| I'd been wanting to buy these chaps for a couple years but had trouble with sizing then stock. i wear size 4/6 jeans, and ordered them originally in size 8 thinking it would be more than anough upsizing. wrong - way too tight on thighs. so i took the size chart seriously (and other reviewers advice) and went with a size 12 - they fit perfectly. since my thighs are 22". so, my advice is, unless you have skinny thighs, don't go by your usual clothes size, and measure your thigh - and don't worry that you are (gasp) wearing a size 12 pair of chaps! nice, good looking and supple leather. i only wish they had a removable lining. |

| These are very well made chaps. You can definitely tell the difference between these and cheaper ones. The seams are reinforced and all edges (except bottom which is typical) are finished. Hardware is heavy duty. I normally wear a size 10 in jeans, but I ordered the 14 because of my thigh measurement. I have the belt on the tightest hole and the laces on the back overlap. If I hadn't needed to wear them today, I would have exchanged them for the 12s. It's nice to have the length, though. I am 5'9" tall and they fit perfectly with a 1 inch heel boot. I highly recommend these chaps. |

| These ladies chaps are a great value and fit for the price! The low-cut works much better for today's jeans style, the hardware is very durable and the lining (knee length) gives them a polished look and feel. They have the classic biker look (no bling) which I much prefer. I took the advice to order a size larger (I wear a 12 and ordered a 14) and they fit perfectly. Depending on your height, they will need shortening. I am 5'5" and will need a good inch taken from the bottom. I strongly recommend not just cutting or glueing them at the bottom. It's worth the extra money you saved to have them professionally hem-stiched by a leather or good shoe repair person. They look great too with the Xelement Women's Classic Black Biker Jacket which I had already bought (size M worked best for me). |

| I bought these for a friend of mine who joins my husband and me on weekend rides. We checked the thigh measurement for the correct size to order. She usually wears a size 8 in jeans. Her thigh measurement was 21". I ordered the size 10 for the added length. I know the leather would stretch if needed. When the chaps arrived, they fit her perfectly! They weren't too tight and fit great over her jeans. The length was perfect! Long enough to wear with slight heeled boots, but did not drag on the ground. After a weekend ride, the chaps kept their shape. She said they were so comfortable, that she forgot she was wearing them. They kept out the cold form the air temperature, as well as highway riding. | These chaps are just what I wanted, low riding with a "skinny" fit feel iin the leg area. The chap measurements are true to size. I'm a size 25" in the thigh but wanted the legs to fit snug, so I opted for the size 14 and with a litte tug can get them zipped. I have worn the chaps with jeans and thermals no problem. I also bought a size 16 and it fits me as well w/o the tug. The legs were not as snug to my jeans as the size 14. Good leather and great feel! |

| I am happy with these chaps. I wear a size 8 ladies levi's and I ordered a size 12 chaps and they fit perfect. I used the measurements of the thigh as directed, my measurement was in between two sizes and I went with the larger size. The only problem I see, is that they are not lined from the knee down (maybe none are, I don't know) so if you are going to wear white or light colored jeans the black may bleed onto your jeans. Not a problem for me, as I usually wear a darker jeans. |

| These are BY FAR the BEST fitting chaps I've tried from Leather Up. I've tried the Dual Comfort in size 10 then sz 8, but still too big especially in legs too. I'm a size 11/12 and 13..depends on what pants. I am definitely NOT small legged woman! I ordered these chaps in sz 12 and am finally happy with the fit! Way nicer fitting on the legs and also... the look in front too....the small grommet detail on that front pocket really makes it! I had went to a small leather & variety shop and tried on pair of men's mediums which fit great with a great leather quality and nice grommet detail in front for 120.00 but I was waiting for my exchange from LeatherUp. It was the sz 8 in Dual Comfort Chaps which still werent the fit I wanted...too loose. | Would have preferred the pair with elastic thigh for comfort, but they were no longer in stock. Once I managed to get these on--which was an entertaining endeavor!--the fit was good. I wear 0-2, and 2 is the smallest, which fit fine over my jeans, but I can see why some might want a bit roomier. I suspect they will stretch nicely with wear. One observation: The leather lace in the back is WAY too short! I'm teeny, and the only way I managed to get the belt around my hips / waist was to untie the lace, rethread through only half the eyelets and retie. Definitely needs to be longer. They look great, though. |

| I ordered these baed on thigh and leg length measurements. If you do that using the size chart, you will be very satisfied. I ordered them about two inches long and leave the bottom two snaps undone. That makes sure they cover my boots and gives a very cool bell-bottom look. The leather is soft, but thck and mine have attractive grain although the grain doesn't match in each panel. The zippers are strong and easy to use. They make cold weather riding much more comfortable. I'm happy with 'em. |

| I did not read the reviews before ordering. I too ordered a size up and found that they do fit really well. A bit snug in the thigh. I don't think I have fat thighs (I am a runner!!). My friend told me they will loosen up, so I am not too worried. I am on the taller side and they still need a little shorting which is nice. | Bought these for me (a man) 'cause there weren't any more of the men's version and these were almost exactly the same fine quality leather and covered zippers, etc. Limited women's size, but the size 16 happened to work fine for my thigh measurements. Easy to cut off to shorten, and the lacing in back can be adjusted to tighten up the waist (plus the many belt holes do the rest). Excellent bargain, soft buffalo leather, comfortable to wear over jeans, and beat everything else out there on the internet! | Cant beat the price! I wear a size 6 jeans, so I bought a size 10 chaps based on the reviews. They were STILL tight at the very top of the thigh so I exchanged for a 12. If you have an athelic build (muscular legs and smaller waist) I would strongly suggest a minimum 2 sizes up. You can lace the back of the waist to make the waist smaller to fit properly. |

| I agree with the other reviews; size runs small so order 2 sizes up (and use the sizing chart!). I usually wear a size 2 and I ordered a size 6 based on thigh measurement and length. They are actually longer than stated, but the unfinished hem at the bottom of the legs enable you to cut them off. Because there are snaps on the bottom portion of the leg, instead of the zipper (which starts mid-calf) it's easy to trim off the leg length. The silky lining starts where the zipper starts and goes up, so again, doesn't interfere w/trimming. The leather is very soft and pliable, not too shiny, slightly pebbly texture and really nice quality. They are well made (hang tag states 'Buffalo' and 'made in Pakistan'), with YKK zippers and substantial snaps. The belt is made to be able to utilize existing belt loops on your jeans. However since I wear ultra low rise jeans, it's a bit of an issue for me, because of the buckle on the chaps then sits above my belt buckle of my jeans. So maybe I don't wear a belt on my jeans? The belt of the chaps sits at my hip bones. I received these within 3 days of placing the order, so I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the item for such a low price. I would highly recommend this item. |

| These are really nice for the money. Cell phone fits perfect in the little pocket on the front. Definitely order at least 1 size up. I usually wear an 8 pants but went with the size chart based on thigh circ. They work great and look great too! |

| These are so great. I went a size larger because I wanted them roomy for riding and they are still a little snug. (Ordered a 12 and I usually wear 10). These are heavy weight and really goodlooking. Love 'em!! |
