometimes the eyelets feel like they are pushing into the top of my feet, even when the laces aren't too tight. I have only worn them twice, for about 8 hrs. ea. time, once to work & once to ride. The heel is a bit higher than I'm used to, I need to lift my leg a bit higher so as not to scratch the seat (however I am only 5'2"with short legs and that is probably the REAL problem:) The snaps are a bit difficult to get snapped so I just leave them snapped and use the laces. I'm sure after they've been worn a few more times everything will be more comfortable. They are very stylish, they look great on and overall I really like them a lot!

Love my new boots. They are comfortable and easy to wear. I read the other reviews and instead of ordering half a size smaller, I ordered my size and they fit perfectly. They also broke in quickly. My first time wearing them was a long ride and I found that I don't feel the heat from the exhaust in these like I did in my old boots, a pair of old Doc Martens (I am the passenger, not the driver). I am very happy with these.

Susie P. from CLARKSBURG, MD:
Love these boots! Ordered these when I had to return another pair that was too tight and rubbed my calf. The zipper is great for quick on and off. Got these for a motorcycle class and was grateful for them, as I dumped the bike and sadly, all 370 lbs landed on my left foot and ankle! Thankfully these boots did what they should and while I was bruised (wasn't going very fast), I was able to get back on and keep riding. I also bought an Xelement jacket and am very happy with the quality. I have wide feet, so these are great.

After reading some of the reviews on here, I have decided to buy them, since I need them for motorcycle class soon. I just got the boot yesterday and they were right, it does make you feel a little taller (I'm 5' 1"). I did get the same size on my sneakers and I was afraid that it might be too big or too snug, but I was wrong. Fits me just right. Now, I do have to break them in before my class, but it was worth it. I do have a bit of trouble with the snaps, because I have to pull a little harder just to snap them both. I do love the zipper because I don't have to keep taking the laces off.

Ann P. from AURORA, OH:
Love these boots!! At first I thought they were very stiff and hard. I was worried how long it might take for them to break in and get as comfortable as my worn out pair of boots. After the second time of wearing these boots they were already comfortable. They're very sturdy and I love the zipper for faster on and off. This too becomes softer and more broken in with a little wear. Great lug sole for firm footing. I completely agree with the prior posts that these boots run big. I took everyone's advice and ordered half size smaller and they're perfect. I also noticed that these boots have tiny screws in the lug sole and I think it might be for re-soling in the future? If so I think this is a great advantage. I have a pair of old Harley boots getting re soled now and they don't have these screws and the labor is much more intensive and the cost of just adding new soles is almost what I paid for these boots! Yikes. I'd definitely recommend these boots. My Husband and I also have textile jackets from Xelement (Leather-up) and these too are great! Totally satisfied with Leather up and Xelement!

very sturdy and good quality. agree with the other reviews that they are very comfortable and do run a 1/2 size big. they added the height i needed for my bike, without feeling like i was in high heels. they are definitely thick leather, and stiff toes as you would expect from something sturdy. but they've worked great even with my street bike and are comfortable even to work without being gaudy.

I bought these boots to take the motorcycle driving class - wore them for the first time on the day of the class. No need to break them in - really comfortable and easy to get on and off without having to untie them thanks to the zipper. Snaps are a little stiff, but they seem to be getting easier the more I wear them. The sizes do run about 1/2 size bigger than you'd expect.

Great boots!! The leather is soft and no need to break in. Just put them on and GO. They do run a bit large. I usually wear a 71/2 so I ordered a 61/2 and they feel great. Which is important because I am a Type 1 diabetic. (The only thing I would change - they keep turning my white socks black.)

I gave these four stars only because I had to trim excess material near one of the zippers which gave ae a blister on my leg the first time I wore them. Once trimmed however the boots are fantastic, the fit and comfort is very good. I ordered 1/2 size down from my usual size and the fit is still quite roomy, enough to wear fat socks if desired. I bought these boots for work but have been wearing them everywhere. The boots appear to be well made and I am pleased I found LeatherUp, a fantastic source for quality boots at good prices. I am recommending this site to eveyone who asks about my boots.
