Greg K. from RIGBY, ID:
The workmanship is great. I love the visibility of the yellow along with the protection provided. The jacket is well vented and comfortable to ride in. I appreciate Leather-up and the quick shipping. I have ordered from leather-up before and will continue to order in the future.

I was very pleased with the quality of the jacket, however I'm a little disappointed that the company doesn't sell Longs. My son is 6'3" and the jacket didn't fit. I will order other products from Leatherup as I enjoyed doing business. Thanks.

Coyle S. from SAINT CHARLES, IL:
This is a great jacket! I had to return the one I initially ordered - I ordered one size larger than normal and that was too small. Exchanging it was not too painful but was still a hassle that I wish I didn't have to do. I wore it on several rides in the summer - it's a little heavy for summer use, but just right for cooler temps. With the liner in, it's good to 40 degrees or so on a touring motorcycle with a fairing. It does a pretty good job of shedding water in a moderate rain - I stayed pretty dry. The leather has a somewhat acrid smell to it. Not too objectionable but not the sweet smell of higher quality leather. I thought it was fade over time and it has somewhat, but is still noticeable after seven months. I'd buy the jacket again, but would carefully consider the fabric-only version due to the leather's odor.

Very nice looking and comfortable Jacket. Went to my local motorcycle store and jackets were way over priced and reflective jackets are even worst and they don't look half as nice as this one. You can't beat this price, no matter where you look!!!!

3 hours ago I had the chane to put this jacket to the test...making a turn at an intersection I didn't notice the gravel that had been washed down by a rain storm earlier that day. The bike slid out from under me and I went over the high side. Slice damage to the seams of the jacket, some ground in dirt and a few scatches on the helmet. NO DAMAGE TO THE RIDER!!!! Very good jacket..cool and easy to custom fit..dont ever ride without one!

Now what was that word to discribe this jacket ..... uhm o yea thats it "GREAT" !! I'm very satisfied with this jacket it fits really good , vents well. The only kinda negitive is the straping to keep elbow pads in place. Maybe some elastic inside the sleave could of helped keep it in place better, but still it is worth every dime for it and is comfortale for the ride. I still need to find to find good fitting pants to match the jacket and I'll be set.

This jacket is great looking, great fit, very functional, and a great price. The reviews I read before purchasing the jacket were right on, go for a size larger. With all the review information available you won't go wrong, as others have said in their reviews, Leatherup is the place to go for great prices, quality items, and service. Keep up the great deals and service Leatherup!!!!!!!

Charles Wesley K. from SAN DIEGO, CA:
I'm 5'5" and wear a 42-43 Short with a 32 inch sleeve and the size Large fits perfectly. The armor and padding is properly located and the Kevlar elbow patch is adjustable to achieve a good fit. The adjusting straps, however, do cut off circulation if pulled too tight. Reflectivity is good, which enhances safety at night and in poor lighting conditions. The Velcro works well and is easily adjusted even with gloves. Comfort, at least on a cruiser motorcycle, is good. I've not tried it on a sport bike. Fits more closely to the body than a comparable Tourmaster. The only criticisms I have are that the liner is very cheap (the jacket is more comfortable without it) and that the jacket would be more attractive in either all fabric or a leather upper and lower section. It looks odd with leather shoulders and a black fabric lower. This is more a aesthetic complaint than a functional one, however. Overall, quite satisfied. Fast shipping was a major plus. 4 stars mainly because of the cheap liner.

Great deal for the money. The quality is up there and the yellow color and the reflective tape are great for getting drivers to see you. I probably will be getting my wife one as well.

Very nice and well made jacket - fits well, comfortable - rode in low 40 degree weather with total comfort - provided venting should work great in summer riding as well - could use more and larger pockets - between what the jacket and matching pants provide, no decent place for billfold-size items. Armor and Kevlar protection seems quite adequate, and stays put quite well.

Sue M. from St. Petersburg, FL:
I am a women and I bought this for myself. I didn't really like any of the women's jackets I saw and I can't really afford leather. This is primarily heavy nylon with leather on the shoulders and neck area. I like this one because it's yellow like my bike. Jackets are always very hard to fit for me because I'm short and pear-shaped. Normally I wear an adult XL shirt and something like a 20 petite ladies dress (I got a 2x as folks say it runs small). I just got this today and I think it fits well enough to keep it. I agree with someone that said it tends to be a bit snug in the upper arms in the area of the striping...at least with the liner installed(and I don't have popeye arms either). This jacket has armor in the collar bone area, the shoulder & rotator cuff area, the elbows and the back. The elbow area has straps that keep the elbow armor secured to your elbows. There are zippered vents front and back on each side in the top of the jacket. There are zippered pockets in the front on each side, zippers up the wrist area and two pockets on the liner that velcro and one is also a slip in pocket. There are velcro adjusters at the wrists and velcro adjusters at the waist. Men are a bit longer in the waist than women so the jacket is a bit long on me but not so much that it's uncomfortable. As someone said the zipper is a little finicky, you have to be sure to pull the fabric around it back or the end won't smoothly lock into the bottom of the zipper but otherwise the zippers at the front and the sleeves seem to be very good quality.

I've had the jacket about 3 months. Good jacket in warm to cold weather. I can not wear in when the weather is above 85*, too hot. I feel very safe in this jacket it is heavy duty and reflective. Well made and good looking. I ordered a size larger and it fits ok. The zipper gets stuck if you are not very careful zipping or unzipping. Vents work well. Ive ridden in 50* temps and have not needed the liner. Hope this helps.

Buy a size up. Great jacket for the price. Fits good with the size up and leaves some room to layer. Kept me warm on a cold night.

Fits perfect. Great service and honestly more than I expected for the price. Also bought saddlebags which were equally impressive. I see no reason to shop anywhere else for motorcycle gear than right here!

Ordered a large, and the fit is just about perfect. The elbow area can be a bit uncomfortable if you are in a short sleeve shirt and do not use the liner, but a small price to pay for the protection. Well made, but wonder how the very soft leather will hold up in the long run. I would recommend this jacket as long as you don't have "popeye arms".

I originally ordered size L which is what I wear for polo shirts, sweat shirts etc but found it was generally tight and really tight on the biceps. The reflecting piping seems to cause a choke point in the biceps area. It has a removable liner which is very nice for a jacket like this. I feel very well protected and very visible which is important to me since I am pretty new to commuting on a motorcycle. I also volunteer in EMS and have seen what a slide on asphalt at only 15 mph can do if you aren't properly dressed.

I ordered a Lg and it was too tight under the arms. I felt an XL would be too big so I returned it. Other than that, the quality seemed very good.

I purchased the jacket size L and it fit me very well. The jacket is very well made with heavy duty fabric for protection. Besides with reflective trim for high visibility for driving at night. With the price, I highly recommend the jacket
