Max D. from Ranchos De Taos, NM:
As others have mentioned, order your jacket one size larger than you normally wear. This jacket has loads and loads of features that you'd normally only find in a much more expensive product. I'd buy another one of these in a second, should I ever need another moto jacket.

Kathleen W. from DOYLESTOWN, PA:
The best value I have seen. I wore the jacket when I went out west on a trip. It was 95 degrees during the day and I wore just the mesh jacket, which kept me protected from the sun but allowed free flow of wind. Then the early evenings and mornings dropped down to 50-60 degrees. I wore the full liner along with the 3rd quilted insert and I was just fine. This was the only jacket I had to bring. It worked perfectly. No other jacket I have had all these features rolled up into one.

Brenda C. from Melbourne, FL:
This was my first experience with Leatherup. Item shipped very quickly and great tracking info was provided. I had a slight problem with the first jacket which might have been a return or had some store damage because it had a slight stain under the arm and a difficult zipper. Customer service was very nice about offering an exchange and even changed the size for me because the first one felt a trifle too large. Since I live in Florida I will mostly wear it without either of the linings and like that the entire jacket is vented, not just a few panels. It could be a little more reflective, but its definitely bright. Overall, I think its a great jacket at a great price.

I bought this jacket for myself because I wanted the protection it offered in the warmer weather. I didn't expect it to be so heavy. But it is well vented. And I am very happy with the purchase.

Excellent jacket. Great price. Get it one size larger than normal and then even one more larger if you have broad shoulders. You are reaching for your handlebars and you need comfort in shoulders as you do. Chest, waist is adjustable with elastic and adjustable straps. No issues with protectors or zipper or quality. Super great deal. Highly recommend. It's all about shoulder comfort as to sizing.

Terry Miller from Pleasantville, Somewhere:
Other reveiws were correct about the shoulders being tight, order the next size larger. There is a long snag or light cut on the front panel, possible rough handling before it was shipped to me. Due to having to return the original for fit issue, I opted to keep this one because of a time restraint on a planned trip. Overall I like the jacket.

I knew to order larger than normal but needed to go one more size bigger for my shoulders. Very impressed by this jacket. Hope I don't ever have to put the skid plates to a test but feel very safe wearing this coat. Good price, good quality, good choice.

Angela R. from LONGWOOD, FL:
I love the jacket if only it was made with a quality zipper. The main zipper in the jacket gets stuck and won't zip so frequently I have to wear the jacket open with the liner zipped.

The jacket is awesome. It's a really good jacket for the price. The armor is really good for a mesh jacket. I can hardly wait to wear it.

Nice Jacket. It fits well, it is a great summer jacket, the wind flows through the mesh nicely, the liners go in and out easily. Well worth the money.

Excellent buy, beautiful garment, color matches my 2010 Goldwing Trike, fits my full-bodied womenness! Thank you Xelement! Thank you LeatherUp! Both of you have a friend in me! My only concern is with the zipper and time will tell on that.

Elizabeth C. from Osceola, IN:
Just got it, so I can't rate based on how it lasts. The yellow is more like a school bus yellow/orange, which is visible enough during the day, but seems to be light absorbing at night. I turned out the lights and shined a flashlight on it as well as my boyfriend's Tourmaster and my Fieldsheer. It was the worst. The reflective piping is not as bright as either of the other jackets and the yellow mesh absorbed light rather than showing up bright. My boyfriend's unnaturally colored yellow jacket spit back neon yellow passionately. My white fieldsheer showed white, although dull. The exelement yellow looked gray/black. I'm not too pleased, although I supppose I could sew on reflective ribbon for the cost savings. The fit is ok, but the inner mesh rubs my elbows a bit. I like the waist straps and the elastic at the sides. Seems super breathable which was the goal. I like that it's supposed to be 100% waterproof with the liner, but I haven't tested it. I got a medium (32 around bra size but 5 foot 9 and 160ish lbs with large hips and small waist), and I am glad I did. My fieldsheer is an 8, which would have been a small in this jacket. Small would not have fit. Biggest problem for me that is making me consider returning it is shoulder pad placement. They are too far back and don't provide the forward/anterior part of my shoulder any coverage. My fieldsheer's shoulder pads sit more forward to protect the front of my shoulder. I figure that, in an accident, I'll be flying forward and sliding across across my shoulders, collar bones, and full-face helmet. So, I'm not sure I will keep it. But, you can't beat the price. Some of the sewing internally is a bit scanty (pouch velcro for padding), but the externals look ok. We'll see. I can't find anything out there that is comparable for the price...
