I too bought mine in 2009 at $24.95, and finally after 7 years of year round riding the Velcro has finally given up. I plan on buying the same exact pair again. Too bad it went up so much :(

David M. from WESTFORD, MA:
Nice-fitting gloves. I haven't put a lot of miles on them, but they wear well, and any tough seams are tamed with a touch of leather conditioner. I appreciate the wrist closure being able to go over or under the jacket. And the customer service people are world-class. In a world that mostly makes one feel ignored at best, snubbed at worst, the LeatherUp staff is like dealing with an old friend: you know there won't be any problem.

Good fit, excellent quality, these gloves provide great protection. I paid $39 for them but it was money well spent. The only down side, in my view is that they were made in Pakistan.

I used the Size Chart and did not draw it tight but snug as if worn and it is an exact fit. Quality is good and I will get plenty of wear out of these gloves, good price, good gloves.

Excellent gloves. It really does keep you warm, to a certain extent, but it's still pretty good in keeping you cool with all the ventilation throughout the glove. The sizing is a little off for me, but that's my own fault, but everything is pretty set. These are a good buy, but I would look for something else if things are too hot or too cold, it doesn't do too well in keeping your hands the right temperature in those extreme temperatures.

Had a slight issue with my first pair. Contected customer service and they sent a replace pair with no hassel. Very nice glove, they fit well and allow good ventilation also.

James F. from WHITE HALL, AR:
They did stretch a bit, so the medium size works for me (I'm between medium and large). The mounting of one of the tensioning brackets tore off, so we re-mounted the Velcro strap and it works ok. I am pleased with the gloves and would buy them again for summer riding.

ALEX A. from WESLACO, TX:
I bought these gloves and they're very comfortable, good leather, and I feel my hands protected with these. I use them in the summer heat of South Texas and they have good air flow.As always, leather up has the best prices and the best quality. I have ordered from leather up for the past 2 years, and all I can say, is I'm a Leatherup customer for life. Great products at a good price! Buy these, you won't be disappointed! Alex-Weslaco, TX

These run kind of small. I was looking for some summer gloves, as my winter ones just don't breathe enough for the warmer months. My other gloves are XL, so I figured XL would be good for these.....nope! I got them today and they were just too tight. A size up would have made the difference. Now I have to mail them back and try again.

Thomas J. from New Orleans, LA:
Very well made, breathes well and looks great. The size I redered is a little tight. Ordered size based on review saying the gloves ran a little on the large size. For the second time I followed reviewers suggestions on sizing options and it came out wrong for me. The gloves are still a great pair of gloves just a little tight.

Very impressive gloves the fit was spot on and I like the slight curve of the fingers they wrap around the throttle and there is no strain on your hands while riding. I received my order very quickly from LeatherUp. Keep up the great work and providing riders with great prices.

These gloves are great for riding. They are well vented and they will keep your hands warm. I wear a large and fit perfectly. The only thing that I find to be bad about is the strap, it just seems weak. However if you're look in for comfortable gloves with a great price these are it.

I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves the fit. The knuckle protection piece is a great size, some stick up too much and are uncomfortable but not the case with these gloves.

I like these gloves a lot. I ordered exactly what the size chart said and I'm glad I did. The leather is perforated so for very cold or wet conditions I will use other gloves but for 95% of riding here in SoCal these will be perfect. The plastic/carbon knuckle guards are stiff at first but after one 2 hr ride the gloves are quite comfortable

Rayce J. from DSRT HOT SPGS, CA:
These are kind of typical China made textiles.... Decent fit, good looking but the details are left wanting. I'm a normal sized guy who wears Large gloves but the velcro strap that goes around the wrist is made for someone with ankles, not wrists. The velcro doesn't line up so I can even use the strap or I have to leave it loose so it worthless. On the plus side, they look pretty good, seem to be well built well amd are a good value for $30. I guess I shouldn't complain...

Chuck T. from Laurinburg, NC:
Very good product. Size chart was a little off for me. I measured Large but should have ordered XL. They are a bit snug, but I'm sure that they will stretch and work fine. The only thing that they could have added would have been more padding on the palm. Over all, you will not find a better glove for the money. I would order this same glove again if needed. Fast delivery from Leatherup.

Teresa M. from SUSQUEHANNA, PA:
I bought these for my husband as a birthday gift. His needed replacing as they had been scraped up. With the old gloves, riding at night and caught in a rainstorm, his hands froze. With the new Xelement gloves, his hands have stayed warm, despite the weather. He thought the knuckle protectors would interfere with his grip. They don't. He loves the feeling of control that he has. ONE drawback. He has wide wrists and the length of the velcro strap closures are a little short, so after he gets the first glove on, it takes him a moment to put the second glove on.

Roger P. from OAK HILL, FL:
I got them today, all the stiching looks very nice, and love the leather, but like all leather you need to break them in alittle, mine is alittle tight around the thumb, but that will be fixed once i wear them more. Overall they are a good looking gloves with alot of protecting. Great buy, I got a medium, the measurements were close so you can follow that when you get your pair.

Ronald R. from Stephens City, VA:
I absolutely love these gloves, I only wish I had ordered them sooner. Very nice fitting for me - a medium size fit as expected. These gloves are also very well made with good quality materials. They are definitely better than I expected for the money. My favorite feature is the extra layer of leather right where you grab the brake/clutch levers. I couldn't believe how comfortable that little feature made my rides.

I found these gloves to be under sized and do not come above my wrist enough to be comfortable. I may have ordered to small "XL", but not going to the hassel of sending them back. I really do not care for them and will not reorder.

Casey W. from LOOGOOTEE, IN:
Must say. I love these gloves. Carbon fiber? I'm a product designer... I have my doubts. lol But for the money, I was expecting something of less looks, quality, and comfort. Seems well thought out, well cunstructed. They are heavier where it counts, light and perferated where safety is of less concern. I trust them to do good work if need be. They breath well and like I said, are very comfortable. Sizing also seems accurate. Would definatly order again. Happy ridding everyone, be safe out there!

These gloves worked great for me. They kept my hands cool when riding you can feel the air moving through. They fit well only issue was strap started coming off after a few months. They did save my hand from being scraped up and broken. I got into an accident and the knuckle protector held up minor dents and scratches on the knuckle protector. A van cut me off and caused me to get into an accident.

When I received I read the reviews and some of them claimed that they ran black dye. I soaked them in cold water and they didn't run so it seams that they have fixed that problem. The fit was comfortable and the quality was nice also. I haven't ridden with them on but they look and feel like they will do the job. Nice Glove!

Nice lightweight summer gloves at a good price. 2 problems with my pair: 1-They stain your hands black!! 2-The velcro wrist adjustment tabs are hard to use. They slip out too easily and are a pain to reattach, especially when you already have the other glove on.
