Justin G. from Dinuba, CA: |
| Pretty nice gloves, would be best for Summer riding, even here in California. They're stitched well, with a nice selection leather. But the "carbon fiber" is completely faux, just a clear piece of plastic with a piece of gray fabric behind it. I was pretty let down by that. I admit carbon fiber isn't the most choice material for skidding, but would handle impact well. Having it be completely fake and pointless, however, screams cheap, and being that it's such a focal point, I may not keep them. |

| Got these gloves as my first street gloves. I must say nice solid gloves. They provide great protection for the top portion of your hands/forearms. The only complain that I have is that they don't offer any padding for your palms. There is only thin piece of leather, and I suspect it will wear off much faster than the top portion. Also, not a cold weather glove, as it has good ventilation. True size. For the price, I would recommend these gloves. |

They fit well, are comfortable and keep the hands dry; however, they will not keep your hands warm while riding in warm weather. The gauntlets are plenty long though. |

| The gloves are very nice, espicially for the $34.95. They fit perfect, except for the pinky is just i little too big. My major complaint? These gloves are supposed to be black, yes? Mine came in the mail yesterday, and they're red!!! but i don't feel like waiting to re ship them and all that, so i'll just keep them |

The bad part is that there isn't carbon fiber and if it rains, your hand will get really black.

| Very comfortable! Warm through wrist and across the backs of fingers and hand. If you intend to wear them when not riding and in low temperatures (20's farenheit and lower), you may want a light liner to keep your palm swell and fingers warmer. All together a very nice pair of armored gloves. |

| Pretty good pair of gloves. The velcro area on the wrist band could use improvement, but not to the point that id lower a star. The gloves do have an interesting use as well... Beneath the knuckle carbon is a little pocket of sorts. If you have to park in a garage with a key card, its a pretty nice place for it. Saves from having to get into your wallet. Probably not what they had in mind, but it works great! |

| I was on the fence for about a month untill I finally decided to make the purchase. I ordered an XL pair that ended up fitting my hands very nicely. The feel of quality and protection seem to be equal to my buddies $100 a-stars. Why would you pay that much for a pair of gloves?
My main pros are the soft interior feeling that leaves my hands soft and unirritated after a long ride and the knuckle and wrist protection. Venting is also very well.
The only con is that everytime I ride, black dye from the leather gets on my palms and is very difficult to wash off. It does not bother me though |

| I love these gloves! You simply can not beat the quality you're getting for the price! They fit perfect, they're very comfortable. The protection they offer is outstanding. I researched a few other sites before deciding on these. Not only are they practical but they look really cool too. The only thing I would change on them is the clip that holds them together when not in use. It's plastic where I would have used a small Carabiner instead but other than that, I really don't think I could have found better gloves at anywhere near this price. If you're hesitant, go ahead and order them, you'll be glad you did. |

Athan R. from San Diego, CA: |
| I live in San Diego, CA, and while its still hot here in the winter, it gets below freezing during the nights on occasion. I bought these gloves due to the "gauntlet" style of the sleeves, so that air would not go down the sleeves of my jacket while I was on one of the numerous freeways down here. And it works great! More than anything, it keeps my chest and back warm due to the fact that 80MPH freezing air isn't coming into my jacket anymore. The fingers are flexible, and the sizing is right on. I ordered a large, and it fit great. However, my one complaint is that they are advertised as having carbon fiber in them. And while they do have a strong weave of some sort of plastic and fabric over the knuckles and wrists, its definitely not made up of carbon fiber. No doubt it will majorly help in a spill, but I was disappointed when I opened them up and looked at them closely. Besides that, I love these gloves! |

| Gloves fit well but these do not have any carbon fiber caps on them! What they actually have is a layer of Keprotec (a reinforced cordura) covered by light vinyl. While I think they will offer excellent protection, the description is incorrect. Seams in fingertips are a little uncomfortable at first. Would buy again. |

| These fit well and are comfortable. I am happy with the price too. The knuckle guards and the other pieces of "carbon fiber" seem to be just decorations as they are thin and flimsy. But the wrist section dovetails nicely into my jacket. Overall very good for the $$$. |

Ryan H. from COLORADO SPRINGS, CO: |
| I would have to say for the price these are pretty excellent gloves. I have a size 11 hand typically and they fit fine (no problem with a short thumb or anything like that) the construction of the glove is decent. They arent too hot in the warmer weather, but provide good insulation when its chilly outside. The only complaint I have, is that for some reason, my left glove is made from a 'different' type of leather from the palm down. The 'gauntlet' portion from the wrist down is very thin and has almost an 'elastic' property on the left glove, this makes it fit differently. The right glove has the same material. ~ Also, the velcro I can see wearing out over time; they should have put a snap or a zipper there.
Overall I am very pleased and have no major complaints. |

| These are fantastic gloves! I live in Colorado and I would recommend something warmer for anything below 40 degrees. Otherwise, the gloves fit like a glove... Comfortable, functional, good-looking and priced well-below what is available on the retail store side. I did have a problem with a seam coming apart, and Leatherup just sent me another pair, no additional shipping or return costs. I haven't had any problems since the replacement. Leatherup is a great company to deal with, and where customer satisfaction truly has meaning. |

| Just bought & tested these gloves in Santa Fe, NM. At sunset on 11/20/2008, the temp was 31 degrees with a wind chill factor of 21 degrees. According to NOAA's Nat'l Weather Service, riding at 60 mph, the wind chill factor was -4. I used as inserts a pair of green, wool Army gloves. After hwy riding for 40 min, I had to hop off my bike and warn up my hands on the exhaust pipes. Do I recommend these gloves? YES! Would I buy them again? YES. I own 4 pair of gloves and these are the best wind resistant gloves I own. These gloves will perfect for Spring, Summer and Fall. |

| Great fit, its hard for me to find gloves that give me enough room in the thumb area and back of my hand at the base of my thumb. these fit great my hands don't go numb like they have with other gloves. Thanks for previous reviews without them I would not have risked buying online. I felt the sizing chart was very accurate for me. Middle finger is 3 3/8" I ordered medium. Very happy with price and quality. Fitting over my leather jacket sleeve was a little tight but works, my leather jacket is very thick. Hope this helps

Kathryn Hudson from WOOSTER, OH: |
| I spent weeks looking at these gloves, enlarging the views and reading the reviews. They looked so good, but due to the price, I figured the quality would be poor. In addition, for years I’ve had a hard time getting m/c gloves that fit properly. Invariably, the proper size glove has too short and/or too tight thumbs. As a result, my thumbs go to sleep when I ride. I read the one lady’s review where her only complaint was the thumbs being too long and decided to take a chance. The gloves arrived and the quality of material and workmanship is as good as gloves costing FOUR times as much. They are beautiful, comfortable, very well made and fit perfectly. I would recommend these gloves and this company without hesitation to anyone interested in this style of glove. Also, possibly because it’s just before Christmas, but Fed Ex even delivered on Saturday. |

| Great gloves overall. Very high quality and nice features and materials. The only complaint I really have is that the sizing chart for these is a little on the high side. I ordered an XL because I was right in the middle of the XL size range, turns out I should have ordered a L. Also on the same subject, the fingers run long (the thumb is the worst, too long even when holding the grips) despite my just slightly longer than average fingers. Anyway, great gloves! Would have a hard time finding this kind of quality even at higher prices. |
