| Nice, good looking boot for the money. I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. Thought they were just a bit tight on one foot and just needed breaking in, it got better and is ok, but a half size bigger would've been the ticket. | I ordered the 11 EE which they were out of stock. I called and I reordered the 12 M and after breaking them in (2days) they fit and feel really great. I love them and will order more. I will call before odering another pair since the EE sizes go fast and the web site cant keep up. They have a real friendly staff. |

| I ordered 12EE because I wear a 12 wide in my Ariat cowboy boots-the engineers are a little snug but think as they wear they will loosen up. Seems to be a good value for the money.
My biggest problem w/ the order was FEDEX ground...I orderd on Sunday, I got conformation from Leather-up that my boots were to be shipped on Monday-FEDEX didn't pick them up for 2 days! When all was said and done it took my boots 8 days to get here...a little disappointing after hearing other reviews saying how fast stuff normally arrived. If you need something right away, you might want to plan accordingly. |

| Very high quality boot for the price. Albeit this, they run LOOSE...read on. I usually wear a 10.5 wide, sometimes 11 regular to wide. I got the 10.5 (regular I assume) and I was swimming in them. First, I had to make an extra hole on the ankle straps to tighten up. I suggest keeping the calf strap loose so you can get in and out of them easily, and with less wear on the leather (but these sons-a-guns are heavy duty...craftsman wise and literally). Next, I bought some gel insoles to stack on-top of the stock insoles. That provided a more filling feeling, yes, but elevating my foot too much and made my heel slip when walking. The stock insole IS removable however (which is a rare quality in this price range) - so I might just take the gels and the stock insoles out and buy one 'tall' arch support insole to make a good snug fit. Understand, with these types of boots (engineer / harness / executioner) you have to kinda 'tailor' them to your feet. But once you do, you're golden for YEARS in them. It's worth it, especially considering you're getting a boot for more than half off Xelement's normal $160 price, even after shipping. On shipping....FAST! Thanks leatherup - I'll be back... |

| I had been looking for engineer boots for quite some time, and although there are many different styles and options on the market I wasn't sold until I found these boots listed on Leatherup! I did have to exchange them for a half size bigger and the fit was almost perfect. I added a soft insert and they fit even more comfortably. Being a slim guy I wasn't sure if I would like the loose calf on them but the foot is nice and snug in the boot. They move a little up the top but it doesn't feel like you could kick it off your foot. That is the style of the boot to be loose at the top. The leather is high quality and they look really sharp. 100% satisfaction and a price you can't beat for the quality you receive. They could easily charge double for the boots and it wouldn't be ridiculous for the quality you get. I will be ordering again and again for all my leather/biking needs. |
