James K. from Columbia, SC:
Purchased this helmet for the wife before summer and she loved it. Had to wait for more of them to come in and was finally able to buy an XL. It fit exactly as described and sizing was right on the money. You cant get a helmet with all these features for less.

Emmett P. from STOCKTON, CA:
I really like this helmet, the look is awesome and the fit is nice and tight the way I like it, because in time it will wear in. The built in head phones surprised me because I thought they didn't work because I could not hear much, so I investigated and found that they are attached to the straps that sinch up when you clip them together, after I seen the placement I was able to adjust my straps so that the speakers were directly on my ear.

I have a 2014 Harley Untra Limited, I first checked with Harley Davidson and the girl said it was compatible, after receiving the helmet and several unsucsessful tries to get to pare up I called Harley back and spoke to a man who said it was not compatible. So if you want it just to conect to your cell phone it works great but not to a HD bluetooth system.

The helmet is satisfactory--however the Bluetooth unit needs to be improved. While it paired withou a problem, the unit must be "reconnected" to my phone after each time it is switched off. The user's manual it pretty mcuh useles.

Fits nicely, it's comfortable. The Bluetooth is a bit cantankerous. My wife says she can't hear me due to road noise, but I hear her just fine. It synced up with my phone easily. The helmet is very hot when I'm not moving but ventilation is good when I am so, as long as I can keep moving it's fine but if I stop I have to lift the visor or the front module.

This is the second H-6607 I've purchase from Leather-Up, the first helment was great. I had an accident and it held up well, the visor and side of the helment took the blow with heavy scraps/gouges. The bluetooth works great with my Samsung S 5, both music and phone calls.

J Gregory P. from NEW CASTLE, IN:
The helmet is awesome...very clear speakers, and mic. User friendly. Great fit using the sizing chart and having someone measure my head. I don't like how the chin located vent opens. I'm afraid in a rain event water will enter it if opened to keep the clear shield from fogging. Weird design I think. The clear visor was extremely hard to open while on the bike but does seems to be getting easier with use. The dark visor is awesome. The helmet truly has it all. Great opinion of the product. I will be buying one more as a gift.

Robert A. from NAPLES, FL:
I purchased this Helmet on April 6th 2015 and is usually the case with Leatherup.. response and shipping time were superb.. I rode with the Helmet after making sure the Bluetooth was charged properly.. and paired with my GPS.. for 4 days.. I am very satisfied with the Helmet.. in terms of fit and finish.. and comfort factor.. But the Bluetooth is absolutely nonfunctioning and you cannot hear or understand anything coming from the GPS nor in paired with my cell phone.. can anyone hear me talking on mobile calls.. I am returning the helmet to Leatherup as discussed with Karen in Customer Service.. I do not believe the helmet itself is defective in any way shape or form.. but the Bluetooth as installed in it.. is useless..

James F. from WHITEHALL, MT:
I spent a lot of time reviewing this helmet and bought 2 one for me and one for my wife, the whole reason we bought the pair was for the blue tooth so my wife and i could talk when riding. The company delivered on time and were very efficent no problems there. What a miserable dissappointment the helmets were. the blue tooth works poorly at a full stop and works not at all above 15 mph. Spent 10 days wearing them on our trip to canada and had to go back to yelling at each other and hand signals. The helmet is suppose to for fit tou your head i think it for fit my head to the helmet my ears hurt for days. My wife had the same complaint. If you are looking for a blue tooth equiped helmet your money would be better spent on another brand.

Great helmet, looks good, works well. Runs a bit small tho, I've always worn a medium before, and this one is pretty snug. Feels fine once you wiggle it around on your noggin a bit, but bends the bejeezus out of my ears gettin it on. Overall tho, a very good buy.

Michele B. from Orlando, FL:
This is my second Hawk H-6607 Helmet, The first was purchased over 3 yrs ago and had to be retired after being involved in a motorcycle accident where my head bounced off the asphalt when I was side swiped by a car at 45mph. Needless to say it worked well protecting my head and so I've ordered another. The newer one has improved sound quality from my original which makes me very happy as that was my only complaint with the first one... it wasn't loud enough. This one is perfect as far as I'm concerned, I can hear my music, hear my pipes and can still hear what's going on around me. The fit is a little snug but will loosen up after wearing it for a little while. Finish could be a little better as I've only worn the new one a handful of times and it already has small scratches on it, just small minor cosmetic scratches, nothing major. But over all I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to a friend.

I wear a XL so that's what I ordered and it fit perfectly. It was very easy to connect to my iPhone. You can hear the music well at low speed. I took a phone call and could hear, and the other party heard me as well. Fit and finish is great. Good looking helmet. Everything I've gotten from leather up has been great. Leather up is THE place to get your motorcycle gear.

Troy M. from SEEKONK, MA:
I purchased this helmet in January and because of the weather here in New England, I wasn't able to use it until March. I used it for about four hours and during that time button that you press in to lift the front of the face broke off and not the face is locked in the down position. I working with customer service about getting it replaced but I haven't heard a response yet after 3 days. The bluetooth is OK but the helmet has a lot of internal wind noise so hearing anything while going over 50MPH is not really an option and the faceplate fogs up from time to time. The bottom line is I will try this helmet again if it is replaced. If not, I will be looking for a better quality modular helmet.

Chris O. from Nashville, TN:
Purchased two of these a few weeks ago. Finally got out on the road with them the past couple of weeks. Bluetooth was very easy to set up and control. It does seem to me that the sound is not balanced in the helmet. I seem to get a stronger sound from the right speaker than left. Helmet is snug, but I am not sue I would want to go up a full size. After periods of longer wear, I can feel some pressure points on my ears from the padding. I LOVE the drop down sun visor. So helpful when driving in the bright sun. the main face shield fogs easily especially on some of the cooler mornings I have been out. Did not have trouble when it warmed up though. Linked the two helmets I bought and communication system works well. I have not had any trouble hearing music, phone callls, or communication. At higher speeds there is some noise in the helmet, but I was used to a 3/4 helmet and this is much quieter. It is a good helmet. Not perfect, but great for the money.

Richard K. from ORLANDO, FL:
Very nice helmet. Fits snug like I like it. Blue tooth works well, just wish it had a bit Moe volume which is necessary when driving at higher speeds. I also wished the chin vent was built a bit different but all in all is the best helmet I've purchased in the 8 yes I've been riding. The visor works great for sunlight and glare and you can wear your own glasses behind it comfortably.

Adam P. from WATKINSVILLE, GA:
This is a great helmet, and I've been enjoying using it for the last few months. I live in GA, so its very hot in the summer and pretty cold in the winter and humid all the time, and this helmet has performed very well. The flip down sun visor is very handy and works perfectly, keeps the sun and wind out of your eyes, and is easy enough to operate with heavy gloves on. The bluetooth feature is very cool, but like others have mentioned, it is hard to hear at higher speeds, even with the volume all the way up. However, if you're not riding at 65 mph, the volume is plenty loud. My wife told me (over the sound of the wind and my noisy pipes) that she could hear me just fine, so the mic works well. The fit is comfortable, and again as others have said, you may want to order one size larger that what you normally wear. The modular face shield is also simple to operate, although it is a tad difficult to lift, and it helps to put the other hand on top of the helmet to keep it from shifting back when you open it. Also, the visor needs to be down before you lift the modular piece to keep it from scraping against the top of the helmet. I'm in the military, so a full face helmet is required when riding on post, and this feature keeps my face cool while riding in town off post. Yeah, it looks a little hoaky when you ride with the module up, but it sure beats having to reach in and wipe the sweat off your face when its hot (it gets very hot in GA in the summer). The chin flap is also very nice to keep your chin and cheeks warm when riding in cold weather (worked great for me at 30 degrees F without wind chill), but the visor fogs up very easily. It would be nice if the chin flap were detachable for this reason, but you can tuck it up in front of your mouth if the fog gets to be too bad. The vents can help with the fog, but don't do that much to clear it up fast. I usually just crack the visor up a notch to let some air in, which also lets in the cold, but not too much. I live in GA and its typically pretty humid, so keep that it mind. I doubt the fog would be as much of an annoyance in drier climates. The clip chin strap is also very comfortable and easy to operate with heavy gloves on once you get a feel for the catch. As to how it performs in weather, I haven't had the guts to ride in the rain while wearing it, but it opens up nicely to keep you cool when its hot, and then buttons up tight to keep you warm for colder rides. Overall, this is a pretty nice helmet that I would definately buy again and would happily recommend to any rider.

Frank B. from Flower Mound, TX:
Don't buy it for the bluetooth, way too quiet when the bike is off and forget it if you're at any speed. I have a pair of Sony bluetooth headphones that I can't use all the volume they crank out so I know the technology is there. I'll pay twice for a real bluetooth helmet. I tried to contact Hawk for a possible upgrade / recall but there is no way to contact anyone through their website, what a shame. So close to being a real deal.

Works well for me. I will only use the blue tooth to know I received a call. Then I pull over and take the call. I'm not sure how well it works at speed but I prefer not to be at speed talking. Helmet could use more interior air flow. For the price, it can't be beat. PMC NY

Mark M. from COTTAGEVILLE, WV:
The helmet, in and of itself, is a decent DOT approved helmet. It fits well and is reasonably comfortable; however, The Buetooth communications system is useless above 25-30 mph. The two helmets I purchased pair up with each other, my GPS or phone flawlessly but the volume is so poor I can't hear audio from the GPS, phone or my passenger if the bike is running much above idle. If you buy this helmet for the Bluetooth feature you will be very disappointed.

The best helmet I've had yet, ordered the same size as all the past full face helmets and it fits great. I wear glasses and having a modular helmet is great. Sun visor is great also it saved me several times when turning into the sun. Did not have a chance to use the blue tooth so no comment. Could use a little more air flow inside helmet. The service was great from leatherup also, I will be going back.

Joel W. from DEKALB, IL:
Awesome helmet for the money! I ride a Yamaha R6 with aftermarket pipe and I play Pandora from my Galaxy S3 phone and I can hear music just fine at interstate speeds (75-80mph). Only tried making a phone call one time so far, and it was hard to hear the other person above 45mph, not sure if it's the phone or the helmet. One speaker started crackling once and I cleaned the connection where it plugs in and now it works great! Also putting my phone in my left pocket seems to work much better, it cuts out sometimes if I have my phone in my right pocket. I wear a medium HTC helmet, got this one in a small and I love the way it fits, nice and snug.

Overall this is a good helmet, the fit is good, the bluetooth pairs to my phone without any trouble, volume is on the low side as many have said. My biggest complaint is that the liner comes out when I take off the helmet, I'm constantly readjusting and putting the liner back. At one point the liner shifted so much I couldn't drop the sun visor. I wouldn't buy it again just for that reason. Maybe I got a bad one.

I do agree that the helmet is a little on the heavy side and it does have a tendency to fog up during the colder ride times, but that can easily be rectified. With a built-in bluetooth in the helmet you can't get much better than this and the price was great.

very good value for the price--everything works---just a little on the heavy side but it is after all full face and flip-up..major mod I did right away waas to move speakers out of the strap pouches and into the ear recess-simple to do they slide right out, then you get direct ear to speaker 100% better sound. also put in slight insulation behind them for sound improvement. works well in cool and cold- we'll see this summer--phone and music bluetooth functions all work as advertised-just for that a great deal if youve checked out the Nolans

Tony C. from LAKE BALBOA, CA:
overall after only three or four days i am happy with the helmet. The sound seems to work fine up to around 50 but that could be misleading. i was in third and the rpms were up pretty high, if i had shifted into 4th or 5th i bet i would have been able to hear. Thats the only thing keeping this from a perfect rating but i just dont think you can fit an amp with enough power into a helmet at least not with current technology so im not sure i should fault the helmet for it. Cruising around town its fine, my daughter called me on it and she sounded fine and always says i sound great even if im reving up. The sunvisor does not come down far enough so i dont like that but it has great visiablility and is pretty comfy. Bang for the buck this is probably the best helmet out there.

It is noisier than other helmets i have had, but I've never had a modular helmet before. The Bluetooth system works fine, but hearing phone calls is not easy without a windshield if you are going over 40. Could also be my phone somewhat. I like the helmet for the price
