So if you're the max thigh measurement for your size, they'll be a tad snug, but still comfortable. If in doubt measure a size up. You can always pop more rivets into the belt to fit your waist if you need to. |

Had to trim down the leg length a bit and punch an extra hole in the belt -- but the thigh width is the hardest to fit and these were perfect. |

| I received these yesterday (3 1/2 work days to right coast) and was pretty surprised by how heavy the leather is. I was concerned because my jacket is very heavy and for this price I thought they would look cheap. Not so they are very close to my $400 jacket. Snap out liners are great. I road last night in them at 38 deg and was not cold at all in my legs or thighs (need some of these for my hands). Fit was perfect as I called before ordering and was told to measure around the top of my thighs sitting down and arround my jeans. Worked like a charm and did not have to send back. I will look here for my next leather purchase. |

| I would love to give these chaps 5 stars as there is so much good quality quality leather for your money. They keep you very warm on those chilly rides, and the sizing was perfect ( go by the leg size not the waist ), but after the second time I put them on they ripped at the belt threads. But after a few stitches they were back up and on the road. Also it's great to remove the warming layer during the summer for the winds. |

| I bought these chaps for one reason, to ride from Georgia to Arizona, 1800 mile ride in three days on a 1971 Electra Glide, with no fairing. Temps were cool but with the insulated liner it was very comfortable.The deep pockets ensure items remain secure while riding, waist is adjustable in the back and has a belt adjustment in front. The snaps and zippers are of heavy quality. The leather is soft but heavy. They fit nicely, I used the measurement chart and went with the leg measurement. I would/will buy these chaps again. |

| These chaps have proven perfect for temperatures in the 50s-60s. Living in Southern California I will not ride in weather much colder than that, but I imagine they would do well into the 40s. I followed the sizing chart and they fit perfectly (I am 6', 240 pounds with a 37" waist and 26" thighs) and are extremely comfortable. I did not even have to trim for length. The deep pockets are secure and quite useful. When the chaps arrived one snap was broken but I found a small bag of extras in the pocket so there was no need to send them back. I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so. What a deal! |

| Key words "Naked Leather". I previously returned a pair of chaps I ordered elsewhere that didn't fit correct, nor was I satisfied with the stiffness of the leather. They were a good price and looked good but just cannot compare to these chaps I purchased from LeatherUp. Love em ! They are soft and comfortable and easy to move around in, they are top quality in every way as far as leather goes, tough and thick as well. I got the medium. I'm 5'8", 159#, 23" thigh, 35" waist and 31 length. These fit perfect for me. There's a little room for extremely, and very very cold days so I can add long johns under my jeans. Otherwise these chaps are much warm enough just with the jeans. The pockets are great for when you are stopped and take your gloves off for keeping your hands warm. as well as for your keys etc.. If you are serious about riding chaps, don't go any further then right here at LeatherUp and their NAKED LEATHER CHAPS. You can't go wrong. Hope this helps in your decision.

the fit is good( a little long,perhaps - he's a solid L size wise, but a 30 length), and the feel was sturdy but nice and supple.
we live in the mountains. it gets cold early in the season, and we have a real active deer population. this fall, should he run into a deer on the way to work(4:30 AM), the bike and the deer might suffer, but at least these 'll help keep some meat on his bones! |

| I ordered the naked unisex chaps XL along with the naked B7277 jacket. Although my thigh size measures 23" thought I would play it safe and go one size up. Wrong decision. The XL is a 24" thigh with a max. 40" waist. Just didn't fit properly. I was fortunate to sell them to a neighbor who was looking to buy a pair. I then ordered a pair in L which is a 23" thigh with a max. 38" waist, and good length I am 6' 2" 175 lb. I wear a 34-34 jean. In the waist they fit well with the lacing through six eyelets in the back, which gave me the flexability with the buckle up front. Decent chaps for the price! |

| I decided to take the risk of ordering something to wear and, following their recommendations of measuring the thickest part of the thigh, 28 inches said 5XL ?? Sounded bad and I wasn't so sure of the grade of leather.
Delivery day was 3 days and bam, on my door. Tried them on and not only are these alot thicker and nicer than I anticipated but the quality made my jaw hit the floor. Liners rock but I'll never need 'em. OH and all chaps come LONG. Just measure under your ankle as you're sitting and cut to fit. I achieved a perfect fit (I'm 5'10" wear a 38 jean but my beefy thighs need ROOM)

| I ordered these chaps and they arrived earlier than I expected. I tried them on and the liner really kept me warm. The leather is thick and the liner makes them thicker which is perfect for highway riding.

I had to exchange the chaps for a larger size because they were a bit snug on the thigh. The only problem is the new size fits the thigh well but is a bit too baggy on the leg. I'd recommend these chaps for men however, the fit was not ideal for a curvy women. Looking back I would order chaps designed for a womens body (not unisex) and would follow the size chart according to thigh size. |

| At first, I tried to cancel the order because of the size. Boy am I glad I tried them on first. DO NOT use your waist size to order by, use your thigh size. With my waist, I should have orderred an XL. I have big legs so the 4XL actually fit. It was even a little tight! I cinched up the adjustable waist and now have a great set of chaps. |

| I bought these and when they arrived the tag said size 44 and the fit was loose. I normally where a size 36 waist levi boot cut jean. I returned them hoping to get the correct size but I guess these were really popular /and the other size was not in stock. After a couple weeks waiting and the weather warming I called and had them resend the same size back. They fit a little loose but they are a great pair of chaps. The quality can't be beat for the money. This is about the 5th or 6th time I have ordered from leather up and I will continue ordering from them. | Chaps were made of very nice leather. They are very heavy & made well. For warmth definitly good! Leather Up got them out very quick and no problems. Sizing is the only problem. Make sure thigh size is right on rest will adjust. I have 25" thighs, 6' 1" and 230 lbs. I ordered 3X but, to large, 2X was perfect. Leather Up handled the exchange with no problems. Will and have buy again. |

| Great chaps, good quality. **Order by thigh size** The fisrt pair I ordered were a different type and I tried ordering by waist. I had to return them and then ordered these, by thigh size. Returns take 3+ weeks between sending them back, order processing, and then receiving them. The snap in liner is great for riding on those cold days/nights. The price was far below what I had seen a similar pair in a MC shop for ($60-$70 less). Will keep doing business with Leather Up. |

| Great Fit the measurement chart is right on. Have worn them in 27 degree weather and worked great. So far I have just worn them in cooler weather, love the deep pockets. Ride my Harley to work just about 95 percent of the time so they work great. I would recomend these to anyone.

As far as the fit is concerned -- I am a pretty big guy. I have a 38-40 inch waist, but large thighs. The 4xl fit as well as anything else - A little tighter in the thighs and looser in the waist than I would prefer, but certainly tolerable and as good as anything else I would be able to find.
This was my first order from Leatherup.com. Shipping was fast & the items ordered were exactly as advertised. I will order from Leatherup.com again without hesitation. |

| After reading about the product, i chanced and bought a pair. YES, order one size larger, and they will fit great, especially if you wear thermals underneath. These chaps are pretty good quality. The liner is awesome. Since I got these a couple of weeks ago, i have worn them on long rides at 40 degrees, and with a thick pair of thermals, they are outstanding. I don't begin to get cold legs for several hours. The pockets are roomy and deep, great for stashing your smokes, cellphone, or even a small pistol. I think to get anything warmer, you'd have to get a snowmobile suit. This website seems very good, my chaps arrived faster than i thought,within a few days, with NO regrets. Simply trim off a few inches to fit for length. This is a 5 star purchase. thanks for such an awesome website |

The inside liners are very nice and the leather is nice and thick. I have no doubt that in cold weather and highway speeds these bad boys will do their job. The only complaint I have is that when in the riding position the pocket opening spread out and expose the thin fabric pocket lining letting wind/rain seep in. Adding a snap-down storm flap over the pocket openings would be a simple solution. |

| Recieved these last month, very good quality construction. I wear a size 36 waist size and 5'10" tall and the XL was a perfect fit. Length wise is easily adjustable by cutting, but in my case it provided a little protection for my boots. I was very satisfied with the thickness and quality of the leather. The snap on liners are sweet! As far as my last ride with them, they provided great protection from wind and cold temps. I would highly recommend these. |

| Great quality heavy, soft leather. Had to order a 3x to fit my thighs (5'8", 190#), but they fit well. Buy based on thigh size, and go a little bigger than you need. Also bought the naked leather biker jacket: Great quality heavy, soft leather. Inserts are thin rubber and I took them out. I wear a large (16" neck, 34-35" sleeve shirt) and that's what I ordered, it fit right on. Got these both in naked leather instead of the buffalo leather. |
