Feras A. from TACOMA, WA:
For the price, ya can't beat this. Just remember that you get what you pay for. Remember to order one size up from what you regularly wear. It fits okay and its pretty bulky due to the armor. High visibility at night, and keeps me quite warm.

I bought this jacket for my 15 year old son who just got his license; I want him protected when he rides. He LOVES it! He loves the look and feels that if he were to spill that he'd be protected. I pray that he will never have to test this! (My son is 6'1, 160 lbs, w/ long arms; I got him a L (1 size up from what he normally wears) and it fits great.)

This Jacket was bought for me as a gift it is a very stylish, well-made riding jacket, I have had it about 1.5 months used it when hot & cold very versatile, and it matches my bike to the tee , I would suggest 1 size up better to be safe than sorry but you will not be disappointed .

Simply one of the best fits and quality moto jackets I've purchased. I am a 62 yr old male, 190, 5' 11" and no gut. I ride a 97 Valk all year long. Have done cross-country, long runs, cold and hot. I love the look and feel of this jacket. I have textiles, leather, and protection jackets but added this one as soon as I saw it. This jacket design and look and feel is Boss. Can't wait to purchase the textile pants that go with it. I wear a 42 Regular chest size for jackets and the Large fit just fine. It has a liner, has protection, and the textile is durable and looks the quality that can skid and protect. It has a bit of sheen to it so it looks kind of like leather. The wrists are adjustable Velcro and very sturdy. Zipper is large and easy to do. Just all around, out of the box I said, "wow wow wow" now this is an incredibly great priced jacket. I'm headed across the country in 2 weeks and will wear this one!

Anibal P. from SPRINGFIELD, MA:
Well I ordered the jacket to size chart when I tried it on it was tight. I sent it back for an exchange ( larger size ) me having to pay for shipment I was not delighted with that. Anyway filled out exchange form in package, when they received exchange was done and got it back. Took a few weeks. Jacket fits good now. Happy with product. So far it's winter here now have not been able to actually try it on the road. Please folks when going to order just get it one size larger than what you normally wear. Be aware of paying for shipping when returning for exchange. Do not know how it works for refund though.

I just got this jacket in the mail, good quality, exactly what i wanted BUT...its too small. I normally wear a 2XL, after reading the reviews, i decided to order 2 sizes up like others have recommended. So i tried my 4XL on and it was tight around the shoulders/biceps and i couldnt get it to zip up, no my gut isnt excessive. *scratches head* Im 6'1" and weigh 240lbs a 50 chest. Not a chance in hell a 4XL, so im gonna return it for a 5XL hopefully they are still in stock since i like the jacket in every other way.

If you plan on wearing the jacket with the liner and armor at the same time better go 2 sizes up from what you regularly wear.If one or the other is been worn then one size up other than that a very good buy will buy my next one 2 sizes up when back in stock.

Great jacket, appears to be made well, give me one riding season for updates, think it true on sizing (I ordered one size larger but really could have worn my normal size), jacket zipper could be of better quality and larger teeth, I used dry silicone to help with binding zipper. Jacket gives you high visibility.

Garey C. from SAN DIEGO, CA:
This jacket is a bargain! At the price point you are getting a lot of useful features and a very handsome jacket with a flattering tapered cut. I like the number of inner pockets and the Hi-Viz attributes. I ordered a large which fits me very well. I am a normal 42-44 chest size in a suit. If you have a bit of a belly you might want to go up a size as the tapered fit does conform to the waist. The outside armoring on the sleeves is a bit unusual but comfortable in the act of wearing the jacket. Also the arms can be adjusted to fit more snugly with the armor straps so they serve a useful purpose as well. Most of the jacket can be adjusted and put on and off while wearing gloves which is handy. I really like this jacket and particularly find the price point at which it is currently offered to be a great deal!

Guys, in my first few outings, this appears to be a well constructed garment. However, BIG GUYS TAKE NOTE. I am a 2x shirt size guy. I ordered the 3x size jacket thinking I was allowing myself a little leeway, but when I tried it on it was WAY SMALL. I returned the jacket for a 5x and it fits well, excepting that the biceps are a little snug. Overall, given the features and appearance, I think this was a great purchase.

I just received this jacket and I love the look and weight of it, but sizing is so off. I ordered 3x, one size bigger than my normal, but from the tightness, I'm thinking I need a 5x. I'll be returning this one, but ordering the same jacket, just bigger.

After reading other reviews, I purchased this jacket in XXL, one size up from my usual XL. The jacket fits very well. I have used the jacket from 48 degrees to 85 degrees. It kept me comfortable in both extremes. The jacket seems to be well made and the venting is adequate. I haven't had the opportunity to test its water resistance and haven't owned it long enough to comment on its durability. I am pleased with the jacket and highly recommend it to others.

Took advise on here and ordered one size lager and it fits great. Zipper is a little tricky to get stated but hoping over time it will get better. Vent are a wonderful thing and are placed so air flows good throughout the jacket.

I'm 5'7" 195lbs with a 44 chest 16 neck . I went with the XL and it fits great, sleeves have a little extra length but easily taken with straps. Very well made but a tad warm in 90 degrees , had to open it halfway at below highway speeds.

Great jacket. I ordered a medium and I was a little concerned it wouldn't fit right because I have long arms. When it arrived it fit perfectly other than when it's full zipped up it's a little tight around the neck. It is definitely a warm jacket even without the liner in. I think it's perfect for cooler weather, it's a bit on the hot side during warm weather riding.

Bradly H. from RUSSIAVILLE, IN:
I'm a very big guy, so I went with the 5XL. Fit is snug, but comfortable. I have noticed some tendency for the zipper to grab some of the fabric right around it, but nothing I can't work around. The armor feels like it should provide some extra protection. Wore it for my MSF class, in warm (but not hot) weather. Got a pretty good sweat up, since we spent a lot of time sitting or moving slow. On the way home that evening, it was comfortable. Have ridden in cool weather (upper 50's to low 60's) a few times since, and find it warm enough without the liner in. The vents help in warm weather, and I expect the liner will help in colder weather.

Bill H. from NEDERLAND, CO:
The jacket is overall solid for the price, but there are some quirks in the fit. The material is durable and well put together, although there are some minor shortcuts in trimming that reflect the price. I am 5'9" 200 lbs and usually buy a large which gives me plenty of room. After reading the reviews I went with the size XL (something I never do) and it mostly fits. The jacket only goes down to my belt, but the arms are long. I'm fairly wide chested and muscular and there is still plenty of room in the chest but tight in the gut. I probably could have squeezed into a large but wouldn't have been able to use the provided liner (not bad) or all the safety padding. Overall solid 3 1/2 - 4 stars. I'd spend more if I planned to ride thousands of miles in it, but for my short trips it's perfect.

This jacket is the answer to textile/leather construction!....LeatherUp has a winner that looks great, fit well, has a serious leather jacket accent and rides cool while allowing freedom of movement. I started the ride with 32 degrees and ended the day at 70 degrees...it handled all temperatures with liner coming out....got many complements bon the yellow color and black leather contrast....VERY visible and I feel like safety is increased substantially....LeatherUp has another winner...this was my 8th purchase that has been right on with quality, great value and looks...definitely and riders jacket....Ride safe.....Greg, Philadelphia area.

I purchased two of these jackets, one for me and one for the wife. I wasn't too sure if I would like the fabric mix with leather, but I must say "I love it". High quality, great fit, and looks great. Keeps the cold out on a winter ride. I would highly recommend this to anyone as I am sure you will live it as well.

I'm 5'10", 177 and a large fit perfectly. I like the vents for not too cold days for good ventilation and close the vents and add the zip out lining for cold days. Great wind protection. I don't ride in the rain, so can't vouch for that, but with the velcro zips all over, tons of pockets, the armor....and a first time scooter accessory buyer, I know I made a good purchase.

Coyle S. from SAINT CHARLES, IL:
This is a great jacket! I had to return the one I initially ordered - I ordered one size larger than normal and that was too small. Exchanging it was not too painful but was still a hassle that I wish I didn't have to do. I wore it on several rides in the summer - it's a little heavy for summer use, but just right for cooler temps. With the liner in, it's good to 40 degrees or so on a touring motorcycle with a fairing. It does a pretty good job of shedding water in a moderate rain - I stayed pretty dry. The leather has a somewhat acrid smell to it. Not too objectionable but not the sweet smell of higher quality leather. I thought it was fade over time and it has somewhat, but is still noticeable after seven months. I'd buy the jacket again, but would carefully consider the fabric-only version due to the leather's odor.

Reuel E. from DOUGLASVILLE, GA:
This jacket is quite nice for a very reasonable price. The straps on he inside elbows are awesome and easy to adjust. The zip out liner seems nice too . I say "seems" because I ended up returning the jacket. Another person mentioned the difference between the black leather area on the top of the jacket and textile material on the bottom. In my opinion I would have to agree that this might put some people off; it did for me. The yellow stripe is great for visibility and the white striped area is all reflective material. The padding is nice too but he shoulders tend to be a but bulky. Also the cuff was very scratchy. It could really use some padding around the inside of the cuff. Not to mention the neck line as well. The neck line on the jacket I had was also a bit scratchy too amd the snap at the top of the collar seems designed for left handed people only. I'm a righty so I found this difficult to snap closed. I'm 6 foot 3 inches, 230lbs and the 2X size fit just right.

3 hours ago I had the chane to put this jacket to the test...making a turn at an intersection I didn't notice the gravel that had been washed down by a rain storm earlier that day. The bike slid out from under me and I went over the high side. Slice damage to the seams of the jacket, some ground in dirt and a few scatches on the helmet. NO DAMAGE TO THE RIDER!!!! Very good jacket..cool and easy to custom fit..dont ever ride without one!

Marc J. from LINCOLN, NE:
As others have mentioned the sizing is a bit off. Get the next size up if you are right at the top end of sizing. I would have figured to be a L at best but the XL fits well. the large might have been too small. There are not many air vents so this might be a bit hot in the deep summer, but it's not terrible. The worst part are the zippers. They are all plastic and feel very cheap. The main zipper on the front catches about 6 inches up every time, going up or down. This is a good 'first jacket' but I suspect I'll be buying a better jacket in the next year or so.

Now what was that word to discribe this jacket ..... uhm o yea thats it "GREAT" !! I'm very satisfied with this jacket it fits really good , vents well. The only kinda negitive is the straping to keep elbow pads in place. Maybe some elastic inside the sleave could of helped keep it in place better, but still it is worth every dime for it and is comfortale for the ride. I still need to find to find good fitting pants to match the jacket and I'll be set.

Love the hi-visability, but I cut those dumb straps off the elbows very quickly. Fit and comfort is nice, remove liner and even OK at 70 degrees. Velcro Waist straps are a pain. they grab when you don't want them to, making it hard to put on and start zipper - you always have to release them 1st. WORST PROBLEM - ALL the pocket liners are VERY FLIMSY and tear open quickly when used with almost any objects. They need to spend a little money and make them out of Cordoba instead of light nylon and double sew all seams.

Roger from BUDA, TX:
I like this jacket but (as in another one I own from Xelement), the main zipper is too small - they cut a big corner here and this makes zipping up the jacket a chore. The zipper in the attached kidney 8 inch belt is bigger and better. They should have used this type of zipper. I also do not understand the velcro on the sleeves ends. It has a zipper so what? The velcro holds down the zipper? Style is classy and good. (I also would prefer that the elbow straps be removed. They really make no sense and mess up the look of the jacket.) Do this and this jacket will be 5 stars.

I'm 5'5" and wear a 42-43 Short with a 32 inch sleeve and the size Large fits perfectly. The armor and padding is properly located and the Kevlar elbow patch is adjustable to achieve a good fit. The adjusting straps, however, do cut off circulation if pulled too tight. Reflectivity is good, which enhances safety at night and in poor lighting conditions. The Velcro works well and is easily adjusted even with gloves. Comfort, at least on a cruiser motorcycle, is good. I've not tried it on a sport bike. Fits more closely to the body than a comparable Tourmaster. The only criticisms I have are that the liner is very cheap (the jacket is more comfortable without it) and that the jacket would be more attractive in either all fabric or a leather upper and lower section. It looks odd with leather shoulders and a black fabric lower. This is more a aesthetic complaint than a functional one, however. Overall, quite satisfied. Fast shipping was a major plus. 4 stars mainly because of the cheap liner.

Very nice and well made jacket - fits well, comfortable - rode in low 40 degree weather with total comfort - provided venting should work great in summer riding as well - could use more and larger pockets - between what the jacket and matching pants provide, no decent place for billfold-size items. Armor and Kevlar protection seems quite adequate, and stays put quite well.

Sue M. from St. Petersburg, FL:
I am a women and I bought this for myself. I didn't really like any of the women's jackets I saw and I can't really afford leather. This is primarily heavy nylon with leather on the shoulders and neck area. I like this one because it's yellow like my bike. Jackets are always very hard to fit for me because I'm short and pear-shaped. Normally I wear an adult XL shirt and something like a 20 petite ladies dress (I got a 2x as folks say it runs small). I just got this today and I think it fits well enough to keep it. I agree with someone that said it tends to be a bit snug in the upper arms in the area of the striping...at least with the liner installed(and I don't have popeye arms either). This jacket has armor in the collar bone area, the shoulder & rotator cuff area, the elbows and the back. The elbow area has straps that keep the elbow armor secured to your elbows. There are zippered vents front and back on each side in the top of the jacket. There are zippered pockets in the front on each side, zippers up the wrist area and two pockets on the liner that velcro and one is also a slip in pocket. There are velcro adjusters at the wrists and velcro adjusters at the waist. Men are a bit longer in the waist than women so the jacket is a bit long on me but not so much that it's uncomfortable. As someone said the zipper is a little finicky, you have to be sure to pull the fabric around it back or the end won't smoothly lock into the bottom of the zipper but otherwise the zippers at the front and the sleeves seem to be very good quality.

I've had the jacket about 3 months. Good jacket in warm to cold weather. I can not wear in when the weather is above 85*, too hot. I feel very safe in this jacket it is heavy duty and reflective. Well made and good looking. I ordered a size larger and it fits ok. The zipper gets stuck if you are not very careful zipping or unzipping. Vents work well. Ive ridden in 50* temps and have not needed the liner. Hope this helps.

Lawrence C. from COLORADO SPGS, CO:
Ordered a large, and the fit is just about perfect. The elbow area can be a bit uncomfortable if you are in a short sleeve shirt and do not use the liner, but a small price to pay for the protection. Well made, but wonder how the very soft leather will hold up in the long run. I would recommend this jacket as long as you don't have "popeye arms".

Eugen E. from RALEIGH, NC:
I originally ordered size L which is what I wear for polo shirts, sweat shirts etc but found it was generally tight and really tight on the biceps. The reflecting piping seems to cause a choke point in the biceps area. It has a removable liner which is very nice for a jacket like this. I feel very well protected and very visible which is important to me since I am pretty new to commuting on a motorcycle. I also volunteer in EMS and have seen what a slide on asphalt at only 15 mph can do if you aren't properly dressed.
