Joseph P. from Seattle, WA:
Jacket had nice features, fit well etc. but the quality and durability was a real problem. The first time I tossed on a backpack half of the sleeve buttons just pulled right out of the fabric. Most of the things attached to the inner liner (loops and buttons for the other liners) just ripped right out with any sort of tug. After about 6 months the velcro on the wrists were just totally stripped out from daily use. I really liked the jacket for its features but after just a year of wear I need to get a new one because it's just falling apart.

This is a great Jacket. Plenty of pockets to carry phones and other stuff in all different sizes. IT is well ventilated, however the rain/window layer seals great. It is a high viz jacket, I don't see how a rider could be missed wearing this. IT is really reflective. Highly recommend this jacket.

I just barely got the jacket. It fits snug (I usually wear XL and got the XXL). It shipped fast, and so far has been a great jacket for the cold morning commute and the sunny afternoons. I haven't had any problems with it and look forward to using it for a while longer. Great jacket for a great price.

Robert A. from Sedona, AZ:
The heaviest jacket I have worn. Nice looking, excellent workmanship with zippers and snaps everywhere. The quilted liner does not extend into the sleeves. The outer most shell is totally permeable to wind, but even combined with the second liner, my arms are cold. My cycle has a small windshield and no faring so the arms get blown

I really like the jacket. If you could have just one jacket this would be the one. It has three layers and in water proof. Really great jacket.

Thomas L. from ROCHESTER, MN:
This jacket is very nice for the money (and for much more money). It fits well, the snaps could be attached a bit better but that seems to be more related to the mesh shell rather than any other reason. The thermal liner does not go down the sleeves and it would be nice if they did but otherwise neither my wife nor I have any major complaints and I have ordered riding pants to go with the jackets.

Kai b. from STAPLES, MN:
The jacket runs a little small in size. I have never in my life worn anything bigger than a 4xl and I ordered the 5xl which just fits. The zippers are of substandard quality but the rest of the jacket seems well made. The small vest is really useless because it is too small to wear but the waterprof lining and the jacket itself fit. For all you tall guys out there: I am 6'7" and the 5xl is long enough in sleeves and body.

GENE D. from PAGOSA SPGS, CO:
This is a great jacket. I am glad I went with the mesh from my leather jacket. The water proof lining is great and is easily removed. The breathable liner is actually a vest. For me it isn't too much of a concern because when the weather turns cooler I can wear a fleece jacked instead for warmth. The adjustments are great and help to make a nice fit. The only down side is if you have just the mesh top layer on is the velcro parts that you can feel. No irritation but just feels funny. The breathability of the mesh is superb! I do feel the protection on this jacket looks well positioned. I'm glad they are there but hope I don't ever need them, if you know what I mean. The 3 layers seem to be enough til about 45 degrees below that you'll probably want another layer which with this jacket is easy to add underneath. Very bright color which increases visibility from other drivers. It is a NICE jacket for $100 and the water proof liner has protected me so far. Only a light storm that I rode in so. Worse case I suspect the silicon sealant spray for camping would facilitate an increase in water protection. Definitely choose a size up. I wear L shirts and picked up an XL jacket. L would have been a tad small and the XL is a tad big but the adjustments make up the difference. I'll be putting a coat underneath for the cool fall rides.

Incredible, bargain. Well made jacket. Fit and finish is excellent. Like most others I found that ordering a size larger was a good idea. Lots of pockets to store items in. Liners are easily removed, all zippers worked flawlessly. Highly recommended.

Kyle R. from NOOKSACK, WA:
This is my first motorcycle jacket, so I based my purchase off of reviews. The Jacket fits perfect. I can wear a hoodie under it if I need to be a bit warmer. my biggest complaint with it is the adjustable sleeves. when you unsnap to tighten or loosen, there is a good chance the snap will just pull through the mesh instead of unsnapping! rather poor design there. also, the inside liner has sleeves that snap in to the outer shell's sleeves, but I already had one of the snaps rip out when pulling my arm out. I've only had this jacket for a few weeks, and would not go with this design again. cool features, but just some poors design flaws that I hope won't causes issues down the road.

Wilfredo B. from Kissimmee, FL:
At a glance the Jacket looks great however at a closer look I found a few defects and small damages. The stitching on the inner mesh lining has become undone in a few places, teh zipper male portion of the inner winter lining was ripped, and the velcro from the windbreaker gets stuck on the lining and when pulling it off well you can imagine what happens to the mesh lining. these damages are small incomparison to the over all aside from that the jacket has held up to the warm weather. and some what to the cool weather and the rain. over all i like the jacket

Interesting on the wholesale sight from Leatherup the jacket has a list of $159.99 not $349.99. Still a lot of jacket for the money. Heavy but that can be corrected depending on how many items or liners are removed. Fit is ok, I am a large and it fits although a little diificult to put on. Probably a good value for the product.

Just received the jacket. I usually wear size large but I ordered X-large (I'm 6,1' and 185lbs), which I'm glad I did. With just wearing a t-shirt, the X-large jacket just fits with all three layers. Looks nice and sturdy. Just as important, my wife likes it too (for looks). I'll provide another review after riding with it. Only complaint is that one of the metal snaps on the right arm was missing, but I can have it replaced.

Perfect Jacket all around. Price, cut, fit, and materials Jacket arrived just as described. i'm a 38 chest but small fits great. I was introduced to company after seeing and trying on a co workers jacket of different material but was pleasantly surprised that all jackets fit great and are made well. function and fashion forward for every kind of rider. the shipping was abit wonky at first it got lost but finally arrived. I'm very happy and will/would recommend this company and products.

A bit heavy but to be expected with the armor. I bought a 2xl even though i normally wear xl so i could wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. Glad i did. Would be too small otherwise. Comes with removable liners too. Great buy for the price.

This is a nice jacket but it is not for the cold. I bought it for winter riding and was very dissapointed when temp got below 50. The arm area gets cold as there is nothing there to keep you warm, it stops at the vest. I liked the looks of the jacket very nice. This jacket will be ok, but dissapointed in it. The first jacket I ever bought was all clasic leather and its a lot better for what I want. The size I could of maybe got into a 3 xxl I orderd a 4 based on reviews and talking to leatherup. Im 6'3 280 .

Love this jacket. The large fits perfect like I normally wear. I wish the red was a little brighter but it's still very visible. Would buy again for sure. Great jacket for the money spent and the two inner liners (water proof & warm) make jacket great for winter and can be removed for summer.

Great jacket, but it took me 3 tries to get the fit right. I'm 6'3" and 220lbs. My chest is 46 and waist is 40, but the 4XL finally fit right. I love the zip out liners, and in Northwest Florida this time of year the morning starts in the 40's but in the afternoon it's in the 70's, so the zip outs are perfect.

Ronald W. from COLUMBUS, GA:
Size - I take XL in everything I wear - 5'11" 245 lbs.. I ordered XL. With both liners in, this is a snug fit over a light shirt. With both liners removed, perfect fit with room for a light jacket under it. 4Seasons? - I believe it was listed a 4 seasons jacket. Here in GA it is a 3 Season Jacket - Fall, Winter & Spring. Even with both liners removed this is to warm for the GA summer when the sun is up. Well maybe if your cruising, because the mesh does allow for great airflow, but in the stop and go traffic I usually drive with 92 Degree days being common, I was cooking. With it unzipped it was almost tolerable on those hot days. It's because of the protective pads, which are foam which hold the heat in. They are removable but I won't take them out since the protection is why I got it in the first place. Up North (NYS) where I'm originally from this would be a 4 season jacket. I love the gun pocket and all the other storage pockets. I haven't ridden in rain worthy of putting the waterproof liner back in yet. The sleeves for this liner seem a bit short though so couple it with a pair of gloves that will cover your wrists. I look forward to wearing this through the "winter" here. I expect I'll find it to be nice and warm on those few sub 32 degree mornings when I will have the waterproof and the insulating liners in.

I bought the jacket because I liked the features listed, the color, and the price. It arrived earlier than I expected. I've worn it a number of time and I very pleased. The mesh allows great ventilation. It got cool one night and I used the full liner. I was surprised that it actually kept me warm along with blocking the wind. Great jacket, excellent value. I would highly recommend.

Jacket is very heavy due to all the protection features however once it's on dosen't feel heavy. Fit was good but sleeves are 3 inches longer than normal. I'm normal sized 5 foot 10, 200 lbs. Had to have the sleeves shortened 3 inches cost $22.00 so factor that in when you buythis item.

Cory T. from RICHMOND, VA:
I recently purchased two of these jackets. The first was too small and so the second was a replacement. The liners in the first jacket were dirty and the zipper on one side was sewn in backwards. One of the side pockets in the replacement jacket had buttons missing. Geez! I took it around to see if it could fixed and everyone said it was a manufacturer error. The reflective phoslite is also very faint, not highly visible as indicated by the site. My assessment of the jacket overall is good, but watch for these minor details.

Scott D. from Poolesville, MD:
I think I'm really going to like this jacket. I was looking for a jacket that was more visible than my all black jacket that also could be used during the hot & muggy days in DC. But also could be used when it got a little colder in the Autumn. This jacket should fill that need. With the liners out it provides a lot of flow-through ventilation. I've not used it yet during the colder rides, but the rain liner and quilted liner should do the trick. I wear a size 48-50 sports coat and ordered the 4XL. With all the liners in it seems to fit quite well. Without the liners it leaves enough room for ventilation without being overly big.

The Jackets for my wife and are great. The only thing I have to say is the sizes are really off, I never by anything bigger then a 3xl and with this I had to go with a 5xl which is really odd. I wanted more room in the jacket but this will have to do.

Randal G. from Katy, TX:
The jacket is well made and relatively comfortable up to about 85 deg. F. I removed the liner but the high heat and humidity of South Texas results in "hot spots" where the protective padding is located. I removed the protective member from the back and greatly improved the high temperature comfort. The red color is very visible and makes me feel safer when riding on a black and chrome motorcycle. My recommendation is to order a minimum of one size larger than you normally wear as the fit is tight even with the liner removed. I am 5' 8" and 195 lb with a 36 in waist and ordered a Large so that girth contributes some to the snugness.

Richard V. from GENOA, OH:
I seldom rate and review items . I purchased one for my wife and myself, after looking for a long time online and at motorcycle shops. This is worth every penny. I was at first surprised at how heavy they were, even with the inserts removed. Once put on they seem to disappear, except you know by the feel you are protected. I was also surprised at how cool I felt when riding in the warm sun. I only felt overly warm when standing around but a simple unzip fixed that. I also liked being asked where I got it by strangers.

Seems to be fairly well made although the first time I tried to tighten the sleeves one of the snaps pulled right off. Because I was not using that particular button I just let it go. It's dissapointing that the thermal liner is just a vest and has no sleeves. If you want to wear this jacket in colder weather, you would be better off wearing an insullated wind breaker underneith the jacket and forget about the thermal liner because even with both liners left in place, your arms will still get cold. Rode with it in eighty five degree weather also without either liner and the jacket allows a great deal of air in to keep you cool. Overall I am very satisfied with this jacket.

Bought two jackets one for my wife XL and one for myself took everyone's advice and ordered a size larger than we normally wear. Both fit very well with inserts my be a little large with out but we will deal with that when it gets warm. Worn twice and both times we stayed warm which is what we were looking for with room for layer under if it gets colder. Some talk about zippers and yes they are a little hard but all jackets with this many zippers are hard at least all we have owned so no problem for us. Thanks for such a great jacket and at a very nice price.

Michael M. from NACOGDOCHES, TX:
I bought this jacket for protection against the so far non-existant fall and for autumn/winter riding in East Texas. I've only ridden in it twice but have noticed a few things. This jacket fits me perfectly with the thermal liner removed. I am 6'3" & 244lbs and in pretty good shape. With the rain and thermal liners in place it is a little tight while standing up and handling fuel nozzle or stowing junk or tools. That done, the XX jacket feels good when seated on the scoot. The liners come out easily and mine are still out. The zipper is typical hard to operate two way zipper. Cannot complain because EVERY ONE i ever zipped up was difficult. But they are easier after a few zips. The velcro sleeve closures are good and the mesh without any liners was fine for riding down to 55 degrees or so. This one is a keeper. Think about ordering 1 size up.

Karl S. from ORLANDO, FL:
I bought this jacket as a replacement for the black and yellow mesh armored jacket, which was damaged in a high-speed fall. This product is loaded with features and a giant value for its cost. There are more pockets than I can use. The rain liner comes out easily and is comfortable even in much of Orlando's warm weather. It'll be a while before it's cool enough to use the thermal liner, but I'm sure it will be adequate, although I was surprised it's only a vest. There are some cons. It's weight was daunting at first, although I quickly got used to it. The liners seem difficult to take out and re-insert, and the snaps work pretty hard. The sizing is difficult; I sent the large back for an XL. The XL fits me well, but is still not big enough to wear my AirTronics vest under it when the liner(s) are inserted. I feel more confident in my visibility with the bright red color. All in all, I find this an extremely versatile jacket, I value the extra exterior armor, and I'm glad I bought it. By the way, I'm 6'2", weigh 200-210 lbs.

I was very impressed with this jacket from the minute I opened the box. It offers great protection, and even includes removable elbow, shoulder, and back insert pads. There are 2 zip-in liners. With the liners out, the jacket allows airflow through to cool you down while still offering protection. With the liners in, it provides waterproof protection and warmth. I wore this jacket the entire time during a 1,200 mile trip and it was comfortable. Well worth the price! My only gripe is that the main zipper is a little hard to operate, but I find that's typical for those 2 zipper (up/down) coats.

I got the jacket fast!!! Fit is good,I like it, but Im only rating it a 3 due to zipper issues..very hard to get zipper lined up to work properly. I have tried several times for minituets to get it lined up!!! CRAZY..makes me look like a fool and I cant get dressed properly. After three days of riding zipper is now stuck at bottom and jacket cannot open. I must put it on and off like a sweat shirt, over my head. Im going to take it to a local shop and get zipper replaced...

I received my jacket yesterday, as always fast delivery by LeatherUp. This jacket is simply put AWESOME. Rode to work this morning with the temp around 67 degrees with all the liners in. No issues with the chilly weather on the way in and this afternoon when I rode home I removed the liners because temps were in the low 90s. It was a nice ride and the mesh kept me cool. Love the jacket and do not mind the weight. It is heavier than any other jacket I have. Worth the money ao buy it. I had a large jacket and ordered this in large. Perfrct fit.

I just bought my first bike and purchased this jacket for riding protection and greater airflow than leather. I had borrowed a friend's leather jacket to get started and this purchase is more comfortable climate-wise and mobile than the loaner. My only negative is the elbow covers are difficult to get used to and the front zipper is a bit fickle with moving smoothly: I have to fight sometimes to get it to zip up or unzip. I think Leatherup provides good products but I think their sizing charts are subpar. More detail and a schematic would be helpful in assisting with sizing an unfamiliar purchase.

I'm very happy with this jacket. Because I've developed a furniture problem in my old age (my chest fell into my drawers), sizing can be challenging and my other 6 XL jackets are getting snug. This size XL fits me quite well and quality wise it appears to equal my First Gear and Scorpion EXO jackets. I avoid riding in the rain but this jacket has a removable water proof liner as well as a removable quilted liner for cooler weather. This jacket is also a little longer and keeps my plumber's crack covered when I'm leaning a bit forward on my crotch rocket. Very nice jacket...Great Price!
