Robin H. from FLINT, MI:
These are great gloves at a great price! This is my second pair since my wife liked them so well she confiscated my first pair. They function well for riding in cold weather and I use them without the gauntlet for daily winter wear.

Tom J. from WARRENVILLE, IL:
I was a bit skeptical about how the controls would feel with gloves like this. My non-lined warmer weather gloves didn't feel right until I broke them in (they feel great now) so I thought these might be a problem in that regard. I was wrong! These are great. The worksmanhip is 1st class. The deer skin is so soft and supple that movement is very good. In fact, they feel great on the controls but I did wear them for a hour or to while clenching my fist, etc., to break them in a bit. The gauntlet detaches and attaches very easily and it provides a nice option. The inner sides of the index and middle fingers as well as the crotch of the thumb and index finger is lined with a friction material to give you a good grip on the controls which is a very nice touch. On a side note, I now have Xelement boots, an Xelement vest, and these gloves and I am more than impressed with the quality of this brand's products. In fact, I couldn't be happier. They are a great value and would be a great value at even a substantially higher price due to their fine quality. I should say that I haven't worn these gloves in cold weather yet so I can't comment on how warm they are but, judging from what I see, I can't see that that will be a problem. Also, I can't comment on durability but, again, they are so well-made that I expect I'll be handing these down to my son or grandsons. These should make excellent regular winter gloves they should be good for use when using my snowblower so they don't have to sit out the winter months. Excellent product!

I bought these for my husband...Had to wait for them to be back in stock...Popular item because they're so great apparently. He loves them! Very impressed with features (removable gauntlet, finger grips, palm padding) and high quality leather. The large is a bit snug for him, but figure they will stretch some. Had to send the first pair we ordered back due to defective stitching in the thumb on one of the gloves. Very fast and responsive customer service on our exchange. New pair is perfect.

Cody H. from LUDINGTON, MI:
Great warm, soft, and comfortable gloves at a great price. Love this gauntlet style during colder weather and as a bonus you can zipper off when needed. I thought that these fit perfect, but many reviews on here said that they run small. I ALWAYS wear a size large in a glove and found that these are a perfect Large. You could always send them back though, but there cheap enough that if you bought one of each size you could always sell them or give them to a buddy as a gift...just saying.

Good quality. The zipper cuff is a nice option. I thought the size was on target but if you have big wrists you may want to go one size larger than you think.

Randall R. from SOUTH ELGIN, IL:
I added a size due to everyone saying to go up a size. I usually wear a large and the XL fits slightly bigger than I would have liked. The glove is very warm in the cold weather but is thicker than I anticipated. I thought the deerskin would be thinner. My clutch hand gets fatigued faster than with my other gloves. Overall it is still a good buy due to the warmth.

These are very nice leather gloves, and a great value for the price. The gauntlet cuff zips on and off, and the sizing runs true. My husband wears a size 11 EEE shoe, and the 3xl gloves fit him nicely.

Had been looking for a pair of cooler weather leather gloves, and these are perfect for me. My fingers are a little shorter than most, so they are not perfect for me in finger length, but they cause me no trouble while riding. The rest of the fit is great.

Mike K. from Niantic, IL:
I live in Central Illinois and bought these now that the weather is getting cooler. Rode with these to work a couple of times when the morning temp is around 42 - 45 degrees. I ride approx 35 miles one way, and while the gauntlets do a good job of preventing wind around the wrist area, the fingertips still allowed my fingers to get pretty cold and numb. In my opinion, these gloves are perfect when the outside temp is above 50 degrees, otherwise look at getting a pair of heated gloves. Overall, these are a 4 out of 5. Insulation could be better.

Eric S. from PENSACOLA, FL:
I have only used thiese gloves a couple times on mornings that were a bit chilly. Gloves look and feel good. I like the fact that you can take off the gauntlet part of the glove if you choose to. I normally wear extra large in gloves and they fit just fine in extra large. I dont know down to what temprature these would keep your hands warm but I am estimating somwhere in the neighborhood of 55 degrees F for myself. My hands get cold pretty quick, lets face it, Im a little sissy when it comes to cold hands! I had nerve damage on one of my fingers so it gets cold pretty quickly compared to the rest of my digits so I have a had a heck of a time finding gloves that keep my entire hands warm during the winter months. For the price I think there are a great buy.

Great pair of gloves, fit nicely and work fairly well in anything above 45 F, but the only thing that was a bit annoying was the zipper inside the glove to detach the gauntlet, sometimes you can feel it poke your writs as you slide your hand in, but this can be adjusted after some time.

James G. from Valley, AL:
They run small. My hand, measured as they show it is 10 1/2". Fingers closed and extended I measured from my middle finger to my wrist just below my palm and it is 8 1/2". Hand wide open measuring strainght across my palm is 4". Holding hand the same measuring diagonally is 5". I ordered a 3X and it fits well. The fingertips are less than 1/4" to long but poses no problems. A 2X would not have fit my hand. This chart does not give a 3X size but when you go to order it is there. I hope this info helps.

Bruce S. from BALL GROUND, GA:
I absolutely love these gloves!!! Knowing LeatherUp the way I do, and some of the other online retailers that offer products made overseas, I went 2 sizes up and ordered 2XL. (I usually wear a Large in gloves) They fit great but I have a liitle extra at the fingertips. The deerskin is so soft and supple that these gloves are a pleasure to wear. They are insulated but the removeable gauntlet part make them a year-round glove. There is plenty of padding, and reinforced palm sections, so I anticipate many years of use out of these gloves. A great value at the price! You could easily spend $60-$80 for gloves with this quality.

Kevin Z. from Mantorville, MN:
I received these as a gift (after due hinting, sharing the measured size, and sharing a discount code). I have not yet been able to road-test these (received in January in MN) but they are very comfortable, fit well, seem quite warm, and the zip off cuffs work well. I did follow the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size up. They are none too loose even with that, but are not so tight as to be uncomfortable. I suspect that there will be some stretching once I am wearing them on a regular basis. Would buy again.

Follow the reviews about sizing. I ordered a size larger and they are still a little tight. I hope they will stretch out a little. The only complaint is that I ordered black gloves and they are not black. I'm not interested in paying to return them, so I will just deal with the color. Probably the best gloves I have had otherwise.
