| I live in Northern New York, and I already had to take the liner out of the jacket. It is warm, comfortable, and true to size. I just started riding, and I took the jacket in to work to show my buddies, and they could not believe how much I paid for it. If you are looking for a good jacket, you can stop looking right here, you found it. |

M. Edwin V. from AUBURN, AL: |
| This jacket was the perfect solution to my needs. I was looking for an armored jacket with some reflective material. This jacket has both. The armor is well placed and is comfortable and the reflective strip is long (running across the chest and back and down the arms) and highly reflective. The Velcro, for cinching down the elbow armor and tightening up the lower part of the jacket, work well (easy to manipulate while wearing gloves) and don’t restrict movement or bind in the elbows. As others have stated, this is a warm jacket. I have only used it in 50-60 degree weather, but I have only ever worn a t-shirt under it and it can still get a bit warm, if the sun is out. The pocket that is available just inside the zipper on the left-hand side is handy (my phone usually ends up in it). I do wish that the collar was less bulky, but it isn’t a major concern. This jacket was a really good deal and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another, should I need one.
As for the fit, I went with what everybody else recommended and went a size up. I’m about 5’ 9” and 160lbs. so I went with the large. It fits well through the shoulders and torso, but the sleeves were slightly long. However, the Velcro wrist adjustment allows me to tighten them down just enough to keep them from sliding down on my hand. |

JIMMY S. from AMELIA, VA: |
| Exactly what I wanted. Very nice and SHARP LOOKING jacket. The collar sticks up in the back just enough to seal out cold air when riding at night with fullface helmet, Extra few inches on the tail of jacket serves the same purpose. I am 5" 8' 185lbs, ordred a large. Fits excellent in the RIDING POSITION. A little tight when moving around. I wear XL in most jackets. could have returned but jacket fits and seals so well when riding. No flapping or unwanted air coming in.
I like to ride when its cold. If more movemant is desired, order up 1 size. |

| Delivery was quick. The jacket looks good and fits great. Do not put in the liner unless it is less than 60 degrees F. The ventilation helps some but this is a very warm jacket. The armor is very good. I practice a lot of tight maneuvers and the armor sure saves the elbows. :-) |

Anela S. from LAS VEGAS, NV: |
| I ordered this jacket for my boyfriend. It had all the specs he was looking for. I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a size up. My boyfriend loved the jacket, great look and quality. It fit well EXCEPT under the arms and through the chest area. When he raised his arms in a natural riding position, the seams in the underarm felt tight or restrictive. I was wondering if anyone else encountered this problem. My boyfriend is a little stocky, 5'10 220 lbs. Broad chest and big arms. I ordered a 2XL and am afraid if I exchange it for 3XL, the rest of the jacket will be too big. Will exchange for a different jacket. Other than the inconsistent fit, I'd rate this jacket 5 stars. |

| I'm 5'8" and 165lbs (42" chest and 34" waist) and ordered a Large. I love the jacket (construction, design details, etc.) but the size chart is totally off. I probably should have gotten an XL, as the waist is pretty small, but I'm sticking with the Large, as I think it will give a little over time. Great jacket for the price. |

| Nice jacket at a great price for what you get. The added elbow kevlar is a bonus. I also have a pair of the Xelement pants that zip to the jacket which keep it from riding up. The velcro adjustments are abundant and allow you to cinch the jacket up at your wrists (plus zippers at the wrists), elbow and waist keeping it nicely snug all around. It gets a little warm at temps over 85, but not too bad and has several zippered vents and rear exhaust that work well. I've ridden in temps just below 50 without the liner and I'm still warm. I purchased the medium. I'm 5'10, 150lb 41" chest, 30" waist and the M fits very well. |

| I owned an earlier version (2007) of this jacket and that one wore well but it started to show its age. This jacket is better made and looks good. I did have to buy an XL vs the older jacket's Lg size. The bottom of the zipper is difficult to engage but this is the only complaint I have. This is the best jacket for the money around. |

| This jacket is great. No one guesses what I paid for it. They usually guess 2-3 times what I paid. Just used today. The sun is out but it was a little chilly and windy. I was very comfortable. I'm a female, 5'5" 130 lbs. I ordered a medium and it's just the size I wanted. I have room to add more clothing under if I need to. The zippers gets hung-up by the material once in a while but over all this was a great purchase. Jen, Chicago |

| I bought this over other Xelement jackets because of the BRIGHT reflective strip across the back, and I have not been disappointed! Safety is the main reason for buying any riding gear, and this jacket has many features that will cost you in other jackets.
The level of padding in this jacket is great. The elbow pads are pretty stiff, but I would rather have that than flimsy ones that don't protect in the event of a crash.
The ventilation is ok in this jacket, but it does stay pretty warm. I have stopped wearing it during the summer months for all but long highway rides. Also, if you have the vents all open you get somewhat of a sail effect, which makes your ride a little tougher.
Overall I would highly recommend. |

| Just to let you know (because of other reviews), I'm 5'9", 210 lbs, waist ~40-42, chest ~42. Jacket size XL a little snug around the bottom of jacket (with side elastic streched almost all the way out). Returning for a 2XL. I had measured everything. The same brand, Xelement, boots & gloves fit exactly right, & Xelement pants, OK /slightly loose. This Xelement jacket, however, had to be sized up, from a L/XL/40-42, to a 2XL, in my case. If you're not real trim (i.e. some spare tire) around waist, I'd bet on 2 sizes up from the size based on your chest measurement. |

| Have worn this jacket a little over two weeks now with the zip out liner removed. I'm a a big guy (6'4" 250#) and ordered the 3X size. Jacket fits well and the zippered vents provide plenty of air circulation to keep you cool in the heat.
Being a new rider , I like the armor built into the jacket . You can't beat this jacket for the price. The collar snap is the only part of the jacket that is hard to get snapped. Tried some snap lube but didn't really help. Hoping it just needs broke in. Overall 5 stars. Shipping was fast and arrived on schedule. Will order from Leatherup again in the future. |

| I'm 5'11 180 lbs, large fit perfect. Pictures don't do it justice. It has been HOT in Fontana CA, 80-97 F, perfect to test the two front zipper vents and large rear vent with inner jacket liner removed, works great at speed and as long I wasn't stopped to long. Pretty much what I expected, since it's a jacket being warn on a hot day! Vents work great! Hopefully I won't have to make use of the armor, but I am glad it's there. The zippers are easy to work wearing gloves and pokets are more than enough room for wallet, keys , large smart phone ... etc. The fabric and build quality is good, you would expect to pay a lot more for this jacket. |

| New rider- this jacket is not to make a fashion statement, it's all about protection. At 1 size up, the fit is good albeit just a little stiff in the shoulders coming out of the box; but that's probably the Kevlar and my inexperience. Don't know how time will change this. But I do appreciate the design details, and all the Kevlar. At the price, very good purchase. Might bump to 5 star once I''ve got some miles with it. |

It stands out much better than my black leather jacket did, and it's much lighter in weight. My wife even liked it. |

I ordered a 5xl, I am 6'0" 340 lbs with a 50-52" inch waist and a bigger belly. I'm sure it wouldnt kill me to lose a bit but these jackets definately run small, as I can normally wear about anything in 4x. |

| I purchased this jacket as my first real riding jacket, it has yet to fail to impress me. I ordered the large size, being 5'10" at 155lbs, it fits perfectly and feels great. I have riden with it in temperatures down to 50 degrees and up to the low 90s its kept me comfortable throughout my entire ownership (without the liner) and couldnt be happier. At this price I couldnt believe the quality of the materials with only the zipper having room for minor improvement. You have to see it in person to appreciate its looks, I'm constantly getting compliments on its appearance. |

| This is a seriously nice jacket! Aside from being a visually good looking jacket it's reasonably lightweight and you still feel adequately protected while riding. The jacket is very comfortable and with the liner in, it kept me warm when the late evening temp dipped down to the low 40's - and I just had a t-shirt on underneath. I got a XL, I'm 6' 1" - 180 lbs - long torso and long arms - a little baggy in the torso but the arm length is perfect and there is plenty of room for more layers.
The only two complaints I have are, it's not totally waterproof/water resistant and I wish it had more inside pockets... but the pros definitely outweight the cons and I'm very pleased with this purchase. |

| i am 6'2" 210lbs, ordered the XXL and it seems to fit pretty good. my normal jacket size is L-XL depending on the brand. neck is a little tight and the arms get tight when wearing multiple layers underneath, but it is sure to fit very nicely in summer. with a long sleeve shirt quilted/long john style shirt, i stay very warm around town, but i don't think it would do great at extended highway speeds when the temp is below freezing (not that it was marketed as a winter jacket but it seems to do ok). overall i am happy with the jacket and very happy with the price. my main complaint is the plastic zippers which feel like the price, cheap. i am trying to be gentle with them and hope to get this jacket to last a good while. |

it's warm ,light and looks good. my chest is 48" I order xl-48-50 it fet great. |

| This is an excellent product. So far I have only ridden with it in cold weather--45 and below--and I have not been disappointed with the jacket's ability to keep me warm. Like others, I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and the jacket is a perfect fit, even if I wear a feather vest underneath. Construction and styling is superb and pocket storage is more than adequate. I have not yet experienced summer temperatures wearing the jacket but I am sure the removable liner, venting options, and the front zipper itself will allow for cooling air flow. I intend to order another jacket like this for my wife. |

| I received this jacket for Christmas. The large was a good fit. I am more of a medium size but always get coats in large. The armor seems well placed and maintains it position well. Just took a ride with temperature in low 20's and was quite comfortable. |

| This is a very nice jacket. Its construction is solid, good stitching and it looks great. It does fit smaller than the size chart, I ordered one size up as most reviews recommend and it fits great. The liner is pretty thin, though. It is good to about 40 degrees F but below that, you'll need a heavy base layer. I expect it will be perfect for spring/fall and without the liner (due to the vents) good in summer, too. I noticed the zippers sort of stuck the first couple times I used them, but seemed to free up after a couple tries. The armor feels good, except maybe not as solid on the spine as i'd hoped. The outer elbow Kevlar is excellent. This jacket is totally worth the price, and a great value. |

Eric C. from SANTA CLARITA, CA: |
| This is the first motorcycle jacket I've purchased. All in all, it is a VERY GOOD jacket for the price. However, had I had more knowledge of these type of jackets, I think I would have opted for a different one.
My main complaint is about the superfluous pads sewn into the leather shoulders of the jacket... I don't think they'll add much protection from a fall or impact, and they are just plain too bulky where it's not necessary. All the armor is in the right place and will probably suffice just fine w/o the added pads I just mentioned. The zip out liner does a LOT for added insulation against the cold BUT is ITCHY due to the type of insulation that was chosen that manages to find its way thru the fabric, your clothing and to your skin (a little cheap in the use of materials there!). The other thing that stands out in cold weather is leakage in the upper arms where the different color panels are sewn together (my best guess, at least).
The "Item Details" mention "Gel foam padding on front, back and sleeves"...beware!... there is none, nada, zip padding in the FRONT of this jacket whatsoever! So, if that matters to you, buyer beware! Without the liner, the front is merely a windbreaker (but does the job, nonetheless!).
Pro's: Warm, beefy, armored, apparently tuff, worth the price and looks pretty cool!
Cons: Unnecessarily bulky & ITCHY! |

| Great jacket. Good visibility, fit, and protection. Between the removable liner and front/back vents it's good for a wide range of temperatures. My only complaint is that the zipper is the worst zipper I've ever had on any clothing. It gets stuck about 1/2 the time. Other than that, this is a 5 star jacket (especially for the price!) |

It's comfortable, it doesn't feel bulky. Looks great, I was a little hesitant to buy it but the pictures don't do it justice. I give it four stars just bc if I remove the liner I lose a lot of pockets. Other than that this jacket rocks. |

| I really liked the looks of this jacket when it arrived. I do think that the size chart is off just a bit. I ordered two sizes larger than I normally wear and it was still a little snug, but at the same time comfortable. I have take a short ride or two in different weather conditions and this jacket does not seem to get too hot on warm days and it kept me warm on the cooler day. Since this is my first riding jacket, I must say with all the adjustments and vents I prefer it over any regular jacket that one might wear. |

| Ordered XL and had to return for 2XL (5'9", 230lb) mostly because I have thick chest/shoulder area and it was tooooo tight through there. 2xl is perfect. Exchange was extremely easy and hassle free. Took out with Valkyrie w/no shield on a cool morning and was plenty warm even at highway speeds and direct air. On way home it warmed up by afternoon so I opened the vents and again was very comfortable even at speeds from the big 6 banger I shall not reveal here. Only minor issue I had is the stitching on the velcro on one sleeve is coming out; minor repair. Heavier stitching may remedy this. Overall, awesome jacket for the price and I am completely sold on Leatherup.com; great customer service and prices. |

| I bought this jacket for for a three day trip which saw temperatures between 45 and 80 degrees. it performed well in the colder weather but had to open the front zipper in the warmer air. The sizing chart worked for me although I wished the jacket was just a little longer. Fortunately I did not have the opportunity to test the armor but the jacket does seem to be built very well. Overall I would say this jacket is an excellent value. |

| Very nice jacket, wife says I look cool in it with my black helmet, so that's a plus! Got it a month ago, took out the liner for summer riding and it doesn't feel too hot at all when moving. In cooler mornings (about 60 F), the jacket is perfect on the road, wind doesn't get in anywhere (need to tighten the cuffs on the sleeves). It is a bit heavy with the armor, but it just makes me feel mentally safer. I usually wear Medium sizes (5'11", 160 lbs), but the Large fits well; the Medium would have probably also fit, but would have been more of a tighter "European" fit, so it all depends what look you like. The Large does not flap in the wind, so it's probably safe to go a size bigger. |

| Great Jacket for the money. I just bought my bike and as I was driving it home i got hit by the mother of all rainstorms. I was running up the interstate in this jacket and couldn't pull over under an overpass because all the spots were taken by cars. Torrential downpour and I just kept riding. The jacket held up well. I wasn't completely dry but I am very impressed with the amount of weather resistance this jacket offered. I will agree that its a hot ride in 90+ weather but thats to be expected. Great armor and the vents work pretty good for when you are moving. Can't wait till the weather cools off and I can try the liner. 4 stars from me just because it is so hot in the hot weather. |

Travis T. from NORTH POLE, AK: |
| I've owned this jacket for a year and it's "okay." It's definitely got a lot of features, good armor (although the back padding is thin), nice reflective stripes, decent number of pockets, etc. Where it fails is in the quality. When I first got mine the first bug I found was the left pocket liner was sewn upside down. I figured, "okay, no biggy." From there, the jacket's little quirks have just gotten more and more annoying. The snaps on the sleeves never hold, they pop off at 60mph. The zippers love to get stuck or snag. Up or down, doesn't matter, they'll get hung up either way. The overall fit is poor - unless you've got a big tummy you're going to look dumpy around the midsection - there's no adjustment. The tri-tex fabric feels thin, and the leather isn't that thick either.
With all that said, I did wear it for a year, and it's gotten me this far. I'd say if you ride casually or are looking for a decent "starter" jacket, then this isn't bad. If you ride more than that though, look elsewhere. |

| Been wearing this jacket since March '09 and am very pleased with its looks and performance. With the liner in I ride 20 miles (one way) to work in temperatures as low as 30F and it keeps me comfortable (can't say the same for any of the gloves I have tried, but that's not what this review is about). Remove the liner and open the vents and it is comfortable up into the 80's and even the low 90s (as long as you can keep rolling). I'm 6 ft and 185 lbs and the XL fits me well. |

| I am 5'10, 275lbs (yes, mostly gut) and based on the recommendations of other comments ordered a 5x. I usually wear a 3x tee-shirt.
The arms were a little bit long so the elbows were off a bit. The Velcro straps fixed this issue though. Waist was on the tight side of OK. (Velcro and elastic compensate well.)
Overall I really like the jacket. The cuffs, elbows and waist all have Velcro so you can tighten or widen to suit you. It is light weight and very reflective.
I have not had to test the armor or Kevlar so cannot say how well they work, but they are not overly bulky.
As stated over and over, buy a size or two larger unless you have short arms. |

| Excellent for the money! Had some trouble with the linner coming out when I take it off- I had some layers of other clothes on, which may have caused that. Haven't been cold. But haven't yet left off the layers, and with springtime around the corner I will be feel more comfortable with leaving the layers off. The zipper, sometimes is difficult to get going but is a minor problem. It seems to have lots of protection in the right area and God willing I will never have to test. Recommended. |

| After several years of not having a motorcycle...I am finally on the road again. So this is the first real motorcycle jacket I have ever owned. Figuring out the correct size for this jacket was the hardest thing to do. Based on several reviews here...some were saying you needed to get the next size up than you usually get....others were saying the normal size you got worked fine. What decided it for me was the one review which said basically " if your belly is not bigger than your chest than go by the size chart"..lol. Since I am a fit an active guy I went by the size chart. That worked out fine for me. I gave it only 4 stars because I don't care for the adjustable straps on the elbows. Why did I get it than? Well I thought I could take those off. If I could I would give this jacket 4.5 stars because the straps are really only a minor issue for me. This is an early review as I have not had a chance to really test it out yet. But definitely looks promising! |

| I read many of the reviews prior to my purchase. I took their advice and went one size larger, I probably could have gone two sizes up and still been good. The zipper probelem is easily fixed by trimming away the excess material at the bottom of the zipper and then using a lighter to clean up the rough edges. This jacket is very functional and much easier to store in my saddle bags than my big, heavy leather jacket. For the price you can't go wrong with this purchase. |

| Just got mine in the mail today. Looks great, seems sturdy and the attention to detail, like the liner attaching firmly using both the zipper and snaps at both the shoulder and cuffs is great. I'm writing mostly on the size issue. I followed the advice of many, but not all, reviewers and went a size up. Great fit and necessary with the liner. at 5'10" 200lbs and fairly broad shoudlers, the XXL seems just right although the Chart would have put me in XL. |

| Ok the Jacket gets 5 stars, Its warm in the cold and the removable liner makes it nice in warmer weather. Its made great and compares to soo many of the jackets I found in a local Harley shop which cost $499 for basically same thing.
I rate shipping from fedex 2 stars. It took them 3 days from the time leatherup sent info for them to pick up my order and then 5 more days to deliver. Out of that same order one of the items was shipped by UPS which was picked up same day and delivered within 3 days. So UPS 5 stars FedEx 2... try to get it all ups if you can. |

I did order one size larger as many recommend and it fits perfectly. I'm very impressed with LeatherUp and will definetly be ordering from them again and recommending to my friends. | Got the jacket in perfect condition, and very quickly. Seems like it's very well made, and at the price, was an incredible bargain! I'm 6'2" and a svelte 320 lbs, I ordered a 5XL and it fits fine. It's a bit snug around my rather ample belly - but every jacket I've tried on has this problem.... Maybe it's me???
Love the jacket - and will definitely buy from LeatherUp again!
(I gotta lose a few pounds - like 50 - and this jacket will be perfect!) |

| Should be a 4 star. I clicked the wrong one. Anyway I gave it a four because of 1 the size was to small for me. Had to order a larger one. Normally I wear a 3xl so that was my first order luckily my gf wanted it so I gave it to her. I next ordered a 6xl the fit is good all around except for 2 the jackets are cut for a short torso im amost 6' 3" so its a little short but I can deal with it. Other than that no complaints. The armor isn't noticeable or constricting while wearing so that's a big plus for me. The materials seem to be of good quality with strong stitching. Shipping was fast and costumer service was helpful with all my questions. |

| Received my jacket last week. I am 6' and 200" and the XL fits perfect. Just enough room for a light sweatshirt underneath if it is needed. First day I wore this jacket it was 70 degrees so I took out the lining. Wearing the jacket with just a t-shirt underneath was perfect. The next morning it was 45 degrees and the jacket was plenty warm with the liner in. Overall quality is great. The leather in the shoulder area is supple and not cheap looking. With all the padding it is a little stiff, but it is no hinderence when riding. Glad I bought this jacket. |

| Great jacket! Ordered a size larger than what I normally would per the other reviews, and it fits perfect. I can't put the jacket on in the house with the liner in it because I start sweating even before it gets zipped up. Great jacket for the cold weather. Couldn't feel anything cold during my ride in 30 degree weather (should have got pants to match). I'm excited to take the liner out and open up the vents for the summer as this jacket looks good also. The silver strip does exactly what it is supposed to do...helps those cagers to notice you. I have nothing negative to say about the jacket. Great piece of equipment for a great price. I would buy again. |

| My first motorcycle jacket. I am pleased with the fit, 5'9'' 215. and a XXL fits. I would have like to try a XL but it was not worth the shipping and return fees to try on another jacket. Sizing is hit and miss as I have found nothing that runs true to size. I got a sort-of hit with this size. |

| Very nice jacket; looks great, feels very warm in winter, & the padding in sleeves, back & shoulders are great for feeling protected. The reflective stripe [shown as a light grey] is great for me because I always worry about being seen at night. The sleeve ends have a very simple & nice velcro/zipper opening that is easy to fit around your gloves. The pockets are in great places & the jacket feels very comfortable. Zipper may give a little trouble at first, but once you put it on a few times, you get the feel for how it goes & there is no trouble at all. This was by far the nicest product I purchased off of Leatherup.com. Great buy for any rider. |

| Having just survived a collision with a deer in this jacket I will have to give it a 4 out of 5 stars, Functionally this jacket did its job, it protected me during a crash from would have been very bad injuries. that said it did NOT protect me as well as it could have if the designers had made very minor changes, the jacket fits nicely but the sleeve cuffs will still slide on you and combine that with the straps on the arms only have one adjustment setting means the armor can slide on you during a slide as it did on me, the armor did absorb the impact with the road but my 40 foot slide did wear througgh the jacket albeit not very badly, road rash was a dime size rash on my elbow, an elbow that would have not been damage if those arm straps were a little more adjustable.
The only minor issue with this jacket is the zipper likes to eat the lining if you are not careful when zipping otherwise, for the money this is a very good jacket, I am not sure if I will replace it with the same model, looking around the evaluate other jackets' arm protection first. |

| Just got this and it is a very nice jacket. I ordered a size larger after reading the other reviews and the 2XL wasn't even big enough for my broad shoulders so I had to exchange it for a 3XL. I am 6' tall 260 lbs. and the 3XL is still a little tight in the shoulders when I put my hands in the pockets with the liner in. But for riding it's perfect. |

| Such a great jacket for the price. Feels & fits great. Warm. I am pretty small (5' 9" and 140 pounds) and ordered the small... which turned out to be just a bit too small, it fit but was short at the waist and in the arms, so I am awaiting a medium in the mail, which should be a great jacket that I'll own for a long time. Zipper does seem to get stuck sometimes, just gotta go slow, no biggie. LeatherUp processed exchange quickly, thanks! |

| I"m a new motorcycle rider, and don't have tons of money to spend on the latest brand name stuff that costs hundreds of dollars more, but I like to get a good value for what I do buy. Reading all the reviews of this jacket, 386 people can't be wrong, so I took a chance and bought this jacket.
Just unboxed it and put it on for a test fit, and my first impressions are that it's a very high quality jacket. Im 5ft, 8in....240 lbs. The 2x fits me just right. I was afraid the arms would be too long, but they are about perfect. The jacket length comes to my waistline. I can't find a stitch out of place, everything feels very well made. I love all the adjustable closures, the quality of the leather is real leather, the armor feels like it will definitely help in a crash, not that I hope to find out!
In short, I don't think for 70 bucks you can find a better quality jacket with all the features this has...I'd pay the retail price, it easily seems like a more expensive jacket.
Definitely will be buying from LeatherUp again! |

| This jacket is pretty cool for the price. SIZE IS WEIRD. I normally wear a 3XL or 4XL shirt, but I ordered this jacket in a 5XL and it's REALLY snug. Also, the the way the sleeves are cut is a little odd under the armpit, if I left my arms, it lifts the whole jacket up my body. The reflective strip is really nice, but I wish there was even more. For the price though, it's pretty good. |

Haven't tried the armour yet, and really don't plan on it, but if I do it looks substantial. Back amour is very supportive, and the fitting sleeves, waist add secure feeling as well. |

Have not worn it riding yet since it's 96 in ATL right now with a heat index up to 106 - and very humid - but will post again once I wear it on the bike. But the workmanship looks and feels great and you have great movement in the jacket. Leather Up is awesome! |

| I ordered the Large as my jacket size is 42L. It fit a little snug. If I was going for style rather than comfort, I would have stayed with the large; however 1000 miles around the state of Michigan in the future proved I needed to go for comfort. I am 6' and 183 pounds wet. My shirt size is 16.5 neck and 35-36 sleeve length. The large was just a bit short on the sleeve length but too snug in the shoulders. In the end, I exchanged and got one size larger...unless you want to look good rather than be comfortable. The exchange process was a little slower than I would have liked but all in all...satisfied! |

I have tried on quite a few different styles and brands of jackets at motorcycle shops but could not find anything that felt as durable for the money. I ordered one size up and got a perfect fit. I haven't owned it long enough to ride in cold weather but am looking forward to trying it. I am happy with the jacket and would like to thank Leatherup for a worry free transaction. I was concerned at first about buying online but Leatherup was great to deal with. |

| The jacket is great. I wore this without the liner for a summer day ride. It was 90 and humid. The vent system works great. I followed evryone's advise about the size up, and they were right on.
In regards to customer service with Leather Up, well its horrible. I called twice in regards to shipping question as they had to split my order from two locations. I was on hold forever or until they disconected me both times. I the emailed a few times with no response, very frustrating. Good products, lousy customer service, you decide. |

| I Love this Jacket, I ordered A size big and it fits good, If I was any biger I should have gone two sizes up, arms just a little snug. But I get lots of complements. The vents work great helps cool down once get going. wen it starts getting cooler can put the liner back in and it will be as worm as my leather jacket, hard choice which one to were, got both here and love them both!!!!!! The price is great, any other place would double the price, that is why I only shop here, for everything, they have it all. Thanks Leatherup you guys are fantastic!! |

| Great jscket. I sstrongly recommend ordering one size larger.. I am 6'1" and usuall am better off with X-Large jackets and shirts because I have a 35" sleve length , but I ordered 2X-Large for this jacket and was worried it would be too large - it wasn't - fit perfect. I would not have known to order one size larger if it had not been for other reviews! So I am adding my review to the list! |

The delivery was good and reached on time. |

| Beautiful looking and very comfortable. Not at all stiff and bulky.
As others said order 1 size up. At 6'03" 270lb s I normally wear a 2XL but the 3 XL is a perfect fit. Sleeve openings have both zippers and velcro to cinch them really snug, when need be. No cold wind blowing up the arms. Arms have snaps to eliminate and flapping, 2 chest vents, 1 long vent across the rear shoulder area. Jacket well worth the asking price ( especially at LeatherUp sale prices ). Highly recommended. |

J. Shriver from CORONADO, CA: |
| Just received May 27, 2010, so probably shouldn't rate yet, but this jacket is obviously a terrific value. With the 15% discount by email, it cost $67.41 delivered. I have another X-Element jacket, so I know medium works for me, and that's not an extra size in my case. (I just ordered the CF-610 pants and did order one size up, since I wear 34 pants but ordered size 36. They, too, seem like a great value, wih a removable liner, delivered cost with the current 15% discount $58.91.)
The shoulders seem a bit wide, sort of body builder look, but that is my only comment approaching negative. The leather is creamy, thick, and soft, very good quality. It doesn't feel like there's cordura under the leather, so I don't see how the jacket can be waterproof, but we'll see. Someone with a bull neck might choke to death, but it's just snug for me. It has the zipper fastener for the pants I just ordered so we'll see how that works out. I know from experience with my red (#CF-345-RED-2144) jacket that it'll be warm as toast with the liner, and pretty cool without the liner and with the two front and one rear vents open, and with gloves intside the sleeves. The subject jacket, with the leather and zipped sleeves in addition to velcro should be more expensive than the red one, although it's the other way around. Tomorrow,
I'm going for a long ride, and just for the sake of trying something, removed the shoulder and back armor. I'll probably put it back because the appearance doesn't really change with these pads removed. Maybe after my first ride with it, I'll have more comments, but the system probably won't let me back in. I am so enthusiastic about it now, I want to voice my praise without waiting. By the way, I ordered this color jacket even though I have the red one, because I now have two blue bikes, and the red jacket probably isn't the best color. |

| Jacket arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to review it. Major complaint is that I received very little help from both the website and customer service in regards to size. Size is crucial in motorcycle jackets and there wasn't much to go on. Despite this, I read almost every customer review and got a pretty good match for myself. I am 6'-1" and weigh in at 150#. I have long arms, wide shoulders and a long torso- very hard to find jackets for. I bought a large and, all in all, it fits great. It's long enough from collar to waist, long enough in the arms, fits snug enough, shoulder armor fits nicely. It seems obvious to me that Xelements are the best deal on the internet. Jacket also has great armor, great customization, great visibility. Buy it. |

| Purchased for my husband, and I was smart reading reviews. My husband typically wears a XL, but based on feedback here I went with a 2XL...it was a perfect fit. I know if I had gotten the XL it would have been a little snug. He has indicated it definitely keeps him warm on the chilly mornings as he drives into work. Liked it so much that I came back to order myself one :-) |

| Wonderfull Jacket, I am 5'9", 160, got a large size and it fits just right. Very very warm, love the velcro wrists and waist, helps keep that cool draft out...
I now have to figure out how to keep my face and legs just as warm.
I love the extra flap at the bottom so the jacket doesn't fly up when I'm ridin and no cool drafts there either, it looks a lot better than in the description. Leather on the shoulders is way too cool...
Reflective parts are really wonderfull... It looks fantastic riding at night.
I also bought a medium size for my wife... it's a bit big for her, but she feels fantastic with the protection.
Not bullky at all... except maybe elbows when bending the arm... but fantasctic in riding position...
I have not removed armor... don't think it would ever be necessary, thejacket is not heavy at all (compared to my other jackets)
Zippers easy to get even with gloves and shaky hands after riding.
I would definitlely recommend the jacket! |

| Overall the jacket does as advertised. I've ridden it in 50 degree weather as well as in 70 degree weather and was very comfortable. Ordering a size large is a great idea. The sleeves stay snug enough to be comfortable and the body wide enough for layering. The only thing that I would change is to increase the length of the internal zipper flap to go all the way up to the top of the collar. It currently stops at the zipper stop and there is a gap that allows cold air to get in. |

Ryan P. E. from Los Angeles, CA: |
| This is my first motorcycle jacket, but I feel confident in saying that it's a great product. I know the price is unbeatable, and I feel both protected and a bit stylish wearing it. I removed the inner liner (to ride in February in Southern California) because it was so warm with it in. The zippered sleeves are convenient and easy enough to adjust while riding, and the neck snap really shuts out wind at highway speeds. I've gotten compliments on the looks of it, too. My only complaints:
1. the main zipper got stuck on the inner lining as I tried to unzip it, and it took me about 10 minutes to get it off as I tried to enter a store. It takes away from the "cool"ness of showing up on a bike if you can't get your jacket off!
2. the left front pocket had a small hole in the stitching that became a huge hole. My keys fell through this hole, but they ended up on the liner on the inside of the jacket (luckily). I stitched it up and it's fine now.
Neither of these issues is a big deal, and they are definitely things I can work around, given that I spent about $200 less than I was planning to on a very good jacket I plan on keeping for a long time. |

G P. from Stoddard, NH: |
| Nice jacket! It's winter now in New England as I write this so I have not "field tested" it but the features (zip pockets, inside pockets, vents) and style / fit were just what I was looking for. Very comfortable; well thought out design.
I did have to return the first one for size - I'd strongly encourage going 1 size higher than the "chart" suggests. I'm not a large guy (slender / 170 lbs) but did need the XL to have reasonable arm movement and comfort. The exchange process with LeatherUp was easy; just sent the first back and checked off a larger size on their form; got the new one in a timely fashion with no hassle.
The only (minor) complaint I'd have with the jacket is that I wish the internal back pad (armor) was a little larger. While it does seem like it will cover the shoulder blades and mid-back, it does not extend down to the waist / lower back. Maybe this is common and perhaps not needed but I'd feel better if it extended lower. |

| I can't believe how warm this jacket is,it really shields you from the wind. YOU do need to order it a size larger. I was skeptical at first but read some of the other reviews that said to do this so I did, good thing too. I'm short and stocky and was worried about the length in the arms I usually wear a large and sometimes a med. depending on the cut. I ordered the x-large and it fit fine. I have a friend who payed more for his jacket and I believe this one is as comparable! |

| Great jacket. Third one I've ordered in different styles. I do suggest getting it one size up from what you normally wear to make movement on the bike easier. The lining keeps me pretty warm, but it's not needed unless the wind is really blowing. I like the armor feeling too..gives me a little extra confidence that I am protected in case anything should happen. Just wish it had some type of ID holder on the sleeve to make it easier to get out. |

| I already owned one of these jackets and love it (see earlier review) and was looking for a better jacket for my gf. Since she's quite tall, mine is a perfect fit for her, and she loved mine and the idea of matching jackets so the purchase was an easy choice. This jacket is great for all but the hottest weather and super protective. I've ridden in temps from upper 20's to 70's wearing it and the zip out liner plus 3 vents make it very comfortable throughout the range of weather. I can't imagine finding one I'd ever like better than this and how can you beat the price? |

| Its a nice jacket, good for the money, good looking, comfortable and feels safe. I have just one complaint - the zipper keeps eating the fabric tab inside. Almost every time I go to zip it up, it grabs either the inner fabric, or the outer zipper fabric, which constantly requires pulling it apart! If they would redesign the zipper which drives me crazy, I'd gladly get another. |

| I had to order twice but as everyone has stated you need to order larger size than you normally wear. I needed to go 2 sizes larger my wife needed to also go bigger. I have worn the jacket allready in 30 deg. weather and along sleeve shirt and I was very warm! Very surprised as well a had spare sweatshirt in the trunk just in case, didn't even think about it. Love it and it is a good choice. I'm looking foward to and early spring.. |

Benjamin P. from Denver, CO: |
| 60 MPH IMPACT
Today is 12/14/09. I went for a ride with my jacket last Saturday, 12/12/09. I went into the mountains of Colorado and found some gravel in a corner on the high way. I was doing at least 60 MPH when I went down. I not only slid on the pavement but I also hit the cement barrier with my back. I honestly felt no pain until I had picked the bike up, which was about 100 feet further down the hill and pushed it to the shoulder. Yes, I stood up with no pain. If i hadn't been wearing my jacket, I would still be in the hospital, but because of the jacket, and of course chaps, gloves, and my helmet, I was able to pick the bike up and ride it 15 miles home. Unfortunately, after I got home, I looked at the bike, and it is not even close to roadworthy. I did not need to go to the hospital. The jacket took most of the slide. My roommates and I were wondering how the canvas would hold up in a slide and impact. Now we know. It did just as well as any leather jacket. It has scuff marks but no tares. The seam on the right chest vent pulled loose about a Half an inch long, repairable. Other wise, the jacket is in great shape. The Level 3 Armor in the jacket is outstanding. The jacket is also very waterproof and warm. I put a fleace on under it and road numerous of times in subzero tempuratures, -17 degrees F. My only injury is minor bruising and a small "rug burn" on my left wrist. If anyone has any questions about the jacket, you can email me at poelmanb at ymail dot com
This jacket is worth every penny you spent on it. |

James from LOS ANGELES, CA: |
| I waited 6 months to review this jacket in order to really put it to the test. The jacket has turned out to be very durable and I get compliments on it all the time. the removable liner is a nice feature that I have put to use. When the jacket arrived it was pretty warm out so I removed the liner. It breaths very well on road trips during the summer. Now that its colder out ive put the liner back in and have no problems with southern California cooler weather. The only problem my jacket had was the liner came with a torn snap but that wasn't enough to take off any stars from my rating. I have been very happy with the jacket. I would like to mention that the front zipper has a cover made with extra tri-tex fiber to keep the wind from coming through. This extra wind protection makes it a little tricky to zip up until I got used to the jacket. I'm 6' 205 /-5 lbs and the extra large fit me perfectly. These jackets are made to fit snug at the waist line and not over the hips like a large coat. |

| I have had this jacket for a year now. Traveled to Oregon and Colorado in all kinds of weather. The jacket preformed beautifully in both hot and cold conditions. I cannot say enough good things about this jacket. I have three other motorcycle leather jackets but this is the one I use all the time. It is well made, fits great and more than comfortable. For the price you cannot buy a better jacket at any price. Don't know how they do it but you will be happy with this unit believe me. Ride on! |

| Love the Jacket. Looks good and works great with or without the liner. Have riden in temps down to 45 with no problems. I normally wear a large jacket but after reading other reviews, I ordered an extra large and it fit very well, a large would have been too tight. I am 5'8" - 170lbs. Armor and padding are also comfortable without a bulky or binding feel. |

| I was more then happy with the jacket I purchased. I had to send the first one back, because I listened to blogs and ordered a large. Ended up I needed a XL. Leather-Up makes the whole process fast and painless. I got my replacement jacklet in less then a week. My only concern has been the zipper seems to be a problem. It sticks at the point when you want to open up the jacket so you have to play with it a little. |

| Very nice jacket for the price! Like most people have said, the zipper does suck and takes some serious finess. I purchased the M size at it fits perfect for a 5'8 150lb guy. Overall the price is right, it looks stylish, and the quality is decent(stupid zipper or I would rate higher). I would recommend this if you are looking for an entry level jacket and leatherup did a great job with shipping and service so far with my experience! |

| Very nice jacket for the price paid. I'm 6'0" 245lbs (with beer gut :-) and ordered a 3XL, a size up, and fits well. Sleeve length more than adequate. Collar is well made and sized right. Cell phone inside pocket is nice plus an additional large pocket inside is cool too. Plenty of arm room for mobility and glove coverage. Leather-up will see me return for more "stuffffff": remember guys & girls "Loud pipes save lives" Be careful out there! Mark, Granite City, IL |

| Great jacket for the price! Feels comfortable and keeps you warm in the cold. If you take out the removable liner and open the zippered chest vents, it can be worn in the warmer temperatures. It does tend to get hot while stopped at red lights during the heat, but very comfortable while moving. Like others have said, order one size up. I usually wear a XL but ordered an XXL and it fits just right. Buy this product with confidence that you will be satisfied. |

| Great looking jacket for the price, seems well constructed, BUT and a huge BUT, the sizes are WAY OFF. I'm a big guy who usually wears a 3X. I ordered the 5X and couldn't get it on - not even close. Not sure who is sizing these things, but be sure to order at least two sizes larger than you think you'll need. |

| I read a couple of reviews from guys about my size (5' 10", 185 lbs) that ordered there normal size of Large and the fit was correct. I ordered the Large and the fit is good but I think you could still order one size up and have a good fit. The quality of this jacket is fantastic! This jacket is definitely not a warm weather jacket. The horizontal positioning of the vents only allow minimal air flow. I think this primarily because the flap that folds over the zipper reduces the flow. This is a good cold weather jacket. I have ridden on a 50 deg. day without the liner and I was very comfortable. Riding 70mph on a 50 deg. day makes about a 38 deg. windchill! |

| Just purchased the jacket. I am 5'10 and 200 and the XL fits me great. I had to take the liner out because it is still too warm out, and I noticed you can definitely feel the shoulder pads more. The zipper can get stuck a bit but its a non issue. All in all it has a great fit and feel and was well worth the money. |

| Great jacket... as others have said buy a size or two larger than what you normally wear... I'm 6'2" 265 pounds and the 2X is a tiny bit too small.
THE ONE THING I HATE!!!!!!!!!!!
The zipper is HORRIBLE. They should have used a YKK zipper and added a couple of extras dollars to the cost of the jacket. The darn thing is a chore to get the zipper started... |

| INCREDIBLE JACKET! This is outstanding value and an amazingly functional coat. The quality is good and the jacket does everything needed. We just returned from a 4 day Rocky Mountain trip where it was 60-70 degrees in valley and 37 degrees at the passes and snowing. Left the lining in the whole time and opened vents to regulate cooling--worked out great. At 40 degrees cruising used a fleece vest underneath and was plenty warm. Abundance of internal zipped pockets for IPOD, cell phone, camera etc. This is probably the best purchase I've made. Reflectability is excellent. Size Xl--fit well, 190# and 5'10". Shoulder pad armor was a little stiff so I removed but left elbow armor in. When you walk out of a rest room wearing this jacket and a helmet with face shield--any little kids around look up and think you are a PowerRanger. |

| I purchased the Men's and Women's jackets. Great value for the money. They fit 'slim", you need to be accurate with your body style!! Jacket is a bit stiff(armour) and the zippers can catch a bit (nylon). Lots of good features, vents, velcro wrists, side adjustments etc. I reide in AZ, so I need light weight, but versatile. This jacket will provide the options I need.
I would buy it again. |

| great price! Well made. The fit is a little bit short on the waist, I have a long torso. The armor is flexible foam, so it won't provide as much protection as the hard shell padding of other jackets. It is pretty warm even with the liner out. It does balloon up if you ride in an upright position, however this is minimized if you use gloves that go over the cuffs. great looking jacket. I am 6'2" 260 and a xxxl works well for me, just wish the torso was longer. |

| This is a great jacket!! I had a problem with my initial order and had to pick a different jacket (I picked this one). The customer service group was excellent in allowing me time to pick the jacket I wanted and hold the order until I made my decision. Once I made the decision, I called them and they adjusted the payment and credited my account with the overage. Once I received my jacket, I got so many compliments at work and when out mingling on how nice it is. One suggestion.....make sure to order 1 size up (I usually wear an XL but ordered a 2XL based on the comments and it fits great!!). Kris G-Dallas |

| Great jacket! Excellent value. Do order one size larger than normal as the jacket is rather snug. Its warmth is a lot more than I expected from its light weight feel. I've gotten a lot of compliments on its looks. I recommend this jacket highly. |

| I bought this jacket about a month ago now and have been wearing it ever since on every ride from 40 degrees up to 85 degrees and its great! always keeps torso and neck warm and no matter the temperature its comfortable. I ordered an XL and im 5'9" and 165 pounds and fits perfect. I would recomend this jacket to any new or old rider and its priced great!! I like leatherup.com they ship quality products fast and i have already suggested a few friends to check it out and they now too order stuff from here. I'll for sure be back for more. |

Salvatore T. from Lewisville, TX: |
| This jacket looks great in person, and the craftsmanship seems to be good. The leather on top is a little thin, but I guess it's more for looks. It did take a little bit to break in the nylon zipper, but it works fine now. The armor seems thin too but decent. I hope I never have to test it. I wore it in 40 degree Texas weather, and it kept me pretty warm. I also removed the liner and opened the vents on a hotter 76 degree day, and it seemed fairly cool. I'm 6' and weigh 195lbs. I ordered an XL, and it fits well. Size chart said I should get a L. So sizing up one is a good idea. Overall, a great value for a cool looking, functional jacket for the price. I'd order it again. No regrets. |

| It is more than I thought. This is a fine product that need not take a second seat to leather. Tradition is good, but today's garments are as good and more versatile. Add to that the high visibility this jacket provides and you can not ask for much more. |

Brian T. from FAIRFIELD, OH: |
| This jacket is AWESOME. I don't give such compliments lightly. I took it out for the first time in 45 degree weather with a T-shirt and a long sleeve button down. I felt NO wind. NONE. Except in the small area behind my neck that was exposed. Very warm. Very comfortable. When people say to order 1 size bigger, I strongly recommend it. If you plan on wearing excessive clothing underneath (big sweat shirts etc, you might even go 2 sizes larger.) I normally wear a 2x in shirts and needed the 3x jacket. The return too about 3 weeks to get the right jacket. This is fair given the high volume season. That is my only complaint. I will be buying again from leatherup soon. I have already gotten many compliments. IT looks even better than the pictures. |

| Ordered the jacket on thursday it arrived on monday. Very fast for shipping to canada. Used it for the first time today in 50 degree weather and was no problem keeping warm with a short sleeve golf shirt on underneath even on the hiway at 70 mph. Fits well but i did order one size bigger like every one says to. If you are ordering from ontario remember you will have to pay another 50 bucks when it arrives in sales tax and duty. Overall though not a bad jacket. |

| Love the Jacket, I am 6'0", 180, and got a large, a size up from the chart and it fits just right. very warm, love the velcro wrists and waist, helps keep that cool draft out... I also like the extra little flap at the bottom so the jacket doesn't fly up when I'm ridin and no cool drafts there either, very nice jacket, well worth the price, I'll probably have this one for a long time to come. |

| Great jacket - I was afraid that for the price it would be poor quality, but it looks just like in the picture and gets the job done well. Liner is warm, vents keep it (when unlined) pretty cool. Nice to have a decent amount of reflective material without looking like a traffic cone or crossing guard.
Buyers take note: The outer pockets don't seem to stay closed. I lost a camera on a long ride out of a pocket. Now I stitched them shut (so they don't flap around inside-out) and I use the inside pocket.
I am 5'6", 140lbs, and the Large is the right size. |

| Excellent jacket, especially for the price. Cuts through all the wind, and the removal liner makes it even better. I would recomend this product to anyone looking for a jacket with protect, with little cost to your wallet. Lastly, I got it quick via UPS, right at my door, I wasn't home, the driver left him without me having to sign for it. Great for people who can't be home waiting for the deloivery. |

| Two Words, Top Notch. That all I have to say about this jacket. The quality of this jacket rates up there with the original Kawasaki riding gear I bought from a dealer. If anything else this jacket is better. I can't stress how pleased I am with the quality of X element attire. I bought a size up from normal and it's fit is phenomenal. Thanks Leatherup for providing great quality merchadise at unbeatable deals. |

| This jacket is perfect for cold weather. Before I used to wear a sweater & outer coat over my mesh jacket. This created a lot of bulk. This jacket is warm and comfortable in 50 or below weather. The sides close sufficiently to avoid losing keys and cellphones clipped to your belt. I bought a large vs medium and fits perfectly. The only problem with the jacket is that the nylon zipper tends to stick occasionally. Otherwise, excellent jacket. |

| I've really enjoyed this jacket so far! It's been perfect for those extra chilly days and then, when it has warmed up some, the zip out liner gets taken out and the vents get opened and once again its a great jacket! I will concur with others: Get the next size up that you think you need. With the pads, the liner and whatever clothes you are wearing underneath--it gets a bit tight. This one fits just right depending on what I am wearing underneath but I probably could have used the next larger size just for added space on those COLD mornings. Otherwise, great jacket!! |

| Definitely a well made and nice jacket. The reflective stripe is a good feature and the cordura kept me very warm in sub 40 degree weather. I am 6' 2' 175lbs and I ordered a large (40-42). I recommend getting a size larger if your tall and lanky like myself. The sleeves are a bit short and the waist is a bit short as well, I probaly will not be able to fit a sweatshirt under it next winter. Sometimes the zipper gets caught to which can be frustrating but it doesn't concern me too much. |

| I really like how the jacket looks and it's built well. BUT, unless you are some skinny toothpick you really need to order 2 sizes larger. My foootball player shoulders dont fit in the 2X size and I wear a 2X jacket from most places. I measured my chest and the size chart said 2X, it's wrong. 4X would be right for me. These jackets are made very small. |

When I got to work, I checked weather.com to see that it was 18 degrees! I have gotten several compliments on the looks. Fellow bikers always ask where I got it. My wife wants one for herself now. Does run a bit small. I usually wear a large. I bought an extra large and it fits great. I will buy from them again. |

| This jacket looks great and I was so excited to give it to my husband for Christmas. He is 6' 2'' and has a 54" chest so I did what the others said and ordered the 4 XL- a size larger than he normally wears. It was too tight accross the back and chest, so I returned it for a 5 XL. Well, this jacket doesn't fit much better and he says there is no more room accross the back than the 4 XL. |

Cuffs close for an airtight fit. I just love the neck collar. Not like a shirt and tie tight, more like just right. Today it was 30 degrees out and with the warm inner liner, I stayed perfect. Can't wait for summer. Thank you again. My first time doing business with you. Surely not my last...P.S. the gloves to match we're warm, warm, warm... ordered on a friday night, and delivered on the next thursday. |

Charles from MANSFIELD, TX: |
| I just purchased this jacket a few weeks ago so my comments are limited. First, the Leatherup service was excellent providing delivery quickly and providing an accurate description. The jacket itself is even better than I expected. I have ridden it in temperatures from 65 to 40 and it has been very comfortable. The quality of workmanship and materials is high quality including the leather, zippers and velcro. The only issue I found was that the neck snap is set in a position that makes the fit around the neck very tight for me. It may have been better to put velcro there so it could be adjustable. I would rate it 4.5 stars. |

| This jacket is great. I've received quite a few complements and have plugged the leatherup people every time. The one problem is that when its 80 degs outside the jacket is a little too warm, even with the vents open, but better safe than sorry. |

| This jacket is so much more than the description says. I received mine today, tried it on, and, Wow! It fit great, felt good and, the leather is awesome. Fits so much better than my Kawasaki jacket..which, by the way was an XL and never did like the way it fit. This new jacket I got in XXL and it fits the way a motorcycle jacket should. Up your size by one. You'll be happy! I was. Thanks LeatherUp. Many more purchases coming your way. |

| I purchased this jacket for my son. He loves it. I shopped around and believe me this is the cheapest price The quality is great. He said that it keeps him warm when it is cold. And kept him cool when it is hot. We live in southern Louisiana where it is very humid and he has no problem wearing this jacket. I did follow the other reviews and ordered a size larger than what he normally wears and it fits him like a glove. |

Jaime E Morales Jr from Schaumburg, IL: |
| I first ordered XL. Fit was too tight and sleeves too short, especially when stretched towards the handle bars. I went 2XL. Fit was better but still a bit tight while wearing with the insert. The return for exchange process went without a problem. Initial order was fast and so was order after I sent it for exchange. I have bought two leather jackets with this company within the last 3 years. I will continue to do business with them as long as they remain true to their policies and good service. Quality for items is good for the price. If you want "designer" quality, go and pay triple the price. I have NO complaints and I have recommended them to fellow rider friends. Buy with confidence! So far so good. I plan on purchasing a riding jacket for my daughter before spring. |

| This is a really nice jacket. Delivery was prompt. As other reviewers have said, it fits perfect for trim wearers. I'm 6'2" and 175lbs and it fits perfect. A little more belly means it wouldn't fit. The arms could be a tad longer for me but it still works.
I've since ordered more "stuff" from leatherup and both experiences are first class! |

| Super jacket and great customer service. The jacket came yesterday and today was my first ride with it. This is mid November, 34 degrees F and 25 gusts. I put on a light sweater over a short sleeve shirt and rode at 60 mph. Only my hands got cold. I'd buy another Xelement product in a minute ... this is very well made, light weight and comfortable.
I messed up my order and C.S. fixed it with no problems. Great company to work with. |

Donald from LOS GATOS, CA: |
| This jacket looks great, better in person than in the photos. The leather on the shoulders is very soft and supple. I am 5'10", 165, and a jacket size 42. I ordered a L as shown on the size chart, and it fits perfectly. The armor pads seem like they would be effective, yet they do not overly restrict movement, and the jacket is very comfortable. The vents work very well for cooling on warm days, as long as you are moving. The reflective stripes show up very well at night and are a great safety feature. |

| My first Leather-Up purchase. Very satisfied with this jacket. Took the advice of others and bought one size up. Fits great. This is a quality durable product. A lot of good features and some extras not mentioned like an inner cell phone pocket, mesh pocket in back and zipper in back to attach to matching pants. I found the neck collar to be a bit snug. Overall a great product and great value! I'll be buying more. To all: the detailed reviews are very helpful - Thanks! Mark |

| First order from Leatherup.com went extremely smooth. Received my order in a very short time frame (two days before expected!) and everything was as I ordered. I haven't taken the jacket out riding yet, but I can tell it's going to be a winner. I took most everyone's advice and ordered a size up (usually wear a XL shirt and I ordered a 2X jacket) and it fits me very nicely. The armor seems to hit all the important spots and I feel like it's going to protect me very well should I ever need it to. Thanks Leatherup.com! |

Robert from WALHALLA, SC: |
| This is my first motorcycle jacket and it will be my last!!! I am already thinking of getting another one for when this one wears out. Very comfortable and easy to move around in. Armor is not bulky and does not inhibit movement. Very stylish and the colors match my motorcycle and helmet, making me look even better cruising around. Can't wait to get another one. There is only ONE thing I would change in the future. I usually wear a M in a jacket so I ordered a L and it is still a little tight when I wear my fleece liner on cold mornings. I would buy an XL next time for winter wear to allow easier and freer movement while wearing an additional liner. |

Manat from NEENAH, WI: |
| I agree with most review on quality for the price. This is a warm jacket, definitely not a summer jacket. I use it today at 70 degree weather and with the liner removed, it is still too warm. I use it for Wisconsin winter ride. It keeps me warm on 30 degrees on all day ride with light sweater underneath. The collar design is just for look. You'll need scarf to stop the winds. Following suggestions from many I ordered large and it was too loose (I normally wear medium). So if you have normal or atheletic build go with your regular size don't get one size up. The jacket is pretty roomy. I have not had a chance to ride through pouring rain yet, so cannot say if it is really water proof. But I am counting on that based on the type of material it is made from. |

| I got my jacket on Friday and have put about 50 miles on it. I ordered on size up and it fits pretty good except the shoulders seem to raised while I am on the bike. It may be becuase its new. It was about 45 this morning and I was really warm in it. The only thing differant is mine does not have any labels on the front like the one in the picture. No problem. It came fast with Fed Ex. I am ordering the pants next week. Thanks for all of the reviews from before, they helped me decide. |

| This a beautiful coat but the sizing is all wrong. I ordered a 4X, which should be to big for me but I couldn't even zip it up. They only make up to 5X so I had to return it and get my money back. Mailed it this morning so we will see in a few days how well their return policy works. I have purchased here before and have been very happy. I think this coat is only designed for little skinny guys. |

| A great experience,
Fast shipment, sealed box product, color, size and model as ordered. good product and a very good supplier, highly recommended.
One more thing... someone said before that in order to find your correct size, you take your measurements, look at the size chart and increase the size by one step. This is what I've done and it worked really well.
Regards.

Delivery was very very quick. Will shop here again. Thanks |

Robert from ALEXANDRIA, VA: |
| Nice jacket, great price. The review from Oswego dated Aug 6th was dead on about sizing. I'm 5'11, at 216lbs, with a 19" neck, so I ordered the first XXL item in my life, and it's about right with the liner in, and a bit roomy with it out. Not baggy, just roomy. Thanks, Ronald, good call. BTW, did I mention that it's a nicely made, nice-looking jacket? It is. |

| The jacket is great. I followed other reviewers advise and got one size larger. Good advise. The jacket fits well. I wouldn't want it any smaller in the chest. The only thing is the sleeves are a little long. But velcro wrist straps take care of that. Jacket looks good too. It is warm on cool mornings and not to hot on warm afternoons(as long as your moving) Tried to get my wife one but they were out of stock. |

| I ordered XL nd it just barely fits me. I am 5'11'' and 215 lb. I might have been a little better off with the next size up, but this gives me incentive to trim down.
I have used the jacket to ride about 20 mi at 55-65 mph on mornings in the high 40's and the jacket is definitely the warmest thing I have on. I can barely feel the cold through it with the liner in. |

| I was in the 44-46 size and was frankly a little concerned to order the XL like the chart suggest. But the chart is right-on and this jacket fits nicely. Have used in the mountains where the morning temperatures were in the low 50's and it was warm enough even without the liner but not so oppressive after the day warmed-up.
This jacket could use some air vents and a double zipper flap! |

| Great jacket. The padding is well fitted and the vents the allow air flow is an added feature. With the desert like heat, it's recommended if the sleeves kept open and the chest vents open to allow good air flow during the ride. One draw back, the leather on the shoulder is very thin. |

Aaron from SOUTHAVEN, MS: |
| I like the jacket a lot and very comfortable even with the armor in. It's lightweight, but I still had to ride with the front zipped down to get more cooling air even with front and rear vents open during the August Mississippi heat. I'm 5'9" w/ 40" waist and 48" chest and the 3XL size fit perfectly; even when I tried on the liner and a sweater underneath. One of the sleeve buttons was broken, but superglue fixed it in a jiffy. There is no extra material in the shoulder/back area, but the jacket was contoured perfectly for riding and it did not ride up when my arms were fully extended. I have not had to test the water resistant qualities of the jacket yet, so that remains to be seen. All in all, I am happy with this purchase; especially for the quality and price. |

John from Blakely, PA: |
| Received the jacket last week and have used it all this week to ride to work. It seems well made and is fairly comfortable and feels like it would offer moderate protection. I ordered the 2X because of people's advice and it fits me pretty well. I am 6', 215 lbs, 43" chest, and usually wear XL. The zip-out liner is a nice feature because in weather above 50 F it is too hot with it in. The jacket is well windproofed and water resistant as well. If you are getting gloves, be sure to get ones with gauntlets or longer cuffs as you will have exposed skin at your wrists with standard gloves. Good value for the price. |

| Nice jacket! Good Buy for the price! Unless your a tooth pick order one size up. The waist line is not typical American sized. Great in rain, and I mean heavy rain, ok in the heat unless you stop. I would buy it again. Only negative stuff - Zippers are kinda cheap may or may not last for the life of the jacket. |

Michael from ALBUQUERQUE, NM: |
| This is a very nice motorcycle jacket and a great deal for the price. I too bought the next size up and it fits perfectly. The only thing I'm not too happy about is the vents don't seem to work that well for me. I live in New Mexico and the weather can be pretty hot. Even with the inner sip-out liner removed, I did not get adequate ventilation from the vents. I went on a 20 minute ride and my shirt was literally soaked with sweat - front and back. My arms were drenched with sweat as well as the arm sleeves were sticking to them. When the weather is cooler, I know this will be the best jacket to wear. |

| This jacket is more than I expected for the price. I saw a jacket that looked just like this one at a local bike store, but it was $180.00. The only thing I was not expecting was for it to be soooo hot! But I live in Texas and I should have known better. I would tell anyone who wanted to but a jacket to look at this one first. |

| Righteous jacket. The liner makes it hotter than anything I've ever worn but it should be good in the fall. The armor is difficult to take out, so much so that I just left it in. Great jacket to have on a rainy or windy day, and the reflective material is a nice safety touch. If I needed another one, I'd buy another! |

Eric from CYNTHIANA, KY: |
| I ordered a what was listed in the list for my chest size. the jacket came in and fit fine in my chest, fine at my gut area but at my 37" waist line was too small. there was only about an inch of play after undoing the adjusters on the side. The upper arm area was VERY cramped. I put the jacket on and zipped it up and in 10 seconds the zipper flew loose from the bottom up thus leaving me stuck in the jacket . the more I pulled to take it off like a shirt the more my upper arms flexed and it stuck on me more. I finally got the jacket off after breaking a major sweat and almost freaking out. Sent back for refund. |

| The jacket is great! It's comfortable and very well constructed. I had one complaint, one of the vent zippers was broken when the jacket arrived. However, the response of Leatherup.com certianly made up for this. They offered to replace the jacket, fix the zipper, or pay to have the zipper fixed. I found a tailor in the area that was able to fix the zipper, quickly. I would certainly consider ordering from leatherup.com again. |

| I just received my jacket and it looks and fits great. I didn't listen to other reviews and ordered based on my chest size and the jacket fits. I am an Athletic 6' and 170 lbs ordered a large and it is the right size. I wonder if ordering larger sizes has something to do with the mid-section. I am trim, so I stayed true to the size chart. The jacket is quality and I couldn't be happier. The jacket is leather in the shoulder area and then the rest is made up of the condura material. I am happy with the purchase and will order again when I am ready for my next stuff. I also ordered a helmet and it hasn't arrived yet, it was shipped separately. |

| I am about a 46L with a 37 inch reach, so the size chart reccomends XL, but I took a chance and ordered a size bigger, as I am always having problems with fit. The XXL fits perfectly on torso and arm length. I am new to motorcycle gear, but from trying on things at various shops, I have learned that pretty much all clothing runs undersized. As for helemts, they are typically on the money with size.
As for the quality of this jacket, I am amazed at the price, look, and materials. The Honda dealer here locally carries nothing under $200.00. Recieved order within a few days of shipment along with two other items that are def worth raving about also. |

| I love this jacket. It looks really good in person and I have gotten complemented by several people on how it looks. It fits snug and you can feel the armor on the elbows, shoulders, and back. It really gives you a piece of mind that you are protected in case of a crash. However, it doesn’t restrict your movement. I used it in really cold weather and warmer weather and it works great it both. I would recommend this jacket for anyone who wants a nice jacket for a very reasonable price. |

I purchased jackets for my wife and myself. I ordered the wrong size for me and they exchanged it with no problem. We love the jackets. It worked good for both cold and hot weather. The only problem I had is with the snaps in the cuff so I don't use them but the liner works well without them. The reflective stripes kept me from being hit on a dark narrow road coming down a mountain. I love the jackets (without the pads). |

| Great jacket for the money. Does not indicate Cordura anywhere on it, but the fabric seems to be at least similar. Also, the snaps are very weak, but that is not too big of a deal. It does seem to be very durable and warm. The reflective material on the is VERY reflective. |

| This was also my first leather up purchase, and I am extremely pleased with them. Service was quick (even during Christmas time), and the quality of the jacket was more than I expected for the price. Great Jacket, lots of armor, pockets, and padding. It is warm and durable...I've ridden in weather under 40 degrees a few times now and I felt good! I've also ordered gloves and a vest from LU, and I'm a customer for life! Great Company |

| Bought as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and I couldn't be more pleased. He LOVES it and, for the price, it was a steal. It looks great on and the reflective strips make a big difference at night. My first purchase from leatherup... but I will be back! |

| This is a really fine jacket at a really great price. Everything was as advertised and it arrived on time for Christmas after being ordered on the 18th of December. I won't be using it for a while yet (too cold in Michigan), but I can't wait to try it out. I do have some issues with the design. When it is zipped up, the stripes don't line up at the zipper. Not enough to make a big deal about, but it is noticeable. Also, when you open the zippered vents on the cuffs, you will still have to pull the velcro closure across the open area or the velcro strap will be flapping in the breeze. The whole velcro thing on the cuff could probably be eliminated.

| I purchased this jacket for my boyfriend for christmas, I was a little worried about making a purchase like this over the internet with such little time left before the holiday. The jacket got to me right on time and was my best online purchase ever! It is an amazing jacket and fits him perfectly. He is so excited about it and wants to wear it all the time. I would definatly do business with leatherup.com again! |

| Great Jacket, although I thought it was mostly leather and a large portion of it is the Codura, I haven't used it yet, it's winter in Iowa. But looking forward to using it in the spring. Looks great and fits nice....makes me look like i have shoulders!! |

| Great Jacket for a great price, and excellent shipping! The sizing chart gave me a perfect fit and I am very happy with this purchase. The only improvement to this jacket would be shoulder gussets for increased arm mobility, otherwise no complaints! I will be a Leatherup customer again! |
