I have a thing about good shoes. I will pay a lot for a really good pair, so I was skeptical of the quality for 69.95. I would say, these boots are way overbuilt for the price. Very high quality, I am definitely buying pants from these guys...next.

GREAT boots for less than half of those at the "Hog" store and water resistant, too. Not my first purchase from LeatherUp, but all of the items I have purchased over the years have been outstanding in quality, fit, price and quick delivery...the goal of Internet shopping, no? LOL!

These boots look great and the feel great too! I put them on right before I went on a 2 hour ride and they felt great! They boot is a great fit and feels good with my feet. I have ankle problems and arch problems and these boots made me forget about both of them. These are a great buy!

I ordered these boots 1/2 size smaller. Upon arrival which took four days I slipped them on. The fit was perfect even after I added some insoles. Took them on a test run and I could not be more happier. I very strongly recommend these boots. I even rubbed on some leather soap for rain proofing. If you do not purchase these boots you are missing out on a great pair of boots and price.

Jeffrey B. from TALLAHASSEE, FL:
This is a great boot for the price. I like this style of boot...almost a combat-style boot. Lots of folks on here talking about the size issue, so I'll through in my two cents. I usually wear a size 10.5, and although lots of folks on here say that you need to order a full size smaller, that didn't seem right to me. So, I ordered a size 10. The boots fit perfectly. So, based on my experience, you'll want a half-size smaller than what you normally wear. Worked for me, anyway!

Stephen V. from HGHLNDS RANCH, CO:
These boots are huge!! I wear an 8 1/2 or a 9. I read that these are big so I ordered an 8 but they are way too big. I even put in some insoles from my hiking boots and it helped but they were still too big. I had to return them on my own dime and that did not make me happy. It's a shame because they look like great boots.

Robert C. from ROGERS, AR:
Great for the price. They are thin leather and break in easily. I ride a 2003 k1200gt and the boots flex enough for me to shift comfortably. I added gel soles and wear them all day. After 2000 miles no shifter marks that don't polish out. Soft soles for grip, very secure feeling traction on pavement and gravel.

Great boots. Great protection, flexible on the back, much better to back out my bike from the garage than my sport shoes. I normally wear 8 1/5 to 9 1/5. I order 8 1/5, it was little big and I returned for 8, which fits greatly. Inside of the shoes is little bit high, thinner a bit would be better.I agree with others that some gel support would make these boots perfect. The service is great, no complains. Leather up is the palce to go for boots and jacket.

Richard G. from Apex, NC:
Great Boots! I read all the other reviews before I ordered my boots and I'm glad I did. I usually wear a 9-1/2 and all the reviews said the boots run about a size big, so I ordered a size 9. When I got them I tightened the laces and zipped them up as-is out of the box and they fit okay. After wearing them about 8 hours straight the day I got (and standing/walking the whole time) they were still very comfortable and did not pinch or chafe anywhere. However, they were a bit looser than I prefer so I put a pair of gel soles designed for work boots right over the top of the inserts that are in the boots. They are still comfortable and now they fit perfectly!! Another great purchase from Leatherup.com!!

John P. from Jacksonville, NC:
Well these and another pair (Xelement Lace and Buckle) arrived and they seem pretty good. By pretty good, I mean the following: 1. Appearance was good, no manufacturing defects found externally. Low grade leather and materials. 2. Fit was good. I wear a 10 WIDE, I ordered a 10 and they fit me very well right out of the box. No need FOR ME to order 1/2 size up or down as some have stated or recommended. 3. Durability can be commented on as I have only had them a week at this point. If I remember I will omment back after a few months or the first time they begin falling apart. 4. Price was good, but Xelement is a MADE IN CHINA product, so that's the immediate issue I was able to locate after purchasing. Cannot verify the below link no will I say it is 100% correct, but if you do your homework you will see this link getting them in your hands should confirm why they are so cheap: http://bootedman.com/wiki/doku.php?id=xelement.review QUOTE - "Xelement Boots are a brand of boots marketed by various off-market retailers (importers of cheap gear made in China). Styles of boots made: motorcycle boots. Value: Xelement boots present low value for the price paid. The boots are constructed of low-grade quality leather and materials. Xelement brand boots are made in China. The boots are made by mechanical methods and are not hand-made. Availability: Via licensed on-line vendors (that sell cheap, off-market gear). Custom sizing: Not available. How to order: From websites that offer cheap boots and gear made for the masses, not for people who understand quality."

I have allways wore 10.5 sized boot, I never thought I should have to read reviews on a boot! I received my boots and was very happy, before I even wore them I sprayed them with protectant and finally got a chance to break them in a couple weeks later and they are way too big! its not ok. I see the reviews now with everyone saying buy a smaller size, WHY should I have to? who makes these? why don't they fn tell you when you buy them??? my kid used the box already and now im stuck with a pair of boots that don't fit. thanks guys!

Donald M. from KALAMAZOO, MI:
Like a lot of the other reviews say, order a size smaller. I wear a size 14, but they didn't have these boots in my size. So after reading the reviews from others saying to order a size smaller, I decided to take a chance on these in a size 13. I was worried they would get here and wouldn't fit right, but they fit pretty good, and are actually a little bit on the loose side. So after a set of inserts, they should fit perfectly. And as far as the durability, I do not know how well they'll hold up since I just got them a few hours ago.

bpought these boots on 1 November and there was practically no break in required. They fit perfect out of the box (had to tighten the laces a bit). Little hard to zip with the laces tight, but not too bothersome. very good tread has a sturdy contruction. The toe is a bit high, but can slide under the shifter pretty well. Very good boot for the price and delivered quickly...Don't hesitate to buy.

Great price and quick delievery.....ordered on Tuesday and delivered on Friday. Unbelievable. This is why I have been and will stay a LeatherUp customer.......

First off, I love the style of the boot. For us as a consumer the boot is: Very well constructed, comfortable, great price and size is true to fit. These are my 2nd pair in the last 7 years as I wear them on my feet when ever I ride. Last pair lasted through 50,000 riding miles. I spray a clear shoe silicone to enhance the weather protectant of the boots. I highly recommend!

Awesome boot, I had read the reviews before the purchase, it was dead on. They are just like my boots from my time in the Air Force. Great jump boot, price is way to low for this good of a boot. If there is a con to this boot, I would say its the zipper, the laces give a better secure confort fit. Great boot and like other have stated, buy a size lower than you typically wear.

I have ordered my second pair of these boots. The first were torn up in a wreck that I had. I can vouch for the boots. Even though I broke a small bone in my ankle, the boots kept me from breaking the large bones that would require surgery. The toe box was somewhat destroyed, but no toes broken or any other injuries! The boots protected me! I got another pair!! They do run a half to full size large. I prefer the hard inserts that come with the boots for walking around. Some prefer the gel. Whatever. They are for riding not walking!! Great boots!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took note of the fact that it was best to order these boots a bit smaller than I otherwise might. I needed them (and got them) in a hurry, and I was very happy with the fit, the comfort, and the style of these boots. I highly recommend them.

Contrary to sizing issues listed before, these boots are true to size. I nornally wear a 9-9.5, but ordered a 8.5 because of the "oversize" reviews. The 8.5 was to small and I exchanged for a 9 that fits perfect 9by the way Leather UP exchanged them very quickly with no shipping charge). The boots are very oomfortable and need no break-in. I live in FL so I've already worn the boots for riding my chopper - GREAT BOOTS - you will not be disappointed.

I waited a month and some change to write the review but These boots are great and Iam so glad I read the reviews on how the sizing are. They ate not true size and like everyone else says below, Iam saying the same thing. Order a size down. I usually wear size 13 but I saw what everyone said and I wanted to be cheap and get cheapest but yet good quality boots with a zipper and Iam so glad I did. Also I agree again with the going to Walmart and getting the custom shoe soft sole thing. Because these bad boys are hard and I would say takes awhile to break in. Also I noticed a good amount of wind gets into em aswell when I'm riding but my feet hasn't froze yet and I been riding in 30 degree and lower weather. Cant stress it enough when I say get a full size lower. Hopey review helps.

The boots are very nice. From what I know, they seem to be all leather, including the uppers. If they came in multiple widths, that would be better. Also found them on-line at a competitor for less, shop around!!

Great boots, the zipper works for me to put on or take off without undoing laceing. Many thanks to prior reviewers for their sizing recommendations --I normally wear size 9 1/2 and ordered size 8 1/2 for this boot and fit is good.

Kelly C. from Iuka, IL:
Very comfortable boot. Right out of the box they feel good and fit great. I am a 11-1/2 boot size, which was not available, so I went up to a 12. Not a bad fit, a bit loose but I think going down to an 11 would have been too small. If they offer it in your size you should be safe ordering it. Very flexible uppers. They don't require a break-in period like other boots with stiff uppers. The zippers on the side is what I really like. You don't have to undo the laces all the way to the bottom or break your ankle pulling on them just to get your foot out after a hot day of riding. Unzip and they practically fall off. I have read where a couple of people have added sole inserts for more cushion, I can see doing that if you are going to be stopping and walking around in them. They are not uncomfortable by any means, but boots are boots.

I've owned quite a few pairs of engineers and parachute boots over the years, but these are the most comfortable pair of tall boots that I've ever owned straight out of the box. No break in needed at all, I have a wide foot instead of going a full size less like a lot of reviews suggested I went half a size smaller which is a perfect fit :)

I just received this pair of boots yesterday, I normally wear a 10 1/2 or 11 and after many reviews of the boot running big I ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly. I wore them all day today to see how they felt and they were pretty comfortable, but after a full 8 hour day of work I decided to go get some gel insoles. They are perfect now, awesome boot, I am going to wait a month and if they hold up and I will be buying another pair...Great Job Xelement and Leather up for the quick deliver... 5 stars all the way around
