| My son absolutely LOVES this jacket! We ordered 2 sizes up, as some of the reviews had said they had done. It was a little big but when cold weather gets here he'll be wearing another jacket under it anyway so will need that extra room. He said it doesn't even feel like he has a jacket on so it is very comfortable and cool. I, as his mom, like it because the bright yellow makes him more visible on the road and the piping is reflective for when he has to drive it at night. We're very satisfied and would highly recommend it. |

| Very pleased with this jacket. Very comfortable and lightweight. Riding in Florida, it gets very hot in the sun and humidity. They do run very small. I usually wear 3X shirts, which allow easy movement and comfort. Knowing how small most motorcycle clothing runs, I ordered the 5X. This is actually a perfect fit. Sleeve length is just right for reaching the handlebars, and length of the jacket at the waist is right. There is room to wear a heavier long sleeve shirt underneath without being tight and restricting movement. Soft collar and sleeve lining. I am 6'4" and weigh about 300lbs., so it is hard to find clothing that fits well. Excellent delivery time, from LeatherUp. I actually recieved it a day before it was expected. |

| So far, this thing is great. I ordered on a tuesday and had it on Friday.. cross country mind you. I ordered a LG, I am 5'10" 210 and it fits pretty good. If you are of a muscular build it may feel a little tight in the arms and a little loose in the waist/stomach area. I have a 49" chest and 36" waist (yes I did actually measure ;-D) and this fits pretty good. As soon as I got it I had to take it out for a test... it was about 85 degrees out and it was amazing. I am sure as the temps get 95-100 it will be warm (maybe even a little hot) but once the air starts moving through it I am sure it will be great. I could ride without a jacket BUT I feel more comfortable knowing that I have something real bright on so hopefully people will see me as well as having the added protection in the armor... just in case.... |

Its still pretty cold here in New Mexico so I havent worn it riding yet, but I'm sure it will be perfect for the 95 degree days we have here. Took a trip to Vegas for a conference right after I received it and it worked very well until I got to Vegas and promptly got in a traffic jam at 115 degrees. Nothing but AC would help at that point. The only drawback is the sleeves are a big long but I can live with that. |

The mesh design allows air to freely flow across your body when riding!! I've ridden on several upper 90's and 100 degree days and I stayed comfortable. | I'm 5' 10" and 155 lbs, so I ordered the medium. Glad I did, as I like my gear to fit snug on the road. Nothing worse than collar slap or a ballooning jacket flapping all over the place. The armor fit right where it's supposed to, and the air flows right through the mesh, making for a much cooler ride in the humid heat here in NC. Only drawback I've found is that the mesh can be said to have a scratchy texture, so if you have sensitive arms...... you may want to wear some lightweight long-sleeve shirts. But I've found short-sleeved works for me. Bottom line, if you want to stay cool, and still have some solid protection, you won't go wrong here!! Excellent jacket, and you simply can't beat the price or service!!! |

| Quick response to order, I did order one size larger than normal (XXL vs XL)and it fits. I am 5'11' 220. I live in southern AZ and would love to have this in a yellow/tan combination with an inside cell phone pocket. A little more reflective material at shoulder/sleeves and across back would also be nice for night riding. Definitely cooler and lighter weight than my all black, 3 season jacket. Would recommend but definitely order at least one size larger than you wear for other jackets. |

SoCal spring can be cold wet mornings on the coast with afternoons in the 80's. I also like having the sleaves long enough to reach my wrists. Very visible even at night. Maxi-airconditioned. | Solidly made, but much bigger than expected.
I am 6'0' and 215 lbs. My chest measurement is about 45.5". I ordered the XL, but it is way too big. Even when I snap the sleeves to their smallest setting, they are too big, and do not hold the armor in place appropriately.
I am exchanging it for a large, and how that is better. |

I called Leather Up, and told them how disappointed I was and how the defect wasn't enough for me to want to go through the hassle to ship back to them. I love to ride at night and wanted something that would stand out, something I could wear in the warm weather, something I would wear all the time that had protection in it, and something that was comfortable. I must say, this jacket provides that and more. It didin't tug anywhere - it was so comfortable, like I didn't have anything on at all just my shirt. My husband thought it stood out when I rode up to him, the air went right through it in fact I wore it riding in 65 degree weather and thought afterwards that a long sleeve shirt would have been perfect for those shady rodes. In the sun, it was perfect. I really like this jacket and I think I love this sight. I'm certainly going to order from them again. It think the price was very reasonable considering what's in the stores. |

| I bought this for those few days that are to hot for the regular armored jacket (I tend to be somewhat cold blooded) and it works great. For me, the fit was perfect ( I tend to be on the small side of a medium), and the quality was very high. All of the zippers, snaps, and Velcro closures and adjusters seem very robust. The mesh seems to breath very well, and the armor fits comfortably around the elbows and shoulders. For sixty bucks, this is very hard to beat! |

| Very nice jacket for the price. The only problem is with the length of the sleeves, they should be about 1 inch longer. I'm 5'11" 205 and the jacket fits nicely and has adjustments on the side. I live in Florida and considering how warm.....ok.....HOT it gets here, the design allows a lot of wind to go through the jacket while moving, keeping you cool and protected. It gets a little warm when your stopped, but if you can handle a traffic light, this is the jacket for you. The construction of the jacket is very good. I would recommend this to a friend or family member. |

| I'm rating this five stars for construction, visibility, and ventilation.
I took a chance and ordered this jacket with one part of the description saying it was yellow, which I wanted, and the other saying it was "pale green/silver mesh," which I didn't. It is bright yellow (and black)! Visibility to car drivers should be excellent. Construction looks robust. Contrary to the description, there is no chest adjustment. I'd been wondering how that would be done, given the pictures not showing anything.
These things run seriously small. I almost ordered a Medium and I would have had to send it back. I'm 5'10" and 174 lbs. and my Large has no extra room under it, which is probably good for holding the armor in the right places in an accident. I know this jacket is for hot weather, but it would probably be tight with a thick sweater under it. A shirt under it fits fine. Shirts that are 30-34 sleeve length have more arm length than this jacket. Reaching for something out in front of me with elbow straight makes the end of the jacket's sleeve ride up on my arm from my wrist about two inches, while the sleeve of the 30-34 shirt would still be touching it. I'd say the sleeve length of my Large is perfect to a touch short, but I suppose that could be good for letting in air.
This jacket is a touch shorter than average. I measured the bottom of the front of it at seven inches below my belly button.
I haven't worn it on a ride yet, but you can see lots of light through the two layers of mesh, so I expect it will be a lot cooler than my solid, armored jacket. I'll review the coolness of it after I wear it a few times. |
