Really like these pants, I usually wear a 33 waist so I ordered the 34's. They are a little loose but a belt takes care of that. As far as length I had them hemmed and glued 2 1/2 in. shorter.

Outstanding!! Great pair of leather pants. Always wanted some but the price kept me from owning them in the past, then I discovered LU. You cant beat this company, I did order one size up, glad I did. A perfect fit and the deep pockets are a plus. This is nice leather! I also ordered a pair of lose fit leather pants for cold weather riding. Sweat pants fit great under the leather to keep the cold out. Thanks LeatherUp. I"ll be back.

Easily trimmed to length. I did mine in half inch increments and tried them on each time. DEEP pockets are nice when you don't want stuff in the back pockets while riding. The fit is just comfortable for me. I tried to wear the seat out of them on a ride from Kansas to South Dakota, all around the Black hills and back, and failed. Forty plus hours in the saddle! Very good breeches.

David from COLTON, CA:
This was the second pair I bought the last one were for me when I was 350lbs now at 220 I needed another set, I ordered the wrong size Im a 34 in pants so thought 34 leather would work? NOPE needed a 36 they fit great , So definitely take the advice of all who say buy a size up from your normal pant size. Shipping took a while but here in CALI don't really need them until weather chills again. However they will be my primary pant in August when I'm heading to Sturgis, so they will be worn just about every day during the 3-4 day rides there and back and around SD. The products I have bought over the last 7-8 years have been as described and of very good quality. thank you, and your prices compare to those leather sales places that frequent the rally's "laughlin, Vegas, and bike weeks all over.

Richard Y. from COLLIERVILLE, TN:
Great Product. Although I was told to order a size larger, my correct size fit me very well. Decided to keep both pairs. The larger size when I wear heated clothing underneath and one for without. Who can argue with the price of this garment? That's why I could keep both pair. Still both are less than than one leather pants elsewhere. The product is a quality made product. I am extremely happy with both pair.

Kirk. M. R. from Portland, ME:
May 2016 Kiro - Northeast USA 2nd pair of these pants from leatherup - lost weight and required smaller. Difficult to beat the price - truly a bargain for what they cost. I like them quite well but have two issues relevant to both pants I have. The rise of the pants is short on me, workable, but short/low slung. Also, the belt loops are barely adequate to use a 1.5" belt width, which I view as standard size for a riding belt with jeans - and yes, I bought them to ride in. Ordered one size lager than my waist size and I can wear these stand alone or over jeans/shorts - excellent. Easy to cut for length; I then formed and glued a 1" hem to fit. If there's a better value for leathers than leatherup.com I sure would be intrigued to know about it - excellent value!

I'm usually a 36"W 34"L when I buy jeans. I went with the suggested size up of 38. The 25" thigh is perfect and the 35" inseam is perfect for riding without pulling the cuff up off my boots. The waist is a little large but leaves me room for an IWB CCW without pinching. I hope they don't stretch out at all over time, then there may be an issue. Great quality, the weight is perfect for motorcycle wear, not too heavy for just walking around in. Pockets are nice and deep for keeping things where they should be.

LU always has the very best deals on MC Leather. These pants are of very good quality. I always go one size up when ordering from LU as their stuff tends to run small. I thus got a XL, but it is bit too big. I am 5'9" and 198 lbs with a 36 inch waist. I am going to keep these XL's and buy another pair in just large. Great deal for the money!

Scott W. from PORTLAND, OR:
First I would like to thank the others that came before me and left reviews of their experiences. The cumulative brain trust and the shared experiences therein provided great guidance for my purchase and experience. As delineated in previous reviews these run small (about one size) so I recommend one size up. As previously mentioned these pants will probably require an alteration/hem as the legs are quite long. One reviewer recommended hem glue, if this works for you I say go for it, but I have a tailor that specializes in leather ( Finding a tailor that works on leather can be a bit of a challenge at times.) I prefer investing for the long term, doing it right and looking at the long term value. With the pants priced right the tailor fee was worth it. When we were measuring for the alteration she commented on how nice these particular pants were which I thought was quite nice as she is of some local renown for her works. So I think these pants are of a better than average quality. As far as the durability and the long term its too early to tell but I remain optimistic. They are certainly priced right and it appears to be a smart buy. I recommend giving them a try.

Very impressed with these pants as with every item I've purchased from LeatherUp.com. I normally wear 31 in jeans, got the 32 in these and it's perfect. I have pretty big thighs for a guy my size so I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to go with a larger waist size. They're well made with heavy leather and the liner is nice. Length isn't as extreme as I was expecting. I used the leather hem glue to get them where I wanted them. Exceptional buy for the price!

I recently bought this item. Do go one size up. I took the advice of those who wrote a review and it was a good. call. The pants fit just right. In addition to the mentioned, it came in in a timely manner. With Leatherup you can't go wrong. I have been ordering here for awhile. I bought the leather shirt plus the brown Harness boots to go with the pants. Awesome deals here!!! Keep doing what you do Leatherup.

Cesar P. from Clarksville, MD:
Bought for ridding. Fit is great and fit just like my jeans do. Value for the dollar is excellent. I bought another one for one of my sons who also rides and he loves them. Many reviewers indicate that you should order a size larger. I did and had to return them as, in my case, and based on physique, I should have ordered my jeans size to begin with. If you are regular build and wear jeans size 32, order 32, if you are soft in the middle, then you may want to go a size larger. The length is also great, long enough to compensate for the riding-up of the pants when riding a bike. The hem glue works perfect.

Wow, I just received this jacket and it is awesome. I was going to return it, but I like it too much. This jacket has a worn in look. All seams are a little faded. I chose one size larger and it is perfect for adding a sweatshirt underneath. The arms length is perfect. I really like the look of the logo on the back. This jacket is much nicer in person. If you want a jacket with a worn in look, this is the one. I'm very happy.

Kerry K. from Weiser, ID:
As far as quality, these are spot on for the price. My brother could not believe that they are real leather! My only issue with them, and I'm REALLY surprised no one else has mentioned this, are the front POCKETS! They go clear down to my KNEES!! I assumed that this HAD TO BE an issue that the "Quality Control" department missed in a BIG way!! I called LeatherUp Customer Service about this, and they told me that this bizarre anomaly is NORMAL - that they are ALL like this... I have to take my jacket off to be able to get my arm all the way to the bottom of the pocket to get change and/or KEYS!!! All the way to my ELBOW just to pull my keys out!! Too bad I don't have the arms of an Orangutan!! It would be MUCH easier!! Fortunately, I have a seamstress that will be able to close off the pockets to the same depth as NORMAL pants... I TRULY can't believe that NO ONE else has written in about this issue. The fact that no one has but me, tells me that these ARE factory defective, but they didn't want to do anything about it... Frankly, this is the only issue I've had with LeatherUp. Their products and service have always been top-notch. This particular one has me a bit disappointed though.... If there is ANYONE out there that has purchased these pants and had the same issue of POCKETS ALL THE WAY TO THE KNEES, please let me know with a reply!!

James S. from Ochelata, OK:
I purchased one each of these pants (Classic Fitted) and the Classic Loose Fit. I wear a 38 inch waist normally and ordered a 40 in both pair of leather pants. The fit was just fine for both. The difference I found in these two pants is the height of the waist. The Classic Loose Fit has the higher waist. I like the higher waist better, but I know others may like the lower waist (Classic Fitted) better. Maybe this will help someone trying to decide which of these two pants to order.

I purchased the men's leather pants classic fit for under $100.00 ....these are terrific. Went with one size larger and they fit perfect. My normal jean size is 32x32 so I bought the 34x33. You can't go wrong with these pants...fit and quality are superior. Delivered very quickly. Leather up is always great to do business with.

ALAN L. from ALPENA, MI:
These are heavy grade leather. For me, the waist and butt fit great but the legs may as well be loose fit pants. I would need huge thighs to fill these pants. I bought a pair of women's leather motorcycle pants, on sale , that fit better. The only difference is, the zipper on the fly is reversed....it's left handed. I would not buy these again for myself.

I am 5'9" and wear 31 waist, and 30 inseam pants. I ordered size 32 and they fit good, just a little snug, but fitted clothing is supposed to fit that way. I am going to bring them on a 2700 mile road trip so they will fit me much better after wearing them in. Quality is very nice especially for the price, and they got to my front door quickly too. I also plan to wear them to some local motorcycle events and see how the opposite sex likes em'! Very happy and yes I fully recommend this item.

Good deal bought 2 pairs. 1 my size for shorter rides 1 next size for longer rides. they are really comfortable even when riding. Work great in the cooler weather. I was going to try gluing the hem, but it is beneficial when riding in cooler weather the cold air wont go up your leg when foot is on the highway pegs. Then when you get off just fold the cuff inside. Thanks again.

Real nice leather pants, two inches bigger work prefect for me. I wasn't real sure about leather pants, But when you ride cross country 600 - 700 miles a day you get as many bugs on your shins as you do your wind shield. So about every third gas stop I would scrub my wind shield and then scrub my shins.

Unlike most of your reviewers we have a MOUNTED PATROL and these are a new addition to our uniform. We now have a dozen pairs of these great leather jeans in sizes from 28-36 and both riders and public are most enthusiastic. We added a couple inches to several pair for our 6' members because we like them "stacked" like our Wranglers. May be a little warm in the heat of summer but great for three season wear. As to sizing, it has mostly to do with a rider's build. Regular sizes fit reg/slim while stocky/stout need one size larger. Finish and leather are excellent as was the service!. Will be a "staple in our stable"...thanks L/U. kamloopsmountedpatrol.com

While I don't plan to be buried in these wonderful pants, they are perfect for retiring and moving back to coastal Rhode Island (from the warm winter's of the wouthwest.) They are both stylish and a perfect wind breaker for morning walks (or any time) in January when those cruel north Atlantic winds or a polar vortex will blow around. With a pair of thermal underwear, I will keep toasty warm. Thank you for an excellent product.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered these leathers. The first pair, despite a lot of miles, are still in perfect condition. The only reason I ordered another pair is due to a big weight loss on my part. These pants are comfortable and very durable. Worth every penny of the cost!

I bought these for riding and followed the suggestions to buy a size larger. it was a wise decision. the thighs are still a little snug even though the waist is a little loose, but that's what belts are for. I do wish they had been a little longer, I'm 6'5" and 250 with a 36" inseam. they fit but I like them to gather just a bit on my boots when standing so they fit right when riding. overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Absolutely tremendous for the money - Leather is cow hide but is tanned well so not rough and stiff and has a nice shine - Has Metal Zip with Metal Button not a Snap including a spare - Well made with double stitching and Jean styling so durability is eminent - Front Panel is one piece adding to Styling although there is a cross seam at knee on back side - Fully lined with nylon to well below Knee - I'm 5' 6" @ 220lbs and typically wear 36" Lee Jeans - I bought 38" and the fit is the same (tight side) - I'm so confident in performance I bought another pair immediately in preparation for a tour through Quebec in May time frame (cold & wet)!! Hemming is required so need to have local Tailor to shorten and stitch to fit. Highly Recommended!

John Davies from BOTHELL, WA:
Ordered a 36 size a few years ago and I really liked the fit. Due to the American diet...I had to recently buy one more size up (38.) Checking the chart, the fit should be the same (same thigh measurement,) which is what I was looking for, just two inches bigger in the waist and inseam/outseam. Product arrived, thigh measurement was not accurate on sizing chart. It measured at 27"...similar to a 40 waist. I attempted to get in touch with Customer Service...but nary a response. I liked the previous product and service, but this current interaction has probably lost them a customer. Maybe a review will initiate a response to my emails.

Joseph F. from HORSHAM, PA:
This would be the third pair of leather jeans I've ordered from LeatherUp in the past five years. Every pair that I've bought has been great, until the one I purchased last. I ordered a size (34 waist) since I'm a size 30-33 roughly. When my package arrived and I opened it, the bag it was protected in was labelled "34", obviously. Unfortunately, when I tried them on, they were quite tight, so I looked at the rear label, which read size "32". I searched for a return slip, there was none. This was the first mistake LeatherUp has ever made. I figured, sadly, since it would be more time-consuming and costly to return on my part, I simply kept these. Make sure, whenever you order from LeatherUp, (from any business for that matter, that you request a Return Slip included in your package).

Dennis B. from KNOXVILLE, IA:
Received mine Jan 20, 2015: These pants fit great. I normally wear a 34x33 pant and ordeed the 34. The cup area seems a bit tight; I hope they will stretch out a little. But, just in case they do not, I will be ordering the 36 as soon as they become available; just for the extra inch in the thigh. I WILL keep the 34s switching back and forth until the 34s stretch a little. These 34s will work great with a normal cotton shirt tucked in. How you like the fit of your slacks will make a difference on the one size up or your size I suppose. I plan to wear the leather shirt I bought through LeatherUp with the 36s and tuck it in so the extra inch in the waiste should be beneficial also. Good product, super fine cut for fitted, if life is due to quality these leather pants should last years beyond years. Order out and to my door was very, very reasonable for winter delivery. Thank you LeatherUp; looking forward for the 36s to be available soon.

Absolutely love them, very satisfied with the pants! At first, I bought the loose fit ones, but they were too big for me. I'm a 5'-4" guy with small body. Returned them and went with the fitted instead, so glad I did! As other buyers suggested in the reviews, I ordered a size up and it fit perfectly. The leather seems top quality and the finish is superb. I'm not a biker myself but I bought them to wear them to parties and discos. Can't wait to use them! Beware that you will have to hem them as they come in raw form.

Great pants, nice fit, well made, great price. I 0rdered one size larger and the fit great. I first ordered over pants, one size over but they were too small in the waist and too long in the crotch. I returned them for the leather pants. This is the 4th leather product I have ordered from Leather-up and have always had good service.

Good quality product and a great value. I am 6 ft 1 in and weigh 185 lb. I wear a 33 jean and I ordered a 34 leather pant. The fit was good but the leg length is short when I am on my bike. To make it right for length I am going to add about 3 inches to keep my ankles covered. Overall a stylish well made pair of pants and a great value.

These pants fit great and feel and are high quality for the money. Real leather that does all the great things like wick wind, keep you warm and look great. Most important they feel like they would protect well if you hit the asphalt.
