Frank C. from Hesperia, CA:
Was worried about buying shoes online. Read Reviews and got 1/2 less then normal (size 11 to 10 1/2). Fit was right on, little tight pulling on. Wet a rag and nuked it, layed it across arch and walked around (steamed), broke right in. Easy to pull on now and comfy to walk in, also toe fit under shifter just right... Would recommend to all... Price, fit comfort, style and excellent soles to!!

Rick C. from HEMET, CA:
The sizing issues mentioned in previous reviews had me unsure whether these actually run 1/2 a size larger or not. If you are in between sizes from one shoe/boot to another, order the smaller of the two sizes that you are between. The back of the heel casing is not a tight round molding, which will cause slip, so be aware that you may need to order a half size under what you would normally wear. The toe box is narrow, so do not order a full size down, or they will fit too tight in the toe box. The shank is generous, so if you've got big calves, not a problem, but make sure your jeans have a boot cut, or they will be a tight fit under your jeans. Beyond this, the quality, finish and construction is on par with any of the high dollar riding gear, even the MoCo's branded boots. The leather is supple right out of the box with a broken in feel straight away. Sole is substantial and provides excellent grip on gravel, sand, uneven terrain, but is not bulky and has zero problems with over/under shift. on your machine. Made for riding, I can assure you, not a "biker look" boot, but a real quality piece of riding gear for the enthusiast. A real quality boot at a working rider's price means a solid value.

Wore this style boot back in the 70's. These boots grip the ground so well, no slipping at all. I ride in the cold, these are high enough to cover the bare spots. Very comfortable to wear and only took a couple days to break them in. LeatherUp had these boots almost $90 less than anyone. LeatherUp came through again!

Just got these in the other day. SUPER boots! As per what many of the reviews suggested, I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear, and lo and behold, they fit PERFECTLY. With the SERIOUS tread on the bottom of these bad boys, I won't have any more trouble with my boots slipping out from under me while I'm backing my beast up in loose gravel! Have only worn them around the house so far, but extremely comfortable. Easier to walk in than my current boots (also a LeatherUp purchase. Great looking boots, but they're like walking in ski boots for some reason I love these new ones! If you need a new or replacement pair of LEATHER harness boots, GRAB A PAIR OF THESE GUYS! You won't be disappointed! Arrived quickly too. LeatherUp came through for me again!

Won't shop with them again. Sucks I had to pay out of pocket to exchange to get these boots -30 bucks. The first pair of Vulcan boots I couldn't even shift in -- total fail as biker boot plus too big. Harley boots fit true to size. Xelement fits small in women's and big in men's so go 1/2 size smaller like other reviews recommend. No style, but all substance, plus fatties will love the extra width on top for big calves.. Utility biker boot for sure. But LEATHER UP SUCKS for making ppl have to pay out of pocket for legit exchange reason. Can't ride a bike in your biker boot that u sell to bikers should have offered to pay for return postage of totally fail item.

Wow, what a deal!! This is a better biker boot than I could purchase at our nearest HD dealer...and $100 less. Excellent overall quality. Great looking. Very grippy on the road. Other reviews stated the size runs big. I wear a 10.5 and that's what I ordered. Great fit and looks badazz on my Street Glide. DO NOT spend over $100 on an HD boot.

I was afraid to purchase boots online. I took the chance because I have purchased other items from Leather Up and was very happy. The boots are great good quality, the right look and seem to be well made. As far as the size I normally wear an 11 and that is what I purchased, The length was right so I suggest buying what you normally wear. I have read some of the other reviews before my purchase and I would agree that the instep is bigger than normal so take that into consideration on your purchase.

DANIEL A. from SUMMERVILLE, SC:
I was very skeptical about ordering boots online, since I can hardly buy the right size in store, but I ordered my shoes based off the size of Ariat boots i own already, and they ran true to size. Breaking them in was easier than I expected. After only one evening in the shoes, they were already broken in quite nicely. Caveat, make sure the first couple of times you wear these boots, you wear black socks, or the dye will stain your socks. (lesson learned) Aside from that, great boots, and exceptional price. I have already recommended the site and boots to other friends.

Good product. Leather up actually had to send me a 2nd shipment because 1st one was lost by USPS. So it took over 45 day to receive...way late for Christmas. Ordered a size smaller as recommended and length wise they fit but they are a bit narrow and seem lose on the heel.

I went a half size smaller and probably could have went a full size smaller. Excellent boot. It feels broke in already likely due to being a little big. I think adding a another liner would fix that. I really like these boots because I was using hiking boots to ride with.

They were a bit large, but my husband decided they would be OK, since he's not planning on doing that much walking in them. He said they are heavy, but they serve their purpose for a motorcycle boot. He likes them!

Great boot! remember to order a half size down of what you regularly wear in a shoe. I wear an 8 1/2, so I ordered a size 8. Couldn't ask for a better fit! Nice, durable, leather boot for safe riding. I love the ring-bickle ankle supports. Great product, again, from Leatherup! Love Leatherup!!

Hands down the best riding boots I've ever owned. The 10.5 size ran true for me, but the boots will stretch over time so you may want to consider a half size down if broken in boots aren't comfortable for you. If you have large calves and are a shorter person, the boots may be a little too tall to fit over your calves but the leather will wear and stretch slightly to accommodate. The lug soles are durable and give good grip on the roadway and in loose rock. Overall these boots are well put together, durable and worth the money.

Theresa B. from SHEFFIELD LK, OH:
As other reviews state - boots DO run 1/2 size larger. If you wear a 10, get a 9 1/2 etc... Have not broke boots in yet, however compared to the Fryes we've had for the past 20 years - they appear they'd hold up. Purchased because needed lug sole, but love the comfort of the Frye - so far they're comfortable. Have had for about a week; hoping they're just as durable.

Have had a pair of these before, and lasted me 3 years. I'm hard on boots, so that's impressive. However upon receiving my new pair, I found the arch support to be on the wrong side. Customer service does not respond in a timely manner, very disappointing from a previously trusted store.

Keith L. from West Hartford, CT:
I ordered two pairs of boots, these and the brown crazy horse model. I keep my dress shoes at work and commute on bike daily so I really like slip on boots for the ride. I really like quality of materials on both and the lugged sole on this boot but color and fit of the crazy horse so I'm keeping those. Both boots run a little large, about a half size as some of the review would suggest. I need the extra size as I tend to do better with wide widths. If it were not for the color black, I would have kept these over the browns. I did notice however that the materials that came with boot suggested an inside cushioned sole that was clearly not in the boot. Crazy horse model had the inserts. You can put your own inserts in so overall really nice boots.

I wear a size 10 boot and these are a little large compared to my other boots. I put a gel sole inside which I use due to heal problems and they fit fine. I like the style and the quality of the leather and sole. When I put my foot down during a stop, I want it to stay put and with these soles do that for me. No slipping or sliding. I have worn these on several rides already and have liked them from the first mile. I would recommend them.

This is the second pair of these boots the first pair is the 8 inch short shaft and they are 4 years old and holding up great. The new pair is the 13 inch shaft and right out of the box they fit great and quality is top notch. Others have noted that they run big, I haven't seen that. I have wear 10.5 in a boot and these fit perfect, not tight or loose just right for a heavy pair of riding socks. the leather is very heavy and should last for year. Xelement has made a great boot and there chaps are good too. Once again leather up has saved me 100's and the quality is great, will buy again without question

Frank Y. from Bunnlevel, NC:
Sizing runs big. Im a true 101/2 in everything I wear and these boots fell right off. Orderd a 10 and now they are fine. They feel like a well made boot and are comfortable but make sure you order the right size by guessing about a half size smaller otherwise you will spend another 16.00 dollars or so on sending them back and waiting for them to send back the right size. They should check into making sure their sizing is done better because now what did I really save? 75 for the boot plus 16 to return plus original shipping equals almost a hundred dollar boot. I know I didnt pick the wrong size so who is at fault here. Good boot but take your chances on sizing, good luck.

Christopher C. from OLATHE, KS:
Bought these on August 15th of 2014. I wear a size 14 Med shoe and this size 14 fit well. Pluses: Nice thick leather that starts off fairly soft, toe box is very rigid, the heel stops at the right place for a peg, the construction is pretty bullet-proof. They should last for many years. Minuses: They feel a bit clunky for walking. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the same for all motorcycle boots...

I ordered this in a 9,5. When I received it, it was a bit too tight. Had to return for a half size up. Waiting on arrival to verify fit. Otherwise this is an awesome product for the price. Seems very sturdy and well made. Once the warm season comes back around I'll actually use while riding so I can better determine traction and comfort.

Very comfortable boot for riding. Fit's excellent and the sole is perfect for keeping a grip on the road. Only ding in an otherwise great boot is these boots are definitely NOT made for walking. Would suggest carrying a pair of regular shoes to change into if you plan to do a lot of walking or be prepared for blisters.
