Diana W. from Bend, OR:
The boots are very comfortable! I read the reviews and ordered a half size smaller. I have a wide foot and was a little worried the first day wearing them that they would be too tight. But so far so good. I have worn them all day for a few days walking and they feel great. I'm curious to see how they hold up, because they were a screaming deal at $75!

Maire P. from PHILO, CA:
Thank you for the motorcycle boots you sent to me; I put them on immediately and started walking to test at what point they would require some modifications, as all my previous boots have always had a need for this: One mile, two miles, three miles up and down the dirt road I went, and still feeling as if I could continue forever. They are comfortable exactly the way I was hoping for! And perfect how they look: Just what I wanted. I will be 74 this year and know that these boots will keep me happy and healthy (I frequently walk almost 10 miles a day.) on the city streets and in the Redwoods, where I live. The quality of these boots is excellent and the leather beautiful. Wearing them I feel eighteen again. I will order another pair soon even if I know that the ones I have, the way they are built, very likely will live longer than I. Because I teach Tai Chi I also noticed that these boots are wonderful for this, keeping me easily moving through the classic Tai Chi poses in a natural balance. I'm sending you a picture about myself wearing your magnificent boots. With gratitude.

Michelle H. from TULSA, OK:
Buy normal size. Fit great! Soft. Buy knee socks or boots socks. Crew socks and anything else will wind up in the toe. Great boot. Worth buying. I love mine. First pair of harness boots. Very happy!

Jill K. from WRENTHAM, MA:
The only thing that could make me love these boots more is if the top of the shaft was just a smidgen wider. Those of us with "ahem" athletic calves (wider than 16 inches) could use just a bit more space to allow us to pull the boot all the way up. I'm hoping that over time the heat from my body will allow the boot to form to my leg and I will be able to pull the boot all the way up to avoid elephant ankle. I love the leather, I love the sole and I love the over all fit of the boot. I also love the cut of the toe box and the harness details. I have a wide foot and have had no issue with the fit and can wear this boot all day long. This is a great boot for an amazing price.

Meredith B. from BEND, OR:
Oh Yeah , these are rockstar! I read the comments . I took advise of, 1/2 size smaller and they are perfect. I had a pair of brand named boots in the early 70's and loved them but in a moment of ' mental pause' I gave them to a thrift house 30 years later and immediatley regreted it. So when I found about the site from my son who highly recommended your company, I went for it and they are exactly like the F%$# brand I had 4 decades ago, I'm a very happy camper and customer service is STELLAR!

My wife loves these boots. She says they are the most comfortable boots she has ever worn. I bought them for her as dedicated motorcycle riding boots but she wears them everywhere. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size smaller.

I decided not to take advice about size and ordered normal .....they run big for sure!! I loved and needed them so badly I havent taken them off. My Harley brand I purchased years back ran small that what scared me into not listening. The price is amazing and everyone asks me where I got them. I am ordering another pair for me and my daughter. LOVE!!! Thanks Leather Up! Sharisma (Bar Rescue Episode "Dash of Bitters" Spike TV)

Dawn H. from SPOKANE, WA:
I ordered 1/2 size down like recommended, and they still are just a bit long. However they are tight across the toes I am hoping they loosen up with wear cause these boots are kick ass. I love the way they look and the finish on them is nice, darker than pictured which I like, and the leather is pretty soft. SO overall I would say a great buy! I plan on wearing these boots for the rest of my life. LOVE

Darrell H. from GREELEY, CO:
I loved the boot. It just didn't fit my foot right. I wear an 81/2 and ordered an 81/2 and probably could of went with an 8. I have a wide foot and the boot was fine in width, the problem was at the calf it was a little snugger then I like, therefore I sent them back. They appeared to be one of the best boots I have seen made. They would be easy to get resoled and new heels when the time came. The leather and workmanship was fabulous. The style would allow you to wear these boots with what ever fit your fancy. I am so disappointed that they were not a good fit for me. I have had issue with boots/shoes fitting me all my life, so with that said I would still rate these boots a 4.9 stars.

I love these boots, I get so many compliments on them. I tell everyone about leatherup.com, it's the best value and the better product. I usually wear a 9 1/2 in womens shoes and an 8 1/2 to 9 in boots. I ordered an 8 1/2 and they were way too big. leatherup made it easy to return and I had my new size 8 boots quickly unfortunately they were still too big. I wear them any way and they are classy enough to wear on most any occasion. I suggest ordering smaller sizes and when I reorder my next pair I will get a 7 1/2. I recently wore them to a rally a good distance from home and they were so comfortable and kept my feet warm and well protected in the cold windy weather. Thanks leatherup for a great riding boot. I will continue to order from leatherup as I have before.

Barbara F. from STONY POINT, NY:
I bought these to replace the 9 1/2's. I really should have listened to the reviews. The fit is perfect along with everything else. Comfort from the word go. As for durability, I don't have a clus. I have had them less than a year so it would be hard to tell at this point......If you are thinking about getting these you can't go wrong for the money. Just remember to BUY THEM ONE HALF SIZE SMALLER than what you normally wear.

Edwin B. from STOCKBRIDGE, GA:
I give this riding boot a 6 out of 5 stars! Great fit (as has been suggested by others: go with a half size smaller); timely delivery and aside from the comfortable wear and lovely look, this boot has literally protected my ankle/foot from serious traumatic injury. The incident that could have crushed my foot at a low speed, sharp turn between flat surface asphalt and a curb leading to an inclined hill, gave the boot the brunt of damage- jeopardizing the integrity of it but leaving my foot unscathed and completely protected. I have since ordered another pair and I'm riding free with happy feet! LeatherUp.com makes ordering items fun and convenient. I hope this helps.

Greta Hurst W. from CLINTON, KY:
Holy crap...never in my life have i had a more comfortable pair of boots. Do the whole 1/2 size smaller thing, mine fit perfect. Five minutes after i put them on they started shaping to my foot. I got them to ride my bike, but i work in a shipping warehouse on a cement floor all day and needed some new ones. Wore them yesterday and had NO PROBLEM with foot soreness at all for a 10 hour shift. The colour is darker than picture and is exactly what i wanted. The boots are like buttah, so soft, i could just eat them up!

Patricia F. from ASTON, PA:
I bought these for a planned 3000 mile motorcycle trip. I was a little concerned about wearing new boots for such a long trip, but when packing the bike for a 10 day trip it's not practical to bring more than one pair. Although they initially felt a little heavy, they turned out to be extremely comfortable the entire trip, whether riding or walking. They looked great with jeans, were very soft, and had excellent "grip" on the road. Hit a rainstorm and they got soaked but dried out like new. As recommended in reviews, I purchased 1/2 size smaller than my usual size and they fit perfect with light cotton socks. Worth every penny- less than half the price of the "motorcycle" brand I would normally buy! Thanks LeatherUp, you never let me down!!

Dianne M. from BILLINGS, MT:
I have to enter my 5 star rating along with almost everybody else. These are a beautifully made boot. I love the compliments I get and let people know where I ordered them. My boots are often mistaken for a well known brand that readily charges $250 to over $300 per pair. I ignored the review comments on ordering a smaller size and, as a consequence, had to exchange mine for 1/2 size smaller. LeatherUp was more than accommodating. How great to deal with a company like this. Many kudos!

These boots are very high quality leather and will last for years and years. I'm glad I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size smaller. They fit perfectly. Should I buy them in black too? I keep asking myself this and most likely will. A great buy for a great price!

I love these! Not only do they look great, they wear well. I ordered the half size down and they fit well. I have a high arch so the top seam was very tight initially, after some wear the soft leather loosened up and no longer hurt. I get a ton of compliments from them and they keep my feet pretty warm. THey scuff up easily so if you're looking to keep them pristine it might be difficult.

I got these boots yesterday, and I am wearing them again today. They are a little big, and the leather is soft enough to where they may loosen up some more. I will get some insert soles to tighten them up a bit. I got the smallest size available, so I didn't have the option of going smaller. The price is great, and I'm proud of the scuffs I have so far. My shift toe got marked up easily, so if you are looking to keep these scuff free, you might have a hard time with that.

Love these boots. Comfortable from the first time I put them on my feet. So glad I read the reviews. I took everyone's advice and ordered 1/2 size down and they fit perfectly. Little bit of play room but not too much. I can wear regular socks or heavier socks for colder weather and still have room to be comfortable. Definitely a good purchase.

Jennifer M. from HENDERSONVLLE, NC:
Even with all the "these run large" comments, I was skeptical, so I ordered my normal size. So glad I did. Boots are supposed to slip a bit in the heel...at least every time I've bought cowboy boots, that's what I've been told. But they don't slip too much anyway. I'm fairly certain I couldn't have worn a smaller size. I got these yesterday and felt like a badass walking around in them. About halfway through the day, my feet started getting a little uncomfortable, and I was in WalMart, so I bought a pair of the "2 oz miracle" inserts/insoles and they feel better now. I always wanted the Frye 12Rs, but they are so heavy and uncomfortable and expensive, that I feel like a champion for finding these. I am trying to decide whether to get these same ones in black or to get the engineer ones in black. Hard decision! Leatherup is my new friend.

Ordered these boots, they were comfortable the first wear no breaking in needed. The sizing is like everyone said order 1/2 size smaller I did and they are a perfect fit. Awesome boot for the price. My husband is a long time rider and wears Harley everthing, but did agree that this is a very nice riding boot, he will order the same boot in mens, i'm sure he will not be dissapointed. Thanks leatherup we will be long time customers.

Very comfortable! I have a wide foot as well and was pleased how easily these slipped on. I reccommend staying with your true size if you have a wider foot. I think if I went smaller they would not be as comfortable. That's just my opinion though, use your own judgement and how you usually fit into other shoes. Either way these boots are very, very nice and perfect for riding.

Super comfortable right from the start. I wear an 8.5, I bought an 8, good choice. I have kind of wide feet, but the soft leather gives me the room I need comfortably. Fits well around my pretty big calves too. Keeps my feet warm on the bike always.

I LOVE these boots. First day I had them I wore them to work and stood and walked in them ALL DAY!! SOOO comfortable!!! No pinching...no rubbing...like wearing a pair of soft comfey socks! That said... They actually run about a FULL SIZE LARGE. I normally wear an 8 but on everyone's recommendation I bought the 7.5 It was huge! Returning them was super easy and FAST but even the 7 is quite roomy with thick socks on. I wish the website would give a measurement of the sole length and width...that would at least give us a good starting place!

Charmaine R. from Ingleside, TX:
I wanted a pair of boots to match my husband's. I wear a true women's size 7M 99% of the time. I read the reviews recommending going down a 1/2 size. LeatherUp was out of size 7 and only had 1 pair of 6-1/2 left so I took a chance and ordered them. These boots took about 15 minutes to slightly break in. They fit me perfect, so yes, down size by a 1/2 size. I'm so glad I did. I can wear them all day and forget I have boots on, a first for me. I usually can't stand boots for more than a few hours and can't wait to get them off, but not these puppies, they are extremely comfortable on my feet. I love the way they look with my jeans!
