Steve M. from CHICAGO, IL:
The jacket was just received and initially appears to be good quality product. XL size purchased I am 5' 11" and 195 lbs, fits well. I have purchased other Armored jackets from Leatherup and have mixed reviews. The all season textile is a good and warm jacket. The lighter summer textile jackets are not durable. I purchased this jacket to replace my lighter summer jacket from Leatherup, about a year old and in no falls but the durability is poor. Hoping this is a better quality than previous jacket. Overall the initial purchase looks like a good value.

If you are a larger type fellow that likes beer, or look like you like beer (with a "belt warmer" or "beer belly") and you have done all the measurements according to the size chart. Take that size and order two sizes larger. It will save you from having to send the jacket back to get the correct size. Outside of that however...I LOVE my jacket! On the cool mornings when I travel to work, it keeps the wind and cold out better than any jacket I have ever had. I get compliments everywhere I go on the jackets good look. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Very good quality jacket. I usually wear an xxl but ordered an xxxl fits very well. They do run small so i suggest getting one size bigger. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Paul C. from Titusville, PA:
This is a very nice jacket, but they run super small at least in the XXXL sizes. I bought one a while back and had to send it back. I bought a 4X I can usally squeeze in to a 3X but when it came it wasn't even close. So this time I ordered a 6XL thinking it would be more than big enough. NOPE! could barely get it zipped. It's a very nice coat and I'm going to keep it, I took the back armor out and looses the side straps and I can just zip it, so I'll hit the gym and drop a few pounds and it should fit perfect.

Terry N. from LAWRENCEVILLE, GA:
I have worn the CF-330 for several weeks now, at 5'9" and 155lbs the medium fits perfect! But riding in Atlanta in July it is extremely hot. I do wear Heat Out gear under it and the vents are under sized. It does wear comfortably and has a good riding position for my Buell 1125r. Pairs good with the B4402-Black & B4403-Silver pants which I own both.

Timothy B. from Charlestown, NH:
Sizing is horribly wrong. I typically wear a size 3xl and from other reviews I decided to go a size up from what the chart says, BIG MISTAKE! I put it on and I could barely zip up. I even had a friend who is a few sizes lower than me and he even had a hard time fitting the jacket. The arms can't go up past your chest, and you can hardly move at all (this was mine and my friends experience). Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY this jacket.

Ronald G. from LOWELL, MI:
I live in Mi. so the fall weather is here and cold riding in the mornings and warmer riding in the afternoon . The removable liner is a major plus . The jacket looks as good or better than the ones I was looking at at the cycle stores here in west Mi. the $ was great . But as with alot of the reviews I had to order a couple sizes larger than what I normally would wear if you go off the size chart order one size larger and it should fit . I have had alot of compliments on the looks of my riding gear that I purchased all from Leather-Up . the pants the jacket for myself and the outfit for my wife . Great place to deal with . A big thumbs up !!!

Its a really nice jacket I think. Summer, not so fun unless you really like to sweat. I live in FL so its almost hot year round. The only complaint I have is that the leather shoulders; one of the shoulders was scuffed up. Other than that. I'd buy it!

Boris R. from Jamaica, NY:
I am 5'8, 175 lbs with a 42 inch chest anda big belly. I went with the chart and got a medium. The jacket fit like a straight jacket. The zipper could close, but I could barely put my hands together and the jacket would have been unusable for comfortable riding. I immediately exchanged my medium for an extra large. The new jacket is a little too big, but if I use the removable lning and put a sweater underneath in the fall and winter, the jacket should fit. I love the style, especially putting reflective material in the striping scheme. The padding placement gives me confidence. The only thing that concerned me is the sweat I generate when riding in the summer. Some of my commute is on a highway so I prefer full padding. When I finish a daytime ride, my arms are wet and I am concerned with mildew developing inside the jacket. I have to put towels in the sleeves when I get home to soak up the perspiration from my arms. I can't easily turn the sleeves inside out to air out the jacket.I see now the pads are supposed to be removable so I will try that and turn the sleeves inside out for airing. The zippered vents on the sleeves do give a satisfying flow of fresh air while in motion, though.

Alot of jacket for the money here. I live in Connecticut here and have been riding since about mid-March when the temps were hovering around 35-45 degrees (they have since heated up a bit). With the liner in the jacket kept me warm and even with the wind it doesn't cut through the jacket. I'm 5"7 and 195lbs and ordered an XL and it fit me well. My only issue is the collar is not wide enough for me to fasten the button without choking myself. Other wise I have zero issues with this great jacket.

***PLEASE NOTE*** I didn't read the reviews first or I would have not had the problems I did. GET A SIZE BIGGER! I didn't do this and so had to exchange it for the next size up. On that note, LEATHERUP has an AWESOME, NO HASSLE return/exchange policy. Only took a little longer than a week for the whole process. They are awesome and I will continue to send my fellow riders to their site and I will always come here FIRST! As for the jacket, I was absolutely shocked at the quality of this jacket. This same jacket has been over 150 bucks everywhere else and that is at the MINIMUM!!. The leather on top and the fabric on the bottom makes for a great combination. We have ridden in the colder weather in the mountains and this jacket kept me warm.

I'm 6'1" 180 lbs with a thin athletic build. I wear a 16-34 slim dress shirt, 32" waist pants, and generally a Large in most jackets. After reading other reviews, I ordered the XL in this jacket and it was just plain too big. The shoulders and torso especially were too wide. Go with your gut...if you're like me and you waiver between medium and large in most clothes, then the Large will suit you just fine. Other than this exchange, I'm very satisfied for the price.

I don't know what the rest of these reviewers got in the mail. What i got was a okay looking jacket, cheap "armor" which was just thin pads that don't seem like they could hold up if God forbid i fell off my bike, and if someone can find the "kevlar" in this jacket, it would be much appreciated. There were better jackets for this price range, and i was an idiot to think this one would be some sort of "miracle" jacket that had all the protection they claimed was in it.

Steven B. from Johnson City, TN:
Very nice jacket. As others noted is better looking in reality. Order one size up. I am 5'9" and 195. The XL fits nicely. A little room but not too loose. The collar is too tight when snapped, but I have a muscular neck. No biggie, easy to add another snap. Durability is yet to be determined but seems well made. There is one significant irritation with this jacket. The flap that is intended to keep wind from going through the zipper constantly gets hung up in the zipper going up and even worse going down. Over time I guess I'll get used to keeping a finger in as a guide, maybe. Not enough reason to return it but is an aggravation. Overall, well worth $80.

This jacket looks even better than the photos show. You should order one size larger than you normally wear. With the liner in your regular size would be too snug, with it removed it fits perfectly. The quality was amazing for the price and all the features are exactly as advertised. I would recommend the product and LeatherUp.com to anyone who needs good quality apparel for reasonable prices. The shipping was quick also.

RETURNED for REFUND. Well designed, good-looking jacket. 5'11" 235 lb. long-waisted-with-belly senior male ordered XL and it fit well enough to ride comfortably with the zip-in LINER REMOVED. Fit was acceptable and did NOT warrant a return. REASON(s) FOR RETURN: (1) Waist adjustment loop STRAPS on both bottom left and right sides SEPARATED from their sewn attachment points when firmly tugged on to make adjustment. (2) Main front ZIPPER was prone to JAMMING with light-weight material underneath. I'm sorry about this.

Kim L. from SODDY DAISY, TN:
The jacket is a great buy for the price. The padding and safety items are top quality. Zippers and Velcro hold their own against other similar jackets that cost much more. The only problem I see is in the sizing chart. I called the customer service line and asked if the jackets ran true to size and was told they did. I ordered a 2xl and when it arrived it was too small. I had to reorder it in 4xl. It is great and I am glad I purchased it. Sizing mix-ups can be compensated for. Buy one today.

As with other reviewers, order one size up. Fit and finish on this 3 season jacket is superb for the price. The straps for the eblow pads pinch a little and the vents dont do much to cool you off, but for a great looking, durable, protective jacket under $100 with leather trim, you cant go wrong!!

This is my second purchase of this jacket. It is a fantastic 3 season jacket. I would not recommend this for summer time as the vents do not keep you cool. I used this jacket in 36 degree Fahrenheit and was toasty warm. Be careful when ordering by size. At 5'11 and 254 lbs, I went from a 2x to a 3x and did not notice that much of a difference.

Awesome jacket! After reading reviews, I attempted to change the order and go with one size larger as that seemed to be the norm according to reviews. I was not able to change the order in time and the jacket was in fact too small. EVERYTHING I buy is in an XL size and this jacket is just way too small for me. Currently waiting on a replacment in 2XL but the jacket seems to be great!

I have been wearing this jacket for a few weeks now. It is comfortable, fits well (ordered 2 sizes up), and well made of quality materials. It seems to be durable and looks good. With the liner removed it is comfortable to wear in warm weather while riding, southeast Missouri is hot and humid in the summer.

Jason K. from DRUMMOND IS, MI:
I am in the process of returning it. It is a beautiful jacket, great color, look, and feel to it. The deal breaker was the zipper was constantly getting stuck when going up or down. It most often was binding up on the interior fabric which is likely there as a rain/water barrier. I was going to live with it because the jacket is nice, but it will continually be a hassle every time i ride. I dont need that frustration. I am 6'2" tall, and 190 = XL fit me perfect The sleeves seemed 2 inches short when my arms were up in a riding position. I have long arms. I did not like the look of the sewn in elbow pads. I think it is a great jacket, just has a design flaw in the zipper area. I did not ride with the jacket, so take my review only as general info.

I'm a medium (not overweight) and a large fits best. Nice jacket but the zippers are eternally getting stuck. Insulation is good and works well for cooler weather. With the liner out does well up to about 85 degrees (then the mesh jackets are better). I do like this jacket inspite of the zippers.

Edmund E. from NEW MILFORD, NJ:
I've worn this only once and I am very happy with my purchase. The quality overall is much more than the whay I paid for, especially the leather part of the jacket. Part of my decision to buy this is the exterior adjustable elbow kevlar protection. I pull the velcro strap and it's in place, not sliding at all. I just have to remember to loosen it when I take the jacket off. Ventilation is not as good as I had hope for, but that too was in an earlier review. This is OK with me as I intend to use this mostly during the fall and if weather permits in the winter months as well. I tried it with the insulated lining of my ski jacket and it's perfect. I am 5'10" 205 lbs and I got an XXL. I've bought a few items from leatherup.com and so far everything is great. Keep it up.

Glad I read reviews. Just got the jacket and except for some missed stitching on the inside pocket, it is a great buy. I normally wear a Large and based on the reviews, I ordered an XL and it is a perfect fit. The jacket actually looks better than in the ad. The back pad is a bit uncomfortable w/o the quilted liner. I may not have found the secret yet, but the back pad is not easily removable. There is only a small opening at the top and it doesn't look easy to remove the pad. That is the only thing keeping me from goingthis jacket a 5 star. For the price, itisa great buy!

I normally wear a Medium, but based on recomendations I ordered a Large. Large was the correct size. Nice construction, good fit, good style. Jacket is WARM with the liner, i suggest taking that out for summer rides. Chest vents work OK, would have gotten a 5 star rating if there were vents in the rear too. Looking forward to fall, where this jacket will really preform well.

I would normally wear a Medium, but Large fits perfectly. I'm 6'1'', 175 pounds. Jacket works well and is a bargain for the money. Venting could be better, but if you're moving it's adequate. I haven't had to ride in the rain, so I have no comment on how water proof it is. The fit is much better than some other armored jackets I've tried and it looks good on. I especially like the elbow straps which really are very comfortable while riding. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket!

Jacket is good the spine armor I think is a bit soft, foam pad. I don't think you could put a stiff spine brace in the pocket. The jacket is heavier then I was hoping for. I'm going to keep it for colder riding.

David S. from NORTHAMPTON, PA:
I've had the jacket for about a Year and a half now. I use it nearly all year round(I do ride all year round). It's a great jacket but the vents don't seem to do a whole lot. As far as keeping you warm, it does that extremely well. I ride in sub freezing temps with just a long sleeve shirt underneath and still stay warm. I ride daily to work, as long as it's not raining or snowing, and it has held up well. I have noticed a small amount of wear in the quilted liner(some fraying) but considering the use I would expect this from a jacket that's been worn nearly everyday for a year. When temps get above 80 it doesn't quite keep me cool but hey how much can you ask of a jacket. I would definitely buy one again. The armor seems to be in the right place and there is plenty of adjustment available to get a nice fit. I too ordered a size up and it's a little roomier than I'd like but I can (but rarely do) fit a sweatshirt inside the jacket for near zero F* days. Velcro on sleeves is holding up excellently(used nearly every time I wear the jacket). Zipper can be a little fussy but that's common in this price range and it still works fine 90% of the time. One nice extra is it's fairly water resistant. I wore the jacket on a hundred mile ride in the rain last week and got wet only a little and that was in the area of the front zipper vents(not sure I closed them soon enough). It rained for about half the fide and even stood up to 100mph in the rain(part of the ride was on the track). It's a great jacket and I was thinking of buying a second for when I wear this one out but I'm now sure they won't still be available for that much longer. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the wearing of the liner and the finiky zipper. At this price point you'll have a hard time finding anything even close to this jacket outside Leatherup.

Great jacket at a great price.I took everybodys advice and ordered one size up (2X0 but the chest was tight and the arms too short,so I returned it and got a 3X and it fits perfect.Had no problems with returning it,great customer service. Bill from Schoharie,NY
