Dave S. from FAIRMONT, NE:
I usually wear a 2XL and I ordered a 3XL since other reviews indicated the jacket runs small. The 3XL is almost too tight, so definitely consider ordering 1-2 sizes up. Jacket has nice feaures, especially for the price. I do have 2 complaints-the zipper on the inner liner seems a little flimsy and I need to be very careful when zipping it to make sure everything lines up and works. The other complaint is lack of wind resistance in the arms. I can feel the cold wind right through the jacket. My leather is definitely warmer, but then I paid much more for my leather jacket also. Overall, this is not a bad jacket for the price, but if you want a really warm jacket you should go with something else.

Lane C. from KATY, TX:
I'm 6' 1" and weight about 250lbs. I normally wear a XL in a jacket and I used the provided measurements and according to them I should wear a XL with no problems. When the XL arrived it was skin tight even with the liners removed so I had to return it. I decided to replace it with a 3XL due to all the reviews saying the jacket runs small. The 3XL was the right fit for me. With or without the liners its a great fit. The more I wear it the more I love this jacket. There is plenty of air flow with the liners removed. The temperatures in my arena are still in the upper 70's in the morning and close to 90 in the heat of the day and the jacket is comfortable. At a light you're going to be a bit warm but quickly cool off once you get moving again. Seems to be a great jacket at a fair price.

This jacket offers a lot for the price and the removable liners make it very versatile. Construction and materials are of high quality. I am 6' and 190 lbs and the large fit me perfectly. Would highly recommend this product.

This jacket is perfect for summer riding, especially with the hot summer we've had here in the mountains of North Carolina. I like everything about it except the waist size runs smaller than the chart indicates. However, overall, I'm very happy with it.

Earl C. from AUGUSTA, KS:
I am a really big guy and ordered a 3XL. With both additional liners it is pretty tight. I wish I'd have ordered a 4XL but for the money this is a lot of jacket. I have a great leather winter riding coat so with the mesh used on the outershell, this works well for summer riding and the waterproof liner will be nice when needed.

Marc L. from Sherman Oaks, CA:
I've had this jacket for a few weeks and have ridden through rain and fog and even 102 degree weather here in SoCal. It worked great with the liner in the rain and without in the heat. The extra padding in the jacket in addition to the CE armor is a nice touch. I ordered a large and the sleeves are a bit longer than the rest of my jackets, but with the velcro wrist straps, it's not a problem. This is my 5th motorcycle jacket and the first one from Leatherup and it's now my favorite for almost any riding conditions. Nice quality at an affordable price..

Brian F. from LINCOLN, NE:
I am not sure what happened to my jacket but it must have been put together on a Friday. I have worn this jacket for two 1 week trips. I like the fact that it has all of the liners and it did keep me warm. The issues are the snaps. They have pulled out of the sleeves, where the liner snaps in near the neck and also where they snap in near the cuff of the sleeve. I know that it is an inexpensive jacket for most but I still think it should hold up longer than one ride. I will take it to a local alteration shop and see if they can fix it since it does do the job but I wont throw in the "This jacket is excellent for the money" schpeel...

I'm 5'10, 195 pounds, 36" waist and 42" chest. I ordered an XL and it fits perceftly. The coat is beautiful and has great features. Riding in 55 degree weather there was a littly chill coming through the sleeves but a light hoody made it perfect. It got a few degrees warmer and I didn't need the hoody. I had the 10% coupon and they offered free shipping so for $89.95 I think it's a fantastic bargain.

Excellent deal when looking for a lightly armored, protective and reflective jacket. Other "brand" name jackets are twice the price of this and have less than half the features. Pockets galore, removable armor, straps to fit, warm/cool, etc. I shopped around locally and online and this jacket has far exceeded my expectations. I'm tall (6'3) and ordered a 2X. Fits perfect with all the linings added. With everything out, it's slightly big for me, but I'm also a little on the skinny side. Overall, you will not find a better deal than this and you won't be disappointed.

I just got the jacket in the mail. The workmanship and quality exceeded my expectations. You can't find a better jacket for the price. I'm 5'9" 155lb and I workout. The size medium fit perfectly with all the liners installed. When I removed the waterproof and cold weather liner it was just a tad loose but with all the adjustment it was still a perfect fit. I highly recommend this jacket.

I am 5'10" and 210 lbs. Do a lot of weight lifting so decided to go with the XL instead of L. Made the right call and the fit is good except the arms a little bit long, but still fine. Gives good airflow on hot days with only the outer shell. The other two inside layers are good for cooler weather. I would say down to 50F or so. Haven't tested in the rain and don't plan to, but expect it would be decent. For the money, this is cool looking jacket and if it holds up for a few years then will be a super deal.

Michael L. from SMITHTOWN, NY:
The Xelement Jacket is a great bargain and very versatile. I am 6'2", 46" waist, 260lbs and big build. The jacket fit true to size although when using all inserts can make it a bit snug. If you are at the top of the size ratio I suggest going 1 size larger. Other than that the jacket is great. Went on a trip to Canada and put on 2700 miles and the jacket kept me cool in 80 - 85 degree days and with the quilted liner kept me warm on those 52-56 degree nights. No rain so I didn't test out the rain liner. The only recommendation I would make is if you are riding in cooler climates wear a long sleeve shirt. I didn't and my arms did get cold when riding at night in those 50 degree evenings. I recommend this jacket highly. Very well made and again a great bargain for the price.

My first try with this jacket was too small. Leatherup made it very easy to exchange for the proper size. This is a great jacket. Very well made, warm with all the liners, cool without. Looks great too. I couldn't be more pleased with this item.

Tony V. from NORTHFIELD, MN:
I received this jacket on a Thursday afternoon, took it out of the box, put it on, jumped on my bike and road 500 miles over the next two days, the jacket was great. Mesh was cool during the day and the waterproof liner kept me warm/dry in the rain and while I road at night. I'm 6'1" and 215 and the XL fits well. With all three layers it is snug but still comfortable. A feature I really liked was the two inside pockets that you can access without unzipping the inner liner. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

I am 5'10", 220 LBS with a bit of a gut. I ordered an XL. Was a bit worried but it fits just about perfect. Arms are long enough to not ride up. Seems like a very nice jacket. Have not had the pleasure of riding in the rain yet but the liner looks like it will keep me dry. I do agree that the arms get a bit chilly if you wear short sleeved shirts. The liner zippers are not the best quality either. Over all, I am very pleased. Well worth the price.

This jacket runs small in fit and you should consider getting a size larger than you normally wear. For an inexpensive jacket it has many desirable features. The many pockets inside and out provide considerable storage for small items. The zip in liners satisfy your comfort in many different weather conditions, however the use of inexpensive fasteners, zippers, snaps buttons caused me to rate this as 4 star overall. For the money you can't get a better jacket.

I'm 6'4" tall and weigh in at 285. The 5XL fits great, with and without the liners, because of the adjustments in the body and sleeves. I've worn it comfortably down to the upper 20's and into the mid 90's. The looks even rated interest and compliments at the local Harley shop. This is my second Xelement All Season Jacket and I am very pleased with this product and the price.

I am glad I read the reviews first, as I normally wear a 2X in all jackets with room to spare, but barely got in this 3X. Heavy duty riding jacket, well made, will last for years. Took longer to get on than my body armor before going on shift. Made sure you pull back velcro before unzipping or you will be putting this baby back together. I look forward to many years of use...

used the recommendations of the past ratings and ordered one size larger. The first jacket was damaged, but they quickly took care of it without any hassles. I removed the inner vest due the weather. It was great to be able to adjust the zippers to keep me warm through out the ride. Hard to believe it is $99.00. I have a jacket that cost me over $250.00, this one is better. Highly recommend the jacket

Kirk N. from ALEDO, TX:
I bought this jacket a year ago and used it all year. I bought a second jacket for my son. I ride my motorcycle whenever it is over 40 degrees which is most of the time in Texas. The jacket has two removable layers. I take both layers out when the temperature is over 65 degrees. I was comfortable on a 105 degree day with just the outer liner. I wear an insulated flight suit under the jacket when the temperature is below 50 degrees.

First and foremost ... love the jacket. Had to return first one because sizes ran small. LeatherUp shipped the replacement quickly. Very impressive service, just make sure you follow all instructions for returning an item. Liners are great. I have riden in sub 40 degree temps and have been very comfortable. Looks really good. Second great experience with LeatherUp.

This is a great jacket. The armor really doesn't impede any movement. The mesh, with the liner out, is perfectly fine even for desert riding at about 95 degrees. Completely comfortable with both liners in for 38 degree weather. I found the liners a little difficult to get back in once out. Taking them out is real easy. Overall a great jacket for the price.

Scott M. from Hixson, TN:
This jacket has a lot of features and is very versatile for the price. I haven't tried it in very cold weather yet. I put the liner in last week at 60 degrees and was too hot, so I expect that liner and the quilted vest to be good enough for me here in TN. The outer jacket did fine in 80 degree weather, as long as I didn't sit still too long. Some parts of it don't seem to be very good quality, and I kind of doubt that it will stand up to regular use for very long, maybe a year. I expect a seam or zipper to fail any time really. I'm not knocking it, though, for what all you get for the money. I ordered an XL and the fit is great except I find it to be a little long and tends to ride up. That's most likely my fault--I probably should wear a large but my gut is a little too big right now. Just keep that in mind if you're a little thick around the waist.

I am 5'8", 200lbs and went with a large. Jacket is on the tigher side, perhaps should have gone with XL but afraid lenght would not be good. Not sure there is room for a sweatshirt with all the liners in it. I found it a little difficult to get my arms in the sleeves with the mesh liner. Rode last night in 53 degree weather with tshirt under. Could feel the cold in my arms but the body of the jacket seemed to be good. Overall seems to be a great jacket for the value and hoping it might break in a little the more I wear it, or perhaps maybe I should shrink a little.

This a great jacket, perfect for the hot Texas weather. I have not used the vest or rain liner as yet but if it is like the jacket it the it will be perfect. I did not rate durability because I have had the jacket less than 30 days, although the nylon mess inter liner is already showing one pull place and I have not worn any thing to catch on the mesh. Over all the price, shipping and the jacket is worth the price. Very pleased.

I have been wearing leather jackets for all of my riding. I friend of mine started wearing a jacket similar to the Leatherup jacket, his was ok but kind of flimsy. I went on line and found the Leatherup jacket. It hadt the same features as my friend's jacket but the Leatherup jacket was constructed so much better. it included many pockets, zippers, and the three layers. The jacket arrived only a few days after I had placed the order; the jacket was inperfect condition. It took me a while to understand how all the layers attached but all were good. I ordereed one size larger than my normal size and the jacket was a perfect fit; I can't say how much I like this jacket, it is awesome.

Helluva deal for $99! On the advice of someone at Bike Bandit, I did order 2 whole sizes up. Arms are very slightly long but comfortable and the armor stays where it should, and it fits me through the shoulders and chest. Zipper could be a little easier. VERY comfortable to ride without the liners on hot days. If this jacket was lost I would arder the same thing in a heartbeat. Great deal.

Good value for the price. Sixes run small so recommend going to the next size Snaps pull out of the mesh VERY easily. I've been using it for 2 weeks in cool (45) and warm (90) and it worked very well. Warm with both liners and cool without. The quilted liner is a vest but the waterproof liner has sleeves. Decent value for the price.
