Adam J. from Seneca, IL:
I am 6' 2" at about 190 lbs. and ordered the XL. Normally I would have to get a tall but this jacket fits great. the arm length was great and the body goes just passed my waist. The armor doesn't stiff and bulky. The inner liner can be easily removed and installed and the same for the armor. The only thing I don't like is the collar the velcro strap doesn't always stay strapped. However, at $190 you wont find a better armored leather jacket.

Nathan M. from PORTLAND, OR:
Fast shipping. If you are normally a medium get a small. I thought the zipper tab dangler things were ugly so I removed them. Also the two chest pockets are useless, would also look better if they just left those out altogether. Haven't been able to see how well it vents yet as it's been cold here so I've got the liner in as well as a hoodie underneath. Feels solid though, armor feels like it sits good. Seems like a good inexpensive option for a nice leather.

Larry N. from EDEN PRAIRIE, MN:
February 11, 2014 Larry N. Eden Prairie, MN I'm 5' 9", weigh 180 and ordered the large. it's a snug fit which I prefer and will find someone to shorten the arms. Thought about returning the jacket but reviewing the options at Leatherup convinced me I had made the right decision. The two most important features to me were the quality of leather and ventilation. In the past I've ridden with a heavy leather jacket without air flow and was miserable. No other jacket appeared to meet these conditions. The liner zipper is defective and Leatherup was going to exchange it for me but decided to do my own layering. Being from Minnesota, I've learned a few tricks to stay warm. I can't speak to the durability of the jacket as it's been below zero here for almost two months and that makes riding pretty miserable but based on the leather quality, detailing, and fit I expect good results. I fully expected to pay return postage and would have been happy to do so. Buying online provides many choices, good products and outstanding value. The advantage of shopping a retail store is immediate feedback on size, material and finish. The disadvantage of retail is price. Someone needs to pay for brick and mortar and that someone is the shopper. I'm happy with my choice!

William H. from FAIRMONT, WV:
This jacket feels great and seems to be very well made..The only problem I have with it is the sizing...I am 6'1" 245lbs and have a 48" chest...According to size chart should take a med or large, I ordered an XXL thinking it may ran small and it did...The jacket fits perfectly..

James K. from NEW YORK, NY:
I just received the Jacket. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It fits well. I'm in between sizes. I've been looking for the right combination of fit, function and style. I ordered and returned several other jackets because they either didn't fit well or didn't look good. One jack looked gread and fit will but wasn't thick enough. This jacket has the best combination of the three. I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs with long arms so I can fit in a large or medium depending the cut of the item. It sucks b/c I have try on everything before I make a purchase. I have yet ride with the jacket but I'm sure it will be fine. I am concerned about the zippers. I've read in other review that the zippers will go eventually. I'm also had an issue with two customer service reps. I placed a second order that was sent to the address of an old employer which they kept on file from an order I placed 4 years ago. The reps were rude and not helpful. I had to call the old employer to track down the package and arrange for me to go there and pick it up. Very inconvenient. I'll probably never order from Leather up for that reason and they don't provide return shipping labels. I've made purchase from three other websites and they all provided free return shipping lables. You guys need to get on that. Just a suggestion.

I am 6'2" 200 LBs and an extra large fits me perfect. the back armor is more of a Pad than CE armor, Zippers are not YKK... but the leather is high quilty and it looks really good. over all the jacket is great and i would recommend it for the 200 dollar prize

June 2013. Yes, I recommend this jacket. I'm 270 lbs, 5.10 ht, 44 pants waist. Size 3XL good fit. Nice smooth leather grain. Many surprize positive features. Full waist & eight inch kidney belt are zippered bands and in my opinion are to sew onto a set of pants...not really kidney belts. Zippers are plastic not metal. Thinsulate liner easily removable. I am a repeat Leatherup customer. Shipping was accurate and timely.

Very, very nice jacket! If you are under 6 foot tall, do not hesitate to buy this jacket for one second, you WILL love it!! ***BUT*** it is NOT for people over 6 foot tall!!!! I am 6' 4" and 180 lbs, and even a 3X is not anywhere close to being long enough!! It is almost 6 inches short of coming to my pant waist line. It comes to just above my belly button!! The sleeves on a 3X are the perfect length for my long arms, how can the rest of the jacket be THAT MUCH too short!?!? Ridiculous!

scott k. from BERKLEY, MI:
while overall i'm quite happy with the jacket, a BIG chunk has been taken off the rating due to non-YKK zippers. the ones on my jacket (i also have orange vulcan lettering on the tags) look cheap - and time will tell how long they last. if it's not long, the jacket is pretty much worthless. looks like i learned my lesson and will spend more money on tried and true brands (Alpinestars, Joe Rocket, etc)

Jose S. from SANTA MONICA, CA:
The jack has some positives and negatives. The leather, feel, and fit were amazing. very comfortable and very warm. However, my complaints are with the zippers. At 30 years old, I would like to think i know how to use a zipper correctly. However, within the first week of wearing the jacket, the zipper "stoppers" broke 3x. Once on the zip out liner, once on a random pocket, and once on the main zipper on the front. I zip up the jacket, and then im holding the actual zipper in my hand. Thank heavens my friend can sew... much easier than sending in for a replacement and paying the shipping charges. Maybe just my jacket was defective, but the zipper quality left a lot to be desired.

Just got my jacket and was very impressed. Fit and finish were excellt. I'm approx. 5'5", 165lbs and ordered a size small. It was a snug fit, but for a sport jacket that is just what you want. Leather seems very thick and quality overall seem good. Will need to put some miles on this jacket to really know for sure, but can honestly say out of the box I was pleasantly surprised!

Gary H. from PEARL, MS:
I love this jacket. I ordered my size but had to return it for a size up. The process was fast and simple. I am 6' 2'' and weigh 230lbs. The 2x was just a bit to tight. I got the 3x and I love the fit. I am not fat but I work out and have a lot of muscle. I think the jacket is European and I believe their sizes run a size smaller for us yanks. If you want a tight fit then order your size. If you like a little room to wear thicker shirts underneath then get the size up. Hey, everyone is built different. If it don't fit send it back and get a size up or down. They ship your jacket fast. It looks great and feels great.

ELBRIDGE L. from TIGARD, OR:
This has got to be the best bang for the buck ($190) for a leather jacket. I just wanted to say that I'm 5'-11", 220Lbs, wear between and L and XL for t-shirts and the XL I ordered fits fantastic. Maybe a little tight through the lats but loose everywhere else so I wouldn't want to go 2XL; that's for sure. Also guys have been complaining about the Vulcan zipper pulls being Orange instead of White; mine came White which was a pleasant surprise. I rode in this morning, high 50's (F), vents closed, left the liner at home b/c it's supposed to be high 70's later, anyway it was perfect. I think w/ the liner this jacket will be good for me through much of the dry winter days above 40. Anyway - I can't image finding a better new jacket for $190.

Grant R. from LOS ANGELES, CA:
Overall this is a great jacket. Except for the fact that the left sleeve wrist zipper broke the fourth time I wore it! All of the zippers are not YKK as it says in the description. Some of them are cheap junky zippers that break. The only solution I have been given by leatherup.com is to either take it somewhere and have it repaired and they will reimburse me or I can send it to them and they will repair it and have it back to me in 3 to 4 weeks. Pretty disappointing considering I have only owned the jacket for 12 days and only worn it 4 times. Buyer beware!

Johann W. from OJAI, CA:
I don't understand the other comments all over this site regarding sizing! I ordered a different jacket a year ago - all the reviews recommended ordering one size up, but my instinct said I should order my size according to the chart. So I ordered an L. I was SWIMMING in it. I am 5'11" 165 and in very good athletic shape. I knew that I would need an S. So I have been waiting for this Jacket in S for a year. I wonder why S is so sold out? Its because that is the size that MOST men would wear. Listen riders... I know americans like to wear things over sized but moto leathers should be FORM FITTING - that is what protects you if you go down. Look at the real racers. There is a reason they wear it snug. I got my S and to be honest it fits OK, it could be snugger around the small of the back and the biceps - it should fit like the picture. Just sayin'

Tad W. from MINNEAPOLIS, MN:
I went one size up. PERFECT fit. Its true that the perforated sleeves can be cold when the temp goes down below 50, but the liner does a fine job, and a hoodie plus the liner should do the trick! Otherwise the vents are AWESOME for air flow when the heat is on, and the leather is SOOO soft, yet thisk, and the armor is thick yet the jacket is VERY comfortable. Best leather I have owned so far! Leatherup hit another home run!

Great jacket for the price... worth every penny! -Pros: very comfortable, great ventilation, easy to remove liner, easy to unzip vents while riding. -cons: If i'm just being picky I would say the forearms are a little snug. Overall this is a wonderful jacket at a great price. This is my first Vulcan jacket and I would rank it as high if not higher than my Icon jackets. Great buy for the money.

I love the fit of this jacket! It is on the lighter side of the higher end jackets but it keeps you warm down to around 50 degrees....great summer jacket though. I did get the jacket and was surprized to see the tags had dark orange lettering instead of white. Still looks and fits great!!

Brennen K. from WELLSVILLE, OH:
Just got my jacket today and was able to wear it on my way to work. It is a much cooler jacket then I thought it would be. It is quite breathable. I wouldn't recommend for very low temps. It was 38 degrees tonight and I was extremely cold. Had to pull over and put my rain coat on. It will make a wonderful summer jacket though. I am 5'9" 185lbs and I ordered a medium. The sleeves are perfect length for me and the coat overall fits well. I could use another inch or two in the front and back but didn't want to order a large due to my short arms. The leather is excellent, soft and supple. The perforated inner arms allow great airflow and will keep me cool in the hot weather. Would totally recommend this jacket to anyone. Just not for the winter. Very happy thanks Leatherup

Christian H. from SOMERVILLE, MA:
I have had a few leather jackets over the years...this one is a winner. Nice cut ( I am 5'9" about 160lbs bought a large - fits true to size). THick leather, but soft. Nice full jacket liner. I have to say i do really like the collar - fits great with my full face helmit. Would buy again. I gave it 4 stars since not all the zippers say YKK on them.

This is a great jacket..I'm getting alot of compliments on just the overall look of it. I will take the armor out and wear it out in the city and my gf loves it. It is a very warm jacket even without the liner. I normally wear a 2xl shirt but had to order a 3xl jacket..when the 2xl was to small. I would not hesitate to buy this jacket again

Russell W. from TALLAHASSEE, FL:
This jacket is great! It's a nice weight and is very well put-together. I'm 5'8, 173 lbs and ordered the XL and it fits perfectly. Plenty of pockets and good ventilation. The zipper pulls are a little gawky-looking but are a great functional touch when wearing gloves. If you have ever struggled to grab a zipper tab, or even one of the "cool" metal zipper pulls shaped like a skull or whatever with gloved fingers you'll appreciate this feature. I had never worn a jacket with armor before and was concerned about that but it's perfectly comfortable.

Asher A. from Chula Vista, CA:
I received the jacket very quickly and was so happy. Jacket looked great, the leather was very nice, and it looked just like the pictures. Unfortunately it was too big (I'd crossed my fingers that it would run small like some other jackets). Paid return shipping for the jacket and I was refunded quickly without hassle. I was then hoping to buy Item: #B4510 only to find that as with most of the smaller sized items on LeatherUP, it isn't in stock. I hope LeatherUP will stock more jackets in size 38 soon. Please!!!
