Greg P. from CINCINNATI, OH:
Recently lost weight and wasn't sure what size to get. Went with the 2xl, the fit is a little tight but not too bad. Overall the jacket seems well built and should last.

Really like the jacket but ordered based on your sizing info and it was too big even with the lining in it. have to return it for next size down.

Thomas E. from MORTON, IL:
Great jacket, I wear a large in all things, but got the XL for a bit looser fit and so I can wear more than a shirt under it, so arms were near the ends of mid fingers when wrists are loosened. Besides at 66 I seem to grown into larger clothing than smaller! Great construction, protection and with the removable lining adaptable. You can't beat Leather Up for value and quality. This is my second jacket from LU since my first was a mesh, I came back for value and quality, I can trust.

James C. from SULPHUR, LA:
Excellent Jacket! It feels very durable. I love all of the features on and in it. Shoulder and arm pads give me a lot more confidence that if end up rolling around the ground it will protect me. I have used the liner at 30-35 degrees F and kept very warm. Had to remove around 40 degrees or so, got too warm. Took out liner and was just fine. Rode in weather that started at 55 and ended up 70 and opened a couple of vents and it was fantastic. It is an absolutely great jacket! Excellent value for the Money and workmanship.

Walter L. from COOPER CITY, FL:
The jacket looks and feels great. At first I didn't like that the sleeves were so long, but after a few rides in 35-40 degree weather, I can feel the benefits of the longer sleeves. And on slightly warmer days, I cuff them in to shorten them a little. The removable liner makes it a little warmer when you need that little "extra" and very comfortable when you take it out for an afternoon ride. The "real" leather smell when you first take it out of the box was a little overwhelming, but that's just the nature of real leather. I especially like the vents for when the temperature warms up a little. It's a very comfortable jacket.

Great jacket. Good quality well worth the cost. Did have to exchange for a larger size. The chart indicated a size 2xl. exchanged for a 4xl and it fits great. Leatherup was exceptional on the exchange. Communication was very good and the exchange was quick. Will be a return customer.

I picked this jacket as a gift for my father in law. I checked it out when it arrived to make sure it was worthy. WOW !! The leather is sturdy, fit is perfect, looks classy, The shoulder armour is easily removable, the inner pockets are DEEP, the venting is quite useful and includes small vent holes for the armpits. He absolutely loves this jacket ! I am surprised at the high level of quality for the price. There are much higher-priced jackets that do not even approach the quality and craftsmanship of this jacket.

My husband is 6'3" 250 pounds. The 2xl is to small in the arms and across the chest, but it will fit when he takes out the lining. He loves the style so I will be ordering him a 4xl in the same jacket for winter riding. Great quality jacket.

Seamus O. from Ferndale, WA:
I feel it's a little deceptive to say it is "premium quality leather", when in fact it is "genuine leather", the second to lowest quality of leather. The only leather of lower quality is "bonded leather" which is basically just leather shavings that are glued and pressed into a sheet so that it resembles leather. A zipper for the upper arm vent broke the first time I put the jacket on, but Leatherup was great about the exchange process. They get five stars from me (I'm assuming the "premium quality" description comes from Xelement, not Leatherup). The jacket I'm not so sure about.

Super nice jacket. Definitely for cold weather wear. I've been riding in 45-50 degree weather, and had to remove the liner because I get too warm - and I'm definitely not a fan of cold weather! The leather is thick and the pads are decent and stay where they belong. Order up one size - I wear XL shorts and needed to send it back to exchange for a XXL. Exchange process was easy and quick. I have zero regret in buying this jacket - it is worth far more than they charge!

WOW is this jacket nice. You can not go wrong with the price for this jacket. It is HEAVY!! All the seams and zippers are nice and tight. If there is a downside it is that it runs a bit small. Not so much a big deal for me in FL as I just removed the liner and pads and then it was perfect. definitely size up if you want to incorporate those features.

This is a cool weather jacket, not for weather below 50 degrees F. The zippers allow cold air to flow through even when zipped. Very sturdy leather, looks good. Sleeves come down to halfway of palms even when hands are on handlebars.

Honestly a better quality jacket than I expected, it is heavy! With the removable liner, you can get three seasons out of this. I really don't see this as a summer jacket, even with the vents, but that is just me. Comfortable, feels sturdy, looks freaking great! I am 5'10, 215 lbs, got an xl, fits perfectly!

John P. from HOBART, IN:
I love this jacket. It arrived in about 4 working days. This is not lambskin but still has flexibility. The jacket has a a medium heavy feel, it looks and feels like it's built to last. It looks cool, tough, and slick all at the same time. The blacked out hardwear is a nice touch. Did I say inside gun pocket :) along with another inside storage pocket on the right side. I am 5' 10'', 222 lb's, and I ordered the XXL. At first I thought I feel a little bit of snugness, but then I remembered to take out the liner and elbow/shoulder pads. This jacket fits perfect. It has just enough of a roomy feel without that walking around stiff wearing a suit of armor feeling. The sleeves are just a tad bit long but nothing you'll even think twice about after you've been wearing it for awhile and gotten use to it. If I thought this jacket is great now, I can't wait till it has a few years of breaking in and distressed look to it. All in all i'm very happy indeed with this jacket.

Todd W. from Prairieville, LA:
This is a GREAT jacket for the price! I was stunned at how heavy-duty and the overall quality of this jacket. For the money, BUY ONE!!! You can't touch a Harley jacket of similar quality for no less than $400 to $500. Jacket is heavy, but you don't feel the weight as you are wearing it. I love all the pockets; especially the gun pocket. The armor is in all the right places for maximum protection. I am 5' 9" tall, about 175 lbs. The large fit perfect! I wear a medoum shirt, so I went up a size in this jacket. Fits absolutely perfect! Thoroughly vented--zip-out liner for winter a super plus! Thanks, Leatherup! You have just gained a loyal customer!

Steve F. from MOORE, OK:
I normally wear a Medium sized jacket, and this jacket was true to that size. The sleeves were about 3-inches too long, so a quick trip to the alteration shop and $20 later it fit perfect! I have owned leather jackets that cost $400 and did not have the same quality as this one. The leather is thick, which is what I want for a motorcycle jacket, and the zippers appear to be heavy-duty. I received several comments on how good the jacket looks. I would highly recommend this jacket.

Great jacket. Very heathy leather. I'm 5'7" and wear 36/38 pants and bought a large and it fits just right. The sleeves are a tad bit long but nothing to worry about. The armor is great and doesnt move around like some jackets. It's January now and the jacket is very warm for riding on colder days. Overall a GREAT jacket and a really great value!

Got this Coat two weeks ago and love the quality and fit very heavy leather and durable. I ordered a 2XL it was a little big but perfect since I will be layering other things under it. The arms are long and perfect for when you are on the bike. Would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a new coat.

David H. from Lake Charles, LA:
This jacket seems to well built but, the leather is pretty stiff making it some what binding. The sleeves are very slim and the length of the sleeves is too long. I even had my 6'3" brother-n-law try it on and it was too long for him as well. But for the money, what can you expect. And speaking of the money, it is still a good value compared to spending $400-$500.

Bryan S. from WOODSTOCK, GA:
Great jacket! Plenty of pockets and vents. I have only worn it a couple of times but it already feels like it is starting to break in. The sizing was a bit off. I went by the sizing chart and went up one to a medium. It was too small. I spent $30 to send it back and get a large which fits great even with a sweatshirt underneath. Great buy!

Very nice, heavy, quality jacket. I was debating between an XL and XXL. All my other clothes are XL and I'm 6'3" and 220. I went with the XL and it is perfect. I can still get a sweatshirt under it if needed.

David D. from GREEN VALLEY, AZ:
Ordered an XL and it fit perfectly. Ordered my normal shirt/jacket size of XL. This way the waist and shoulders were snug for me which is what I wanted. No wind leakage found in one hour ride this morning at 60 degrees and 70mph. Zippers are tight and will break in with use (I hope). The quality of the leather is high, construction is very good. Like the idea of a zip out liner, and armour! NOTE; This is a heavy jacket...I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy it was!! Smiles when I lifted it out of the box. Free shipping was very fast...boots and jacket came in three days. FedEx ground. Well packaged as well. Another excellent find at Leatherup! Thanks guys and gals!

I live in So Cal where temperatures can vary 50 degrees during morning to afternoon. Jacket is on the heavy side but I like the elbow and shoulder armour. Well made and comfortable. Air vents front and rear keep you cool. I ordered a 2X due after viewing the size chart. Good fit except sleeves are too long. Tailor at local Dry Cleaner shortened for $20.00. LeatherUp offers a great value. I am delighted with the Xelement Armoured jacket. Free delivery in three days. Thanks Leather-Up. Don; Indio CA

Impressed with the heavy weight of the jacket right out of the box. Ive worn it on a couple of 45 deg. Mornings so far and been very warm. Only 4stars for fit because sleeves seem very narrow at wrist. Fortunately I have small wrists so it fits me. Otherwise I love the look and feel of this jacket and look forward to wearing it for a long time.

Sweet! I love this coat fits me like it was tailored for me. Not a lot of room for layers under but if it becomes necessary for the price I will just buy another for seasonal wear (colder weather) and go up one size. I do not see how you could do better for the price.

John C. from OSSINING, NY:
The jacket fits well in spite of the fact that I went 3 sizes up to a 48 ( which is considered a medium in Xelement), normally I wear a 42 " jacket and my normal size is medium to medium large. Past expierence with Xelement taught me this. There seemed to be a spray coating of some black substance on my order which I removed with a wet sponge. After 5 washings the sponge stopped turning black and at that time I began to clean it with Lexol cleaner a few times and then with Lexol preservative and conditioner. The difference in appearance is dramatic. With the handling of the jacket three of the snaps broke...I could not tell if it was bad quality or a bad installation. For $12.00 my tailor replaced them for me. All told I am satisfied with this purchased. You would (or should) clean and condition any leather product you purchase and based on what I spent this jacket is well worth the money.

The jacket fits as expected, I went up one size as recommended. The shiping was timely and the quality is comprable to what you would see in the dealership, for a fraction of the cost. This is the second motorcycle jacket I've ordered for myself, I"ve been wanting this jacket for a while, not like I need two jackets, but the price was right!

The price is obviously excellent for a leather jacket. However, when I tried it on, it was much too short. I'm 6'3, 290lbs. I had read other reviews by people over 6'3" and no one mentioned that it was so short. I got the 4X even though I usually wear a 3X Long. Why don't they make tall sizes? The sleeves were ok but the body of the jacket was about 4" shorter than I would have liked it. Had to return it.

This is one great jacket, nice thick well made with full protection. I ordered 2xl and I wear xl in shirts, fits like a glove snug but not tight with liner in. I will be taking it out since I live in S. FL and we tend to be on the warm to hot side. Sleeves are just past wrist which is where they should be for protection and I am 36/37 sleeve. This is a great value and sure to last a long time. Service is great and I will be returning for all my leather, thanks Leatherup!

super jacket at this price. I find the armor makes it bulky but they are removable so no problems there. I am a big guy and find the upper arms are just big enough for me in my 3XL. I went a size up and the body is good - arms just so - as with pretty much all the leatherwear go up a size (or two) outstanding value so I bought the matching one for my girl

For the money this is an excellent buy. I'm 5'9" and 206 lbs and I ordered an XL. It fit for the most part. I had to take out the elbow pads so my arms would fit but that sort of thing is normal for someone who lifts weights. The jacket is very heavy and looks great. Sort of a new version of an old school jacket. I choose this instead of a $350-$500 jacket and I'm glad I did. I'll report back if it doesn't hold up. I'm pretty hard on my gear.
