| I usually wear a 6 & 1/2 to size 7. I read a whole bunch of these reviews before ordering because I don't like going through the return process. After much reading I decided to go down 1/2 a size to a 6 & 1/2. So glad I did!! Thanks reviewers! These boots RUN LARGER. The weird thing is customer service (not too friendly I might add) is rigid with the running "true to size". They do not. Maybe they are afraid of giving the wrong information, but the fact is, customers need to know, to avoid the return process they probably deal with for this item. You'll wind up returning them and wanting to size down. I love these boots and these products on this site are really great for the price. Can't wait to wear them and thanks everyone for your helpful reviews. |

| In love with these boots, will be buying the brown pair soon. I was nervous about buying riding boots online without being able to try them on first. I usually wear around a 9 or 9 1/2. Went with the 9. I have large calves...very large! Which is why I was so apprehensive about buying without trying on. When I got them, they didn't fit around my lower calf, they were bunching at the ankle, which was uncomfortable. Luckily, they're made with nice leather that can be stretched! Now they fit perfectly and they're so comfortable. Walked around all day in them, didn't hurt my feet one bit, felt like I had worn them a hundred times already. Highly Reccommend these boots!!! |

| Loved these boots the from the first moment I pulled them out of the box. The fit was a little loose, but in Alaska with chilly riding, it was perfect for adding a thick pair of socks. I didn't give these boots a full 5 star rating because I waterproofed them the next spring and the leather toe box (actually the whole boot) softened up. Still a great boot, but not as comfortable to shift with and a loss of some of the stability. |

| I absolutely love doing business with LeatherUp! I ordered these boots and they were on my doorstep within a few days! They fit perfect! I use a size Women's size 9 and they are comfortable, not tight. It allows room for me to wear my inserts. The leather is thick and the seams are sturdy: Well made! They are so comfortable and I am able to walk in these boots for a long time. I didn't have to break them in at all. The thick soles and heal will add to the longevity of these boots. They feel very comfortable. Also, I am able to scoot my bike backwards up a slight incline into my garage without having my boots slide from under me. They have good traction. I highly recommend these boots!
I also bought a brown pair of Xelement Women's harness boots. I feel the same way about them, but they do not have good traction. Maybe I need to re-sole them. Afterall, they are 4 years old! The system wouldn't let me add a review on the brown boots; it said I didn't own them and, therefore, couldn't leave a review. Hmmm... |

| I paid $79.90, discount applied, shipping, taxes included. That is a very good price for what I got: leather uppers, non-slip soles, soft and comfortable out of the box. These are easily $150 to $200 boots. I already have brown color Xelement Harness boots which are excellent and I think my new black harness boots should wear well. So, I ordered down a 1/2 size and with one pair of thick crew socks these fit very well, pull on easily. And I have a wide foot, so these boots are not "B" width. I'm 5'7" and the 10 inch uppers come up to the full part of my calf, very comfortable. The squarish heal shape and height are boring not fasionable, these are workboots. Very pleased, recommended. |

| I ordered a pair for myself and a pair for my wife. When the boots arrived mine were fine but my wifes were too big even though the size she ordered was what she usually wears. I would suggest that leatherup put in thier advertisement boots run big. Now that we have the boots replaced we are both very happy with the boots and will purchase from leatherup again as we have purchase quite a few items and have always been pleased with thier products and service. |

| The boots appeared to be fairly well made and solid. Unfortunately, even after ordering a half-size smaller so that the length was accurate this did not make these a good fit :( These boots are very wide in the heel area and if you have even slightly narrow feet they will not fit no matter what size you order. I didnt want to have to wear two pairs of socks with them all the time and sole inserts so had to send them back.
I am very unhappy with the fact that LeatherUp will not cover shipping cost for the return. I will NOT order from this company again due to it costing me nearly $20 just to return these boots when I know they get a discount rate from carriers such as FedEx and it is not necessary to screw the customer in this manner. You also have to pay for shipping when you order the boots so overall my experience with this company has been unsatisfactory. If you dont mind losing $30 for no good reason then you will be fine but I suggest ordering from one of the multiple other footwear companies that offer free shipping, especially on returns if the product is not a good fit/quality/etc. |

| I already had the brown distressed and decided I needed the black, as well. First, there is no way I could wear anything smaller than my normal size. I wear a 9 and I put thin memory foam insoles(I use the 2 oz miracle ons by Profoot that I get at WMart) in some of my shoes. I have insoles in my brown distressed because after wearing them for a few hours, I could tell I'd need them(not so comfy without for me). With the insoles in, they feel great. The brown ones are a lot softer. The tops flop over. These black ones ae rigid and stiffer. I love them both. Xelelment boots are worth every penny, and Leatherup has the best deal on them. |

I've had them a month, and when I got them they fit perfect, they are already stretched enough that I can wear a thick wool sock with them. I wear a size 7 and ordered a size 7, the foot area is big enough to wear extra socks, I am comfortable with only 1 pair, I would not go any smaller unless you have very slim calves. |

| I love these boots! Great quaility. Fit true to size. My foot is more narrow, so I siimply put 2 shoe inserts per boot to fill in the extra space. This also made them very comfy! The toe box is very strong, so shifting does not damage them. I am super impressed with these boots. Have worn them about 30 times and done lots of walking and standing in them. | I recently received my boots that came at an extremely fast delivery time. I absolutely love them. They are super high quality leather and were very comfortable after first putting them on. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in boots, but after reading all the reviews saying they run big, I took a chance and ordered a 7 1/2...they fit perfectly! So I would definitely recommend ordering down a whole or at least a half size. | I just got these gorgeous boots! They are more beautiful than they look in the photos shown here. After reading the reviews and comments about these boots being built big, I was nervous about having ordered my own size, but because I have a larger calf and my foot is a bit wider, I'm glad I ordered my regular size 8. If you have a narrow foot, then I could see going smaller. But this is the right size for me.
The boot is snug on my calves, but not uncomfortably so. The boot moves a bit on the heel, but if I'd have gone smaller it would be far too snug on the toe. With a fall/winter sock, this boot is perfect for me. LOVE THEM!! It's 79 degrees here and I'm walking around my house with them. I don't want to take them off! |

| First I'd like to note that I am between a 7.5 and 8 in all other shoes. because of the reviews I decided to order a 7.5 instead of an 8, i was afraid to go down a full size For me, these boots did not run big at all. they fit my foot exactly and if anything slightly tighter. they look great and the leather quality is fantastic, but think twice before ordering smaller sizes. these boots are slightly more narrow than I would have expected from the pics and reviews. if you have very slender feet, maybe order 1/2 size smaller. I will definately not be able to wear thick socks and may take a few wear to break in, but im excited to wear them. |

I normally wear a 9, and I have a pretty wide foot, so I was worried about going a full size down, but I sure am glad I did! They fit perfectly! They're a bit snug around the widest part of my foot, but since they're leather, I expect they'll give a little after I wear them for a while, in fact, I've been wearing them for a couple of hours and they feel like they've already stretched a bit. There is a slight amount of slipping in the heel, but it's not a big deal at all. These boots are sturdy and well made and practically a steal at this price! |

| I picked up these boots for motorcycle riding. The leather is a great thckness, I feel protected wearing them and don't feel the heat of the engine at all on my ankles and lower calves. I did buy them a half size smaller, and they fit perfect with a sock of normal thickness. If you have wider feet, I would suggest ordering your normal size so you have room in the toe box. They are not very heavy or clunky either, overall a great boot for a fraction of the cost that I would expect for this quality. I plan on buying the brown too, as these boots will look really cool off the bike too in fashionable outfits including long skirts. |

| Had to wait 2 months to get them (out of stock) but worth the wait. Very stylish boots with comfy but very sturdy sole. They look like Frye boots, but don't cost nearly as much. Took the collective advice of many reviewers and bought a smaller size (a 6 instead of my usual 6.5-7), which fit well. My only (minor) complaint is that there are some hard/rough spots on the inside that can cause some skin irritation, but a thicker pair of socks takes care of that, as would more breaking in. If you're jones-ing for a good lookin' pair of leather boots, get 'em; you won't be sorry! |

I usually where a size 8 to 8.5 I ordered an 8 and they fit well with thick socks , just a little slipping on the heal I would not go smaller though. | I love these boots, great price, I ordered them the weekend before Christmas and lo and behold they arrived before Christmas!!! Wonderful quality the only thing to remember is that they do run a little big. I am thinking about ordering another pair a little smaller. Most boots I wear a 10 but I am wearing thermal socks and another pair of socks to make em fit so you might want to order down a size that what you normally wear. Excellent Boots!!!!! |

| I originally purchased the 7" harness boot. The heel is cut more of a slope and I thought I prefered that. When they arrived my usual size 9 boot size seem too big and they just didn't look good or feel good. I then ordered these and Wow! they fit absolutely perfectly, look and feel fabulous!! I like them much, much better. They are so cool. | I got the boots and was impressed by how nice they looked, unfortunately they were too big. I usually take an 8 but after putting on two pairs of socks they were still a little loose, so decided to send back for 1/2 size smaller. I sent back USPS as it seemed to be the cheapest for priority shipping but am having a little trouble on both ends with delivery and confirmation of order. it's now been almost 2 wks and I'm not sure if Leatherup.com received or not. Shipping them back is really expensive, the bad part about ordering online! But I hope I do end up getting them, because they are great quality boots |

| A pretty sharp looking boot. Make sure to go with a half size smaller than you'd normally wear. I bought these for my wife and she normally wears a size 8.5, but due to there not being any laces to tighten up the area around the ankles, the boots tended to feel just a tad big as she walked. So she had to exchange them for an 8. Otherwise, great boot! |
