| I was amazed at the quality of the leather and the structure. I am 5'5" and weigh 140#. Usually I wear an 8-10 and ordered the size 10 thinking that they would be just right with jeans underneath however, I returned the size 10 for a size 8. The size 8 fit nicely in the waist and hip however my thighs are more of a size 6 which made wearing the 8 a slight bit loose in the thigh. I kept the 8 but could have still gone down on the size.
I would recommend for any woman who has thinner legs/thighs to adjust down one size unless the waist size is more critical in fitting. Keep in mind that the waist is adjustable at the the chaps waist line, so again for my measurements I would have gone by the thigh measurement which would have sized me for a 6. |

| This is the 2nd pair I've purchased (size change). They are a good, high-quality product at a surprisingly low price. The leather is thick, yet soft and already broken-in, so they are comfortable the first time you wear them. The hardware is durable and sturdy. You can adjust the waist not only in the belt buckle but also with the ties at the back. Lots of extra length to cut and customize the inseam. Thigh expanders are comfortable, effective and don't look dorky. Size chart is true. Highly recommended. |

| I bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them!! If I didn't have a pair already I would see if they have a men's version of these. For the money they are the best chaps you can buy. These even beat out far more expensive chaps. They are true to jean size which is nice since I bought these as a surprise. They fit perfectly, look great and are lined! | I have tried chaps on in many stores and could not find the right fit. Too tight, too long just did not fit right. When I saw these I was not going to order due to not being abe to try them on and figured what do i have to lose. So I ordered the same size as the jeans I wear and much to my surprise they fit perfect. I had to cut 8" off because I am so short but other than that they are great. I took they to a taylor and he gave me a nice hem on them. Great leather too. Very soft. I am riding now even with it being December and am warm. Thanks very much. Very quick delivery. |

| The perfect chap for the hippy woman!
This is my first time buying bike leathers. I was short of time and didn't like what I saw in the local shops - so I found leatherup. I am 5'7" wear a 16 - 18 size Lee jean, heavy in the hips & thighs. I used the chart - and the chaps fit perfectly, I only needed to trim the length. They are comfortable and easy to put on. The extra zipper at the thigh will allow me to wear them down at least 2 sizes as I loose weight. |

I ordered a size down from what I normally wear only because they were sold out of the 12s and the 10 was the same only an 1/2 inch shorter but the same in all other aspects. I knew I would be cutting a few inches off of them anyway so a 10 was fine. They are very soft, comforable and run a tad big so the the 10 was fine.
The price was great, I am very pleased with my chaps. |

| These are great chaps. My only issue I had was I had to cut off the bottom 2 snaps at 5'3". Also, they are really made for bigger thighs with the stretch insert. I have small thighs at 19" and they are a little loose in that area, but not so bad you can't wear them. But if you have thinner upper legs, I recommend getting ones without the stretchy insert. |

| I measured my thigh and used the size chart, however, I mistakenly measured to my bare thigh rather over jeans, so my pair are a bit more snug then I rather have them. My suggestion would be to measure with jeans on and then order one size up. |

| I am pleased with my chaps. They feel great and keep me warm. But getting the correct size was a dilemma. I usually wear a 10, but the size chart said size 6. Many reviewers said they fit to size. Going by the thigh measurement I ordered the 6. It's fits, just a bit roomy in the thigh area. I wish there was more width in the back where it laces up. I have to lace loosely a two inch gap in the back and buckling it on the second set of holes in front. Please tell Xelement to make a more generous belted closure! |

With the elastic and the zipper on the thigh, I can wear these chaps with any weight of jeans. I'm 5'8" and my boots add another inch. I will have to cut a bit off the bottom leg. I had a hard time deciding what size to order, because I am normally a women's size 6, but according the the measurments on the size chart, I ordered a size 12. The size 12 does fit me well, just a little loose on the waist but I could always punch another belt hole if needed. So I recommend ordering based on the size chart, even if it's not even close to your normal size. Hope that helps! |

| I really like the Chaps. I wear a size 8 in jeans & I ordered an 8 in the Chaps. The fit was perfect. I previously ordered the Xelement womens low cut riding Chaps & really like them but the size I ordered was to big & they did not have any other sizes. The low cut chaps worked well with the style of jeans I wear. The Dual Comfort Chaps ride just above my jeans. They are fine but I really liked the low cut Chaps. Leatherup you need more low cut sizes. |

I'm short so I'm having to cut a lot off the bottom but I expected that and it looks like it will be right in the middle of the snaps. I wondered if the elastic thighs would look cheezy - they look way beter than they do in the picture. Plenty of room in the waistband too. |
