Lance M. from Stanley, NC:
I bought the larger size, 38 versus my regular 36, and it was too big. Exchanged for 36, fit great. Long enough for my 34 inch inseam. Feel great, comfortable to ride in. Have not ridden too much as it's too hot here. So can' speak to durability.

Steve B. from ANTELOPE, CA:
I can't say enough about these pants. I took them in to have them hemmed a bit and the dry cleaner there was so impressed with them he said he was going to buy some for himself. He thought, I mean really thought, that I was lying about the price. What you get in these pants would normally cost between $200-$300 he said. I believe it. The quality is just fantastic and if I rode more I would buy another pair. Hell, I may even get another pair and dig out my old rock guitar and dress up in leather like the old days!! Don't think twice....get these pants!!!!!!

Tracy L. from LAUD LAKES, FL:
I bought these one size large based on customer comments, I'm 32/33. I'm thin, and probably could've gotten away with my true size 32. The leg width almost made me appear to have hips. hahaha! I used fabric glue to hem them to length, and it worked as well as paying for a bone fide alteration from a dry cleaner. These pants were right on the money, amazing in every way, and my very first pair of leather pants. Love the leather smell! A friend of mine introduced me to Leatherup when it had a 15% off sale. I later took advantage of another 15% discount during July 4th weekend because I had an event to attend the next weekend. I'd definitely buy from Leatherup again!

Rhodes H. from BROOKLYN, NY:
I had to return a pair of women's pants because they didn't fit and they didn't have anymore women's leather pants so I got a quick refund. After checking the site for a month they still didn't have women's leather pants. I decided to try a pair of men's . They are exactly the same pants but just fasten on the opposite side however once closed you can't tell. Who cares anyway? Bought these to wear not to ride. These pants are made from very good quality leather much better than the leather pants you find in department stores. The sizing is right at least for my size. They are not hemmed and that is fine because I have long legs and usually have to take the hem out on pants. The pants are very well made, fit great and look fantastic. The only con, you need to let them air out for a day or two because they have a strong leather smell. Very happy with my purchase, great customer service and I would recommend.

Love 'em!!! They're well made and look great. I followed the suggestions in other reviews and ordered a size larger and the fit is perfect. The only reason I rated durability a 3 is because only time will tell how durable they are. These would sell for far more on other sites. If you're considering leather pants, don't hesitate. These are a great bargain.

Leo A. from FARGO, ND:
After reading about these pants, and how they ran small, I ordered 2 sizes larger than my size. I wear a 38. So I ordered a 42. There just a little bit loose, but I can always have them taken in at a Leather shop that does alterations in my area. They hemed them real nice. I'm not sold on glue holding them hemed. Cutting them and leaving them like that looks cheap as far as I'm conserned. But these are a GRATE pair of pants for the price. No doubt about it. They'll also be nice and compfortable on the Bike. Which is just what I was hoping for. Thanks Leather Up. Another fine Sale. Which is why I keep bringing you my business.

JAMES D. from SAN ANGELO, TX:
These size 36 leather pants are buttery soft, beautifully made and fit like my size 34 regular cut Wrangler jeans: Slightly snug, not baggy anywhere and really comfortable. For this level of fit and quality, these leather jeans are a super bargain. Don't ask me how I know this, but the odds of getting a pair that fits nicely the first time are better if you'll order the next full size larger than your normal jean size.

Joyce H. from SUN CITY, AZ:
Long story - short...these pants are very nice. Ordered and received in a timely fashion. Immeditately got an e-mail from LeatherUp soliciting a review....I waited. Wore the pants 3 times and the right pocket shredded inside. Called LeatherUp and they provided a return shipping authorization, stating the repair would take about 3 weeks...OR they would provide $15 for me to have repaired locally. I opted to have them make the repair. 4 to 5 weeks later, received a package from LeatherUp and found my pants returned. But, SURPRISE, no repair had been made - NOTHING!!! Called LeatherUp customer service to find out what happened. They apologized and provided yet another return authorization, and said they would certainly EXPEDITE this repair. Sent it back on Feb. 6. On Feb. 22, I called them again, and was told they did receive the pants on Feb. 11, and sent to be repaired on Feb 18 - A Week Later! That's expedited??? Again, with apologies, they promised to keep me informed of the expedited repairs. Well, on about March 9, I finally got a call from LeatherUp. They told me the pants could not be repaired, and offered to replace them. I agreed, as that was what I requested the first time I called. Then, on March 11, another call from them to inform me that since these pants were replacements, there would be no warranty on them - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, LeatherUp!!! My experience with a major manufacturer tells me that replacements assume the original products warranty, but I'm tired of dealing with LeatherUp. The new pants arrived today, and seem to be just fine. Won't be able to wear much since weather has really warmed up, so I suppose they're right, no warranty because it will run out on original pants by the time weather turns cold, again. Seem to be great leather pants, but LeatherUp customer service is quite lacking.

Jan B. from Stansbury Park, UT:
Love them so far! Weather's still dicey here, so they've been worn three times, but so far very nice. I usually wear a 32 in jeans so on the advice of other reviewers I ordered a size up at 34. They fit fine, but the tightness other reviewers have mentioned is in the crotch area, not the waist or the length. The waist seems to be true to size; the 34s are slightly large on me in the waist, but fit great through the seat. The only disappointment is the length, as others have mentioned...in the riding position there isn't a lot of leather left to hem up. In fact, I may not hem them at all. Still deciding. I may also look into adding a snap at the bottom of the leg to keep them from flapping. They have a pretty generous boot cut. Seem to be pretty well made, but the leather doesn't feel super-durable in certain areas. We'll see how they wear.

Ronald C. from BURNS, TN:
These seem to be a great set of pants. They are heavy duty. they are well made. I did find a few places in the leather that looked a little weak. Kind of like a shallow cut in the hide maybe? I would buy these again, but only to wear as a set of pants. not as a over the pants option. I bought them as a replacement for my old chaps. I thought i could get a size big enopugh to slip on over my normal riding pants when cold. I read all of the feed backs for these pants. I wear size 38 levis, i ordered size 40, thinking i could wear them over my levis. didn't work. they were to tight in the crotch area. I returned mine. I will be ordering another set of chaps to wear. overall great place to buy from. i have a leather coat that is wonderfull!

These pants are really heavy duty. The button on the front is really hard to undo so know that now !!! I slide into these pants because of that. They are a quality pair of pants that give you the biker look. I'm not really into chaps because the seem kinda silly to me for guys, more for the girls. So I choose leather pants instead. A good deal or the money.

Stuart D. from St Peters, MO:
Well made from high quality leather. Very nice at a very good price. If there is one aspect I would be concerned about it is that the inseam is a bit short. I have long legs and a 34" inseam and a 34" waist is my usual fit. Although the jeans came with a little longer than the advertised 33" inseam, I would like to have a little more length so I can fold the cuffs under and glue them for a more finished look than the "cut to fit" method. If you have shorter legs or don't mind the cut off look, you really cannot go wrong with these!

John B. from ISLE OF PALMS, SC:
These pants are an excellent value. In my case, they ran true to size. I'm 6'1" and 185 lbs. I normally wear a 34" waist, but I ordered a 36 based on reviews. The 36s were way too big. The 34s I reordered fit fine. I have a 32" inseam, and the 34" waist pants had no extra length to hem the legs. The length fits me perfectly with the unfinished bottoms. Fortunately, they really don't need a hem. Leatherup.com shipped very quickly, and their return policy was a real help. They credited my account for the returned pants promptly.

Barry O. from Pleasantville, Somewhere:
I am first time buyer from Leatherup. I am in Australia. I am 47 - 48 inch chest, 40 - 41 inch waist, 6 foot 2 inches tall and 205 us lbs. I went with a size 36. The only criticism of these pants is that they could have been another 1.5 - 2 inches longer. They are unhemmed and I did not trim them. Standing they look about right but sitting on the bike the leg rides up a little and can come up above the height of my boot. In a perfect world they would have been longer. I could not go with a size 38 for the extra length as they would have been too big everywhere else. I will keep these pants and consider getting a cuff added to give me a bit more leg length. They appear to be well made and comfortable to wear. Delivery was quick. Ordered January 7th and arrived in Australia January 17th.

Just got my Leather pants today and they fit great! (Make sure you order 1 size up from your regular size. I'm a 32 so I ordered the 34). Waist wise they fit me great but I guess because my legs are not that thick that these fit loose on me, but, other that that I love that they came fast and they feel and fit great. Definitely worth the price you pay for them.

Philip Raines from MORRISTOWN, TN:
I have worn these on one Motorcycle ride so far and they felt great. Be sure to order 1 or 2 sizes larger than you normally wear, especially if you plan to wear thermal underwear under them. The craftsmanship is comparabe to leather goods costing much more. The pants have very usable pockets, much better than several pairs of chaps that I have worn. These are my first leather pants, so I cannot compare to other brands, but i am very pleased with them considering that they cost a fraction of what most other brands cost. I would recommend to anyone who does not require a designer brand label.

Wow, I would rate these pants right up there with the best costing 100's more. Excellent material, first class stitching. High quality heavy leather, with the feel of your favorite jeans, fine fit. I really like the deep pockets, front and back, never worry about anything falling out as you ride. As usual, Leatherup is still the best in my book. Thank you :)

Got them from Fed Ex yesterday and I am very impressed with quality. My reason for reviewing is to comment on the many comments about ordering a size larger than you would. Seeing a 10-1 ratio of those comments had me concerned. But I usually wear a 34 waist, so I ordered a 36. They are only slightly loose on me, nothing a belt cannot fix. Given I just lost 10 lbs from the flu, once I get my weight back, that advice to order one size larger will prove to be the hot set up. Inseam uncut at 34 was perfect, no hem required. I will definitely continue doing business with these folks! Very good quality pants!

I wear a 32 in jeans so I ordered a 34 for these pants. Perfect fit! The only complaint is that they are not very long in the legs. They are perfect standing, but they come up to the top of my boots riding. I would like to see them longer so I could cut them to the correct length.

Fantastic value as others have stated--easily comparable to pants costing upwards of $200. I am 6'4 230# and normally wear a relaxed fit jean 36x36. I ordered the 38 waist and it fit exactly like my jeans (snug around waist and comfortable in legs but not too tight). Length is fine although I wish they were just 1/2" longer, but I stretched them a bit and got length almost perfect (i am sure they can be stretched more). The bottoms are wide enough to accomodate a boot, but are not boot cut. The leather is definitely not thin. Do wish back pockets were located a bit higher up for aesthetics, but they look fine. Bought a cool matching belt at Spencers Gifts.

William F. from SALEM, MA:
These are great pants, and I love LeatherUp's price - I would not have been able to purchase them immediately otherwise! My only complaint (and it's really a minor one, since this issue is easily remedied) is that the manufacturer just automatically assumes that every man who wears these is tall and long-legged. I'm 5'9" and have a long torso and short legs, so finding pants to fit can be a bit annoying (I have a 29" inseam). Shortening them is no issue - I have seen the suggestions here about buying leather glue at a fabric store (e.g. JoAnn's) and doing the necessary adjustments yourself, so intend to take care of that ASAP. Otherwise, I love these pants - they look great and fit well, and will go well with my leather vest (not purchased here) and my new leather jacket (which was purchased here). Very happy with LeatherUp!

I usually wear a 40 waist, I had ordered the loose fit pants in a 42 waist. With the loose fit pants you can easily wear a pair of sweat pants under them. I had ordered a 44 waist in the fitted leather pants, and they fit perfectly. The only down fall is that you may have to cut them to length, and with the liner they like to slide off your butt. Unless you wear a belt that is tight enough or suspenders. I love my pants, excellent quality. I will definitely keep doing business with Leather Up. I am very happy with the items I had bought.

JOHN M. from Papillion, NE:
Took the suggestion and ordered one size larger and they fit great. Actually, still enough room to wear something underneath for rides below 45*. Front pockets are REALLY deep. Having extra weight in the front, my pants have a tendency to get pushed down. With the addition of the liner inside these pants.... they start to slide off my butt. So, I do wear them with a pair of suspenders attached to a belt. Easy to cut off excess length and still have enough to keep the wind off of the ankles. Only wish the liner was a little longer for the cold weather, but then that's what I have riding boots for. I own a set of chaps, but having these leather pants sure helps keep the groin area warmer !! Also a great substitute for rain suit bottoms.

I found these pants to run pretty close to size. If you plan to wear them over another pair of pants, you will want to order next size up. The only negative thing I can find so far is that the thigh seems to be a little bit tight for me, but they should stretch with time and wear. Overall for the price, I don't think you will find a better deal.

What a bargin for the quality and fit. Do order one size larger than you normally wear. Pants feel and fit so well. Like the very deep pockets to keep safe anything you put into them especially if riding on a bike. Hemmed them up myself using glue for leather; did cut off about 2.5 inches of each leg to make a suitable cuff when turned under.........very easy to so. Have found every item I've ordered from Leather Up to be as advertised and exceeding expectations.

I bought the leather pants to wear over dress slacks on rides into work. Per so many other suggestions here, I bought 1 size up from what I wear, then a second size up to fit over my work slacks. That was perfect. I have worn them on a few rides into work where the temperature was below 50 degrees F (as low as 40). They have kept me comfortable. They look good and seem to be of heavy enough leather that they should offer some protection in the event of a spill. All in all a good purchase. As I have only had the leather pants for a couple of weeks, It seems difficult to rate durability. I set that at 3 stars because of the lack of time from purchase to this review.

The fit is similiar to a pair of Levis. I will need to wear them a bit to get them properly broken in; for my build the seat & crotch is snug, and the waist is loose. The overall construction seems durable.

OK, the debate is OVER. They're running SMALL. I wear Levi and Wrangler 38" and ordered 40". Real tight waiste band only so I'm going to wear them until they stretch. No, they can't have them back either. The manufacturing process allows for a slight variance in sizing. So I imagine it's a 60/40 chance they'll be too small and if you have "Love Handles", you better bet on the 1 or 2 sizes bigger, depending on the size of the love handles. Great material, zipper and workmanship. Trust Leather-Up allways. ( the reviews too).

CJ P. from VIENNA, VA:
I can't say enough just how pleased I am with these pants. Size ran true to a 34 Levis 505 for me, but I ordered these to wear as pants, not over pants. If you want to wear them over pants, you should probably go one size higher. Finish is superb, leather is glossy black, well textured with 1-piece fronts (2 piece backs) on the legs. The seams are stitched and then glued down, no loose threads. Seams are tight, lining is thick and seems sturdy. I am channeling the ghost of Jim Morrison in these... The leather is rather thick, maybe 1 to 1.1 oz. Thinner than my Cortech 1.3 oz jacket but heavier then garment leather that for sure, similar to a sturdy vest if that paints a comparison for you. I bought these for club wear but could just as easily see wearing them on the bike in spring/fall as an alternative to jeans and my regular riding overpants - perfect for when the weather is not too cold. These were a phenomenal deal, would have paid 2x in a store and still been happy. Hey LeatherUp don't raise the price though - I want a second pair!

Order your true size. Ignore these yayhoos who are obviously clueless as to what size they actually are. I wear 33X38 Wrangler 13mwz's. 6' 2"- 190# slender build. I ordered a 34. Guess what? Fits like a 34. These are NOT overpants. They are just pants. Overpants have zippers and snaps on the legs to allow you to put them on or take them off while wearing boots. These pants appear to be well made (in Pakistan). Wish they were longer in the legs. They should make them longer and allow you to cut-to-fit. Seem short from crotch to waistband, too. When I squat. some crack shows. I'm keepin' 'em. ORDER YOUR SIZE. Just because everyone is saying it doesn't make it true

Rick L. from CASTRO VALLEY, CA:
I always ride in Levi 505 jeans size 32/32. There's a little wiggle room in the waist and the length is a little long when wearing tennis shoes, but with motorcycle boots and in riding position, the length is just right. So, if I wanted a totally fitted look for the street, I'd have to say my size in jeans would be 31/30. I bought these Classic Fitted Leather Pants in size 32 and they fit me perfectly in the waist. I thought I would have to hem them, but they are the perfect length for riding. Maybe a little long for "posing", but I didn't buy these so I could look like Jim Morrison. I bought them for extra protection and some additional warmth while riding in cooler weather. I couldn't be happier with them. Best bang for the buck you'll find in a pair of leather motorcycle pants. And no one rocks harder than LeatherUp. Their operation is World Class. I ordered these on Labor Day and they were delivered three days later. I love you guys!

I ordered these Classic Fitted Leather Pants one size larger after reading the reviews, and while they were not as snug as I had hoped for, they will allow for layering for the colder rides. The leather was much heavier than I had imagined, and the quality was impeccable. Leather Up's delivery was timely and I couldn't be more pleased with the product and customer service. I have already recommended these leather jeans to several of my riding buddies and I am already planning ordering another pair.

I am a true 32" waist; 5' 10" and 150 lbs. I ordered a 32" pant and they fit me exactly like my Levis. The fit is perfect but there is no slack at all. If you are a 32.5 or a 33, you should order a 34. The quality is great. Im taking this pair to Virginia to keep with my bike there. Their maiden ride will be on August 7th, 2013 for the inaugural Prostate Cancer Pony Express ride of the Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina. Excellent product.

I took some of the suggestions and ordered these pants 1 size larger, I should have ordered my waist size. I have a 36 waist and ordered a 38 which was to big. I can actually wear them over my levis where they fit good. I was going to send them back but decided to take them into the local leather store and have snaps put in so far up the bottom of the pants. This way one those cold days I can slip them on with out taking my boots off. Delivery was speedy like always with Leatherup.

I ordered a pair for my husband. I took the advice of the reviews and ordered a size larger (36 instead of 34), which was too large. The next pair he wore twice before the stitching came updone at the crotch and zipper. They did allow me to send them to be repaired (after some hassle on the phone) and after almost 4 weeks I got them back---they did not repair the stitching by the zipper. Since my husband does like them and they are very nice leather, I am going to have them repaired locally. Doubt I would order from this company again though.

I have only tried it on at home, got a 38W and it's spot on. I wear 36W 31-32 inseam, about 5'10" 205 lbs. I tried it with sweatpants for cold weather and without for regular riding days. I can even wear knee/sheen guards underneath and it was very comfortable. I do have to cut the legs about 2 inches as I have done on my brown one, which was a 40W, but that I wore / will wear during the winter months in NJ. I can't wait to wear it with my Xlement black executioner leather jacket when I get my new naked bike in the spring! Once again, leatherup was excellent as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRODUCT AND SELLER.

Nice quality pants. I ordered size 32 waist. They fit like original fit levis. The waist measured exactly 32 inches. Most new jeans sold today are a vanity size 32, which means they are probably closer to 33 to 34 inches. If you don't mind sending stuff back order two different sized pairs and send one back after trying them on.

Nice pair of leather pants. Compaired to my dress leather pants these Xelemnt B-7400 pants are heavier and are more of an over jeans or sweats type winter pants; I went from my usual 34 waist to a 36 waist for this purpose. The 36 inch waist is a little loose even with jeans or sweats under them but I can cinch them up with a belt, probably a 34 waist would work buy I am keeping them. I ordered one size larger as recommended. That was right on as the pants fit perfectly. I however, do not care for the shine that is on these pants. I think it makes them have a cheaper look. Plus my boots and jacket have more of a "flat" look which I think wearing the shiny pants would just not be flattering to the rest of my riding gear. Also, they must use some serious dye on these pants because they have a very stong smell to them. If I actually sniff them It gives me a pain in my head so for these reasons I will be returning the pants. I am going to order the "naked" leather pants this time. They are quite a bit more $ but will hopefully be more what I am looking for.

Exactly as described. Ordering the next size up allows me to wear thermal underwear comfortably underneath. Since I ride all year in Maryland this is an important issue for me. I own several pair of leather pants, chaps and shirts purchased from Leatherup. You can't go wrong with any of their products. I find it very helpful to read the reviews before ordering each product to get sizing feedback. However, Leatherup Customer Service go the extra mile to make exchanges and refunds convenient and painless should that become necessary.

I'm glad i bought them one size larger because I can wear shorts under them and have room to tuck in shirts. I love the fact that they are made in Pakistan also. !00% Strongly Recommended. Read many reviews before ordering a pair of these pants. When I did order them, I did as recommended, and ordered the next size up. The day I got them, I tried them on, and they fit like a glove. The are extremely comfortable, no breaking in time. The lining in them will definately help when I ride on cooler days. The only thing I can say I don't like, is they are night quite long enough for me when I riding. I am 6ft tall, and when sitting on my bike, the pant legs ride up to the tops of my boots, which is just above my ankle. So some wind does go up the pant leg. But still like them very much and will not be sending them back for because of that. Definately recommend them and the one size larger recommendation!! Steve W. from MEXICO, MO

I had a great deal of trepidation over buying the leather pants, as I don't ride a cycle, but wear the boots and jacket. Were they even going to come close to fitting? PERFECT, in fact I don't even have to get the hems sewn, I just tuck'em under, the hem rides my boot and roll on my way - beautiful. Thick and well seamed, tough durable pants, for sure.

These pants are a real deal for the price. Leather looks to be good quality, stitching is first class. The fit is excellent. As stated the sizing runs a bit small WHEN compared to other clothing, but I think that the sizing is accurate. The waist band on these pants measures exactly 32". If your between sizes go up one size if you like a looser fit. I bought these for motorcycle pants. I wear Bohn armor under them. In regular street clothes I fit in 30 or 31 Levis. With the armor on I need a 32 in Levis. The leather pants are a little snug in 32's with the armor on, a little loose without the armor. Being leather I expect them to stretch a bit. I think that 34 would have been too loose. Length is good as street clothes, but short for (on me) motorcycle use. With a tall boot they would be acceptable and tucked in would be fine Bottom line, excellent pants at a really great price. You won't be disappointed.

The product is good - the customer service is bad. The pants i bought did not fit. The policy is you can return your 1st pair with no charge to ship the exchange item back to you. I paid $27 to return the item only so they could say the new size i wanted was out of stock and reunded the purchase price. Then i go online and order the same pants they said was out of stock - a ploy to not have to ship my exchange item back. Customer service does not care about "customer service".

I bought a 2nd pair of the leather pants. The 1st pair are better in the legs than the 2nd pair, but both are still very well made and will keep us warm during winter cycle rides. Love them. Do order 1 size higher. Do use hem glue that is inexpensive. Works great on the leather.

For the price these are pretty nice pants. The length is good as they can be hemmed however, as stated before, I would recommend ordering a size larger as they run rather small. The leather itself is quite nice but the craftsmanship could be improved; there is a loose stitch and a hole opened up in a leg seam. I was able to fix this with some thread but I had to rip out the liner to get inside the pant to where the hole was.

Ordered a size larger like all the comments said and they were too big. Returned (return process was a breeze) and got a 34". They fit perfectly! I'm 6 foot and 184 lbs. The leather is very soft and they seem very well made. I couldn't be happier. I don't know how they provide such a quality product for such a low price. This is about my sixth purchase from Leatherup and it won't be my last.

Just got my leather pants in the mail which took 4 days. I wear 34 jeans and fill them but 36 is usually too big. I ordered the 36 and they fit perfect. No room for thermos. Low rise works with a belt. I am 6 ft. and 200lbs. Will not have to hem with my 34 inseam. Very soft leather. Stitching looks good.

Andrew Hamilton from Reston, VA:
I have owned a size 36 pair of these pants for several years, but I've lost some weight recently and decided to order a size 34. Unfortunately, when the size 34 arrived it was exactly the same size in the waist as the 36. Customer service took a week to respond to my inquiry as to whether their sizes have changed or whether this was a freak error, and even then they didn't answer my question, so I still have no idea whether I should reorder the 34 and hope it is correct or order a 32 instead. Beware: sizes do not seem to be consistent. I could maybe understand this variability if the sizes were marked as L, M, etc., but when they are marked with an actual measurement in inches they should be more accurate. One star lost for poorly marked sizes, and one star for taking a week to respond to my inquiry.

I received the leather jeans in short order and the quality seems good. Everything I'd read instructed me to order one size up so instead of my normal 32 waist I ordered a 34 waist. I don't know how the other sizes run but the 34's must be true to size becaue they were too large on me, like a true 34 waist. I've since returned them and am now awaiting the arrival of the 32 waist. Hopefully they also run true to size and not like the other pair or I'll recieve a size 30 waist and I'll be out of luck. More after the new pair arrive so stay tuned. I do have one question, however. If we are all told to order one size larger why doesn't Leatherup ramp all of the sizes down a notch so they will all therefore be sized correctly? Just sayin'.

these pants fit me great, the brown come with a little longer straddle ,but either way get them a size up,because they run tight in the waist and do not give like jeans do...leather up is the best,i bought them because i play in a rock band, and they do look sharp, and very durable, great comfort ,if it was'nt getting to be summer i would have a pair for evryday of the week, and i'm sure i will by fall...i have flags and things sewn on the bottoms of these pants ,so yeah they look tuff!!!leather up has the best deals you could ever ask for,and customer service are very kind, and service is great!!!i have vests too, they seem to also run a little small so if you have a beer gut you might want to order up on them as well...thanks leather up!!!

Pros - well made, nice leather and a very good value for the money. Cons - a bit lower rise than the blue jeans I usually wear (but not crazily so.) Suggestion - your local shoe repair shop or dry cleaner may be able to hem them for a more finished look.

I gave them a 4 only because I think the belt loops need to be thicker. I carry a gun so more belt loops or thicker ones would work better, I ordered the same size that I where in jeens. I actualy should have gone with the relaxed fit as I am 68" and 230, so I find them a bit tight in the theigh. If I was not 50 lbs over weight they would be pefect.

These leather pants are superb! i ask a leather craft friend who hemmed these pants for me how much it would cost for him to make me a pair. $600.00 - $700.00 was his answer! I like these leather pants so much I ordered another pair in a brown color. These leather pants fit beautifully (size right on!) and the leather is tough, but soft and supple to the touch. Nice job, guys! I buy all of my leather wear from leatherup.com.

Well after reading all the reviews I ordered one size larger 40 vs 38. They were so large they literally fell off. I sent that pair back for some 38s but they were on back order. Several months later they got in some 38s so I ordered those. Guess what, they still fall off me. I found the only way to keep them up is to wear them over top of my jeans which was not my intent when I ordered them. Plus they are baggier than I thought they'd be. Im not sending these back because it costs me each time, but needless to say I am really disappointed with this purchase. My waist measures 38 but I figure I'd have to order a 36 to get a pair that actually fits.

I wear a 38 in levi's, Order 2 sizes up, I did order the 40's and fit perfect, was 39 out the other day, beside underwear just wore these, did not know was cold out. I brought some hem tape at Wal-Mart turned pants inside out and stuck the tape down where I wanted the hem to be and pulled off backing tape and holds just fine, I bought the stuff that said was water proof, but with a 30 inch inseam you'll have about 8 inch left to hem LOL. With the silk/nylon lining from waist to knees very comfortable, great quality for the price too.

First purchased the loose fit as the Classic fit was sold out at the time. Love the loose fit. Perfect for wearing over a pair of jeans or even my dress pants when I take the bike to the office. But loved the quality so much, couldn't wait the get these classic fit. And so happy that I did. Can't believe the quality that you get for the price. And they look better than any leather pants I have ever seen. You just can't go wrong with these. Order one size up, in my opinion.

They are rather good. I wear a 42 and bought a 44. They fit well over my pants which is good for the Fall/Winter time frame since I ride all year long when I can. They held up in their first day of rain too. Keeps me warm on the 50 degree mornings well. Made only a small cut to prevent too much material under the heal when walking. Due to stiching in the inter thigh part it is not water resisten. the material is not a fold over sitch.

These leather pants are perfect for motorcycle riding. The leather is thick so that if you go down these will protect you. In the comments section it was suggested to order I size larger, for me the waist sizing I needed my same size as my Wrangler jeans. The one complaint I have is these pants are NOT fitted. The legs are very baggy and do not give you the fitted look. for the motorcycle they were ol the weight of the leather kept them from flapping while driving. But when walking around the legs were very loose and not what I would consider attractive styling. To be used for casual wear I would have have the legs tailored.

I work for a motorcycle dealershio and I could'nt get a simmeler pair of real leather pants whole sale at this price. Thay are made of good quality leather the stitching is tuff and thay look great. The ordering process was easy and worked just like Leather Up said. If you are wondering if you should and your just not sure. do it. For the money, you get a pretty good product. A little loose in the waste but the rest fits okay. Front panel leather differs from the backside which is seamed above the bend. but that's probably where you save the money. Most leather garments will run up to and above $150. I will recommend buying these pants. Seems I waited 3 months for them to get in stock. The Auto notification feature on the website didn't inform me of the availability. So if they are out of stock, keep checking back.

Everything I have ordered from Leatherup has been wonderful and very good quality too. I definately will order again! As far as the sizing goes,,,yeah. order a size larger than usual. Keep up the good work! Also, shipping is fast and cheap or free(as long as you order enough stuff), but at these prices you can afford it! Thanks Leatherup!, Curly Coeur d' Alene, Id.

Great pants! I was hesitant to buy any leather pants online, fearing a bad fit. But after a good experience buying chaps from LeatherUp, I revisited the idea of pants... after reading lots of reviews, it seemed that buying on the large size was a good idea. I wear 32 or 33 jeans, and went for the 34 pants. The fit was perfect! and they look as good as they feel. I have done a couple of 300 mile rides with temperatures from the low 50's to the mid-80's. Never hot or uncomfortable, and they have plenty of ball room, unlike a lot of jeans that fit as well. I definitely recommend these pants, at any price.

Outstanding quality! I wear 33/34 jeans and bought size 34. They fit perfectly. I would order true to size. Much thicker than expected, which is good. Like wearing a leather jacket for pants, good protection. I dont plan on wearing them over any other pants. Satin lined and feeling fine!. Hopefully the nuts stay fresh.

I got these and a vest for my boyfriend for Christmas. Clearly fine products but both were very very small. We've actually sent them back to exchange for 2 sizes larger but haven't gotten them back yet. We'll see how the sizes work out. I sure hope they fit because we went to their largest (Hey don't judge) and if they don't fit we'll both be very disappointed.

Never owned a pair of leather pants before, so this was kind of an impulse buy. Very pleased with the quality. I don't think I could have found anything locally for the same price. Didn't trust myself to shorten the pants to the length I needed, so I did get them professionally glued/hemmed. Unless you're really good at that kind of thing, I might recommend the same. Very heavy duty quality, and I'm sure these will last quite a long time. I was really impressed with the quick shipping. Very pleased.

read a few reviews, ordered a size larger than normal and within 5-7 days I had a great pair of riding leathers for 82 bucks including shipping. By far the best deal on leathers I couldve gotten. Maybe I couldve have found something similar on Craigslist, but would they have been new and come with a 30 day money back guarantee with no re-stocking fees? I DONT THINK SO. From now on, any motorcycle apparel purchase I make will be right here unless I want HD specific stuff. Thanks. As everyone said I ordered one size up. Waist fit perfect, legs were a bit loose for my taste but ok, the problem I had is they are like lowrider jeans and stopped right at the top of my... Well you get the picture. Its hard to be cool with your hind end sticking out. Leather was soft and good quality. I'm trying to decide on getting relaxed fit or just going back to chaps, incase all leather pants fit this way.

Taking the advise of some review writers I originally ordered a pant , for my guy, in one size larger (of a different style). They were too large so I sent them back (with no issues) and ordered the clasic fit Leather pant. They arrived right on schedule, in new condition with the scent of great quality leather. Comfy? He put them on and ended up taking a nap in them. They keep their fit even when he is on the bike and look way fine on him too! He says now it is my turn to Leather Up for our next long ride. :-) YEEEHAW!!

Nice quality pants. Only two real issues - I read the other reviews and ordered a size larger - they are a size too large. And I hemmed them standing up, rather than sitting on the bike. They needed to be almost the unhemmed length when sitting. Other than those issues, I love them. Large enough for pants underneath....

Nice pants, I ordered a size larger like everybody said to, they're a little on the large size. Have to wear suspenders to but who knows. lol Just right for wearing long johns under though. There was a belt loop that came loose due to bad stitching. figured it was easier and less hassle to grab a needle and thread and fix it than send them back. I'd definitely order another pair only next time the correct size to wear in warmer weather.

size 38 were 38 inches around waist. I am 37 in around waist, have a little bit of room. Really nice, thick leather, good hardware & stitching. Fit like a pair of jeans, med-high waist (just under belly button). I think I could have ordered a 36 if I wanted them to fit snug (I don't for this pair). Really pleased with these pants.

Taylor from St. Petersburg These pants are just fantastic. Top quality construction and materials. Great fit and comfort (do buy one size up from what you normally wear as they run REALLY snug). And surprise, they're long enough for me as I have long legs. In fact they're perfect length. I fully believe that these same pants have sold somewhere for $269.00 as the list price indicates. Love these pants - - good workmanship, well put together, good looking, one problem though - - had to send them back because they were too big at the waist. I followed everyone's advice and ordered one size up from my regular size. I normally wear a 31 or 32 so I ordered a pr. of 34's which I could put on and take off without unbottoning or unzipping. So, if it helps figure your size, I'm slim, 6ft., 155 lbs and the 34 is definetly too big (I don't have a beer gut which may be the problem?) Great product and even better service!

We bought a pair for my brother for Christmas. He absolutely loves them! I was afraid ordering them at Christmas time would be a hassel but it wasn't. I searched all over the internet for days for the best price for the quality & you're the best. I definately know I will be buying from your site again & refer your site to all my family & friends. Well built pair of jeans. Great fit with full leg. Rides on hips so I got away with my regular size - got to cut back on the beer. Easy to shorten - I used scissors. (Be careful. Better too long than too short.) I own the wide leg also but find these plenty roomy.

I bought these for warmth and protection while riding. What a bargain! I'd originally ordered these by accident, as I thought I was ordering the same pants as a friend did. I was worried about the quality when I found out he'd paid almost 3x the amount for his. I had nothing to fear. The quality and fit is amazing. All I had to do was have them hemmed. I'm done buying riding jeans that don't give me the confidence that they'll hold together like a good pair of leather pants will.

Rey Q. from Berkeley, CA:
The workmanship and leather is very good. The fit was very good but the rise on the back side may be a little short. When sitting down it tends to go a little bit low. The lining idea is good but may want to use a 50/50 cotton/polyester material so the skin will not feel sticky with the 100% polyester when it gets warm.

These pants are a great buy. They are nice quality leather and very well made, too. I am in between sizes (33 waist) and if you are too...order two sizes large just like they said. The 36" were just a tiny bit loose, but 34 was too tight.

Jeffrey C. from Summerville, SC:
LeatherUp not only delivered this item very promptly, but did so at a great price. The pants are very well made @ this price-point and I ordered them one size larger (as suggested by prior reviewers). I did, however, have to have the tailor put two darts in at the waist (belt area only) in order to take-up excess material. That allowed for a good fit. Note: the legs have a lot of room, so if one wants to put on thermal underwear it will be fine. They do have a short front, like a "low rider", so a belt is, IMHO, needed. I'm 5'-10", 172#s, with a 32" inseam. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied with regard to product and LeatherUp. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to you, and will do business with them in the future. PS: I've been riding since 1975 and it is nice to get what you order & work with a reliable mail order business.

I play in a rock band and got your classic five pocket jean pants to wear on stage. I thought that would be so cool and the only place I wear them. Was I ever wrong! The fit is so great that not only do I wear them on stage I have made them part of my daily wardrobe. I have never owned or had leather pants now I ask myself why. Thank you for a great fitting pair of jeans. Robert P. Tulsa, Oklahoma

I was a bit apprehensive about the size from the other reviews and as I have tried on many pairs of leather pants and never found any that I liked it made it more so. I bought the same size as I wear in Levi's and they fit just the same. I couldn't be happier and intend to order a couple more pairs.

The leather is thick and rugged yet still supple and comfortable. I like the fit and had plenty of length for making a good hem. A lot of bang for my buck, as usual with Leatherup. I've purchased; gloves, saddle bags, pants, chaps, jacket, 2 vests and very happy with the high quality and low price.

Awesome! Great pants at a great price. Follow the previous advice about sizing. I bought mine true to size because I like my leathers pretty snug. But, the feel, fit, construction, and look are awesome. You won't be disappointed. Also, they have a great leather smell.

Ordered these when it became apparent that I needed the previously ordered Loose Fit only for my multi-layered cold weather riding. I'm not as fat as I thought I was. Fit and finish is very good. Service is the usual top-notch.

I got my pants just in time to use them in my halloween costume this year and they were perfect for the part of a demon slayer! the fit great right out of the shipping box aside from being to long, they were made of the highest quality i had ever seen ( i actualy needed a pair of needle nose plyers to force the leather needle through to hem the legs) these pants will last a good several years and aquire a lot of milage.
